I think Jenna and Steele are the cutest two ever and they deserve to be together, not Jenna and Balto. And lets face it, they would have cuter puppies than Balto and Jenna had. Anybody else agree with me? '

Isn't this tpoic spam? It's been pointed out several times by several different people that Jenna is to be paired with Balto. I have no problem with "non-canon" pairings such as this, but there's no need to make a topic for it.

I agree, this topic is spam, and I happen to disagree. Jenna is better with Balto.

Well it's more of an opinion thing than trying to really pair the two but I'm just saying, they make a better looking couple than Jenna and Balto.

What I meant to say is that I don't mind people making non-canon pairs, regardless of whether I agree with said pair itself. But yes, I believe this should be locked.

Well, yes, they look nicer together. Yes, their pups would probably be "prettier". But alas, looks aren't everything.

Steele is arrogant and selfish, only caring for his own reputation. Jenna had stronger loyalties and dose not approve ("It doesn't matter who's on the team as long as the medicine gets through! Stop being such a glory-hound!"). You can hear the annoyance and disappointment in her voice as she says that. I'm also willing to bet that Steele was only into Jenna because she was the "prettiest husky in town."

Jenna made it very clear that she didn't like Steele. Even when Sylvie and Dixie were all into their girly gossip about him, Jenna was more like "-_- Meh, not into him."

She was also the first to claim that Steele was lying when he claimed Balto dead.


So yes, looks-wise, they would make a good couple. Yes, their puppies would be pure-breds and would probably be very good-looking. But I definitely wouldn't say that they "deserve to be together"--it is clear that Jenna has absolutely no romantic interest in Steele and I think she deserves someone much better than a selfish and arrogant "glory-hound".

Balto, on the other hand, was honest with Jenna and it was clear that his loyalties lay not only with helping Jenna, but also to protect her girl, Rosie, and you can tell by the way he goes about this that he's not just trying to impress the husky, but is also genuinely concerned for her sick companion. He goes out after the sled team, risking his life for her and her girl, and bravely confronting Steele, who due to his lifestyle is probably much stronger than Balto. Steele, on the other hand, made the trek for the glory of it.

I think Jenna, who is so loyal to Rosie and can see deeper that the looks of a dog, deserves much better than Steele in terms on personality. I also think that she certainly deserves Balto, who she sees for who he is rather than what he looks like, or, in his specific case, what his heritage is. And I also think that Balto deserves her, too; he was willing to put his life on the line for her sake, and not for popularity. He came at her with a much humbler approach with a much warmer and more open heart.


....To sum it all up: Looks aren't everything. Jenna and Steele look good together, but they do not act well together. Personality-wise, Balto is a much better match for Jenna, and the heart is where it counts.


But of course, if you still wanna support them together, by all means, go ahead. XD I myself am a fan of Aleu/Niju, which quite frankly probably makes even less sense than Jenna/Steele. XD Shipping preferences are entirely up to the individual.
