I know a number of people have hinted it but I think we should talk about it, are they gay?
I know in that episode where Karnage and Rebecca change minds that go hubba-hubba aver her but in the 30's one would as it was a tabo subject... still is for some reason.
What do you guys think?

I don't think that Maddy and Dumptruck are gays - the episode you have mentioned (it's called "Baloo Switcheroo") is the prove of my opinion. If the current male people fascinate on women, how they can be homosexuals? Unless they'd be bisexual (this option is more interesting... )

Well, when you think about it, all the air pirates are male...if it was realistic, some of them WOULD be I don't think Disney would have shown that though. I think the only "gay" Disney character is one from Gargoyles, and it wasn't even in the series but in the more recent comic.

Another way is that the ship is all men, and history shows that navy's were known for it. Winston Churchell once said that Nelson's navy was scrvey, sodomy and the lash.

Mmm, there may be some children around here, so please don't go further I'm not sure how Jymn would react if we asked him if the air pirates are gay Do you think if there was a new Talespin comic or series, Disney would allow this? (this is a true question, not an affirmation)

(this is a true question, not an affirmation) In a VERY sbutle way, and I didn't intend for this too go as dirty as it did. I just wanted an honest and frank talk about it. I've known people who are gay and for the most part I knew only after they told me.

This could explain why they aren't married even though that is the only reason for not being married. Like Baloo and Karnage, they are men of freedom.

Mad Dog totally gives off an "ambiguously gay" vibe to me. Maybe its the outfit and his effeminate personality for a pirate. Not so much in the case of Dumptruck. I could easily see Mad Dog being bi.

I could easily see Mad Dog being bi. Mad dog is the Plunder and Lightning seems to be making flirting eyes at Karnage who isn’t pay attention to him. Karnage might be the Don Juan character who might be Gay or not. In Jumping the Guns, Mad dog tells Dumptruck he is going to ask for a raise. Dumptruck gets all angry and complains about being able to buy a decent pair of shoes to go dancing with? Does this have implies they go dancing together or they find girls to go dancing with?
