Of course, animated films for kids such as Balto 1, 2, and 3 would not be complete without some moral lessons. I have picked up a few moral lessons of my own from these movies, but what I want to hear or see are the moral lessons you have picked up. Please feel free to type in whatever lessons you have learned from these movies in this topic forum. Thank you and a nice day.

Only four posts? I've seen on here for a long time.
Anyways...
Balto 1 taught me to be proud of who you are, and to embrace what makes you unique.
Balto 2 taught me a number of lessons. One, to cherish your family because you'll never know when they might leave and how long it will be til you see them again. Two, sometimes letting go is the hardest thing to do, but it simply must be done.
Balto 3 taught me to do the right thing when you know it's the right thing, regardless of what your friends might think.

Balto taught me that existence exists and encompasses everything including all states of consciousness. The world exists independently of the mind and is there to be discovered by the mind. In order to be conscious, we must be conscious of something. There can be no consciousness if nothing exists. Consciousness, the faculty of perceiving that which exists, is the ability to discover, rather than to create, objects. Consciousness, a relational concept, presupposes the existence of something external to consciousness, something to be aware of. Initially, we become aware of something outside of our consciousness and then we become aware of our consciousness by contemplating on the process through which we became aware.

I think you are confusing Balto with The Matrix. Or Inception. Or Silent Hill. Or maybe interpretation can be a very fickle thing. But at least we now know that existence exists. How... existential.

SERiously. I don't see any of the animated movies on this entire site having that message in them, or using it as a moral lesson. May I suggest DesCartes' philosophical writings if you want to ponder existence. Just leave the Balto movies to what they are.

Seems I was the only one who gleaned anything moral from the films, haha!
Granted, aside from Balto 2's family matters, it wasn't something I didn't already know, and was just a bit of reinforcement.
I think that the basic humility lessons shown from Balto 1 regarding Steele's treatment to Balto should be rewatched by adults sometimes; people can still be pretty cruel to one another for something as menial as the color of their skin.

in the second film i think is about "letting go". balto stops babying his grown daughter and lets her go have her own life.

The message in Balto III of not trying to be someone more than you are, just rather being who YOU are. Combined with Balto, where there's perseverence and selflessness. Balto II--hmm....I'll post an update when I can think of it.

That's important for children to know xD it can go for kids and their pets, or belongings. like giving up their favorite toy in favor of something more important like food or clothes.

I feel that all the movies have similar morals, and they all revolve around the reason what's inside is what really matters. Balto 1, for example, revolves around the fact that your ancestry doesn't reflect who you are (see Balto's line, "Since when do you need a pedigree to help someone?") This theme can also be seen in Balto 2, when Aleu ran away after finding out about her heritage--that she was part wolf. She had based all that had happened to her (or not happened to her) on her ancestry, thinking that defined her. Balto 3 breaks the trend somewhat, but it shares another theme from the first movie: to always do what you know is right. This can be seen in Kodi's feelings and actions throughout the movie.

Moral Lesson? That's an awesome question! why didn't I think of that? hmmm... . Well, anyway, I learned that even though you are going to have hardships in life and people are going to "beat-you-down", that if you preserver and work your hardest for the ones that you love, there will be a larger reward to life! (That's what i believe I've learned)
