Plot: On the African savannah, two cheetah cubs, both stolen from their home to become a human's pet, befriend one another and endure the roughness of life together. They go through the pains of dealing with a human, and not long once they reach maturity, tragedy strikes. Will they stick together and face things with each other, or will their friendship break sending them separate ways?

The sun rose into the early morning, the Orange big ball in the sky as it slowly makes it's way up into the sky ward area in Africa. The red sky slowly turning too blueish orange the higher the sun got.
In the savannah that is home to many Animals, Lions, Zebras, Giraffes, Antelopes, Hippos, and Cheetahs, the fastest Land Mammals on earth. All asleep through out the savannah.
Under a tree out in the open. A small white new-born Cheetah, who's spotted all over but white stripes on the whole length of it's tail slowly opened its ears and mewed softly and snuggled closer to his mother as the sun was bugging him awake. The mother Cheetah was of course asleep still but could feel her son's movement by her side in her sleep. She opened one of her eyes, a piercing green eye down at her son and smiled warmly before licking him on the head.
The young Cheetah, opened his bright blue eyes and looked up at her, his eyes still tired from yet still not enough sleep yet.
"Aw... sorry there honey, Didn't mean to wake ya," said the Mother cheetah and licked him on the head again before laying her head back down onto the soft dry grass.
The young Cheetah moved closer to his mother's head and slowly purred back to sleep. Feeling a little better now.

Off in their territory, a mother cheetah lay with her golden cub. Only one this spring. She remembered a time when she was produce heavy four cubs in one spring, lately, things had been scarce. With the two cubs she gave birth two, only one had survived, but she cherished this one golden cub.
The young female had a crisp golden pelt, her mane a light ruffled white. She her spot placement was dense and the rings on her tails were plenty, this cub would never know how much she resembled her father.
"Sunshine," the mother chimed the nickname she used for her beloved daughter, remembering when her cub's father had called herself the same thing. "It's time to wake up."

The young white cheetah was dreaming, dreaming of who is father could be. He didn't understand why his dad left... He never would, not in the distance future.
His mother watched his legs twitch as he was sleeping and laughed a bit, knowing he had her personality. Almost everything about her, other then the pelt, the pelt was his fathers spotted fur and her ringed fur around her body. But his was only at his tail. She still was happy for him. She waited for him to wake up again she he can go around and play with other young cubs. Cubs his age, at least a month and a half old. She was worried about that, if other Cubs can be nice to him, since he has yet to talk yet, only meow slightly, but even then it's still soft, and knew he would have a wonderful voice... like his fathers.

The cub stirred as her mother began to groom her. The little cheetah let out a small huff.
"Momma!" she complained. "I don't want to get up!"
"But it's time, Dinn," the mother chuckled softly. "The sun has been up long enough, you need to rise as well."
"Well, oh bother." Dinn snorted, slowly getting to her small paws, shaking out her fur.

After at least a half a hour flew by the for the mother she woke up her son, who purred, but also groaned softly.
The young Cheetah mewed softly and nudged her mother's chin before getting up.
"I really hope you can talk soon," said the mother and stood up, grabbing her son and starting to walk towards the water hole to get drinks.

Dinn yawned and before she knew it, her limber mother scooped her off the hard savannah ground.
"Are we going to the watering hole?" Dinn asked with excitement, curling her paws to her body, letting her long tail hang down. He mother didn't answer, but Dinn knew that's where they had to be going, and if they weren't, Dinn was going to be worried.

The mother set her young son down to get some water, "Get a nice drink Maji, it'll wake you up more," said his mother.
Maji nodded and licked up a bit of water. and before he knew it he was done drinking, and full of water and was also wide awake. He mewed lightly and swished his long skinny tail.

Dinn's mother carried her cautiously through the savannah, pausing behind a large rock and setting the cub down. Dinn looked around, not recognizing the area.
"Momma, where are we?" Dinn asked.
"We're taking a back way." she informed. "I've seen humans lurking around lately."
Dinn shivered at the mere word "humans". Dinn's mother had a past bad experiences with humans, and while other animals were tranquil about the creature, Dinn's mother couldn't stand them.

The mother smiled and set him right next to a rock, "Stay here, I'm going to get us something to eat," aid the mother.
Maji mewed and laid down on the soft dry grass of the Savannah.
The Stripped Cheetah went off to look into finding some Antelope, not knowing about the humans.

Dinn's mother glanced down at her cub, "Dinn i want you to-"
"Stay here while you go hunt," Dinn finished. "I know, i know. What a bother. I want to come with you!"
"Not yet," the mother said with a chuckle. "One day!" and with that she dashed off, disappearing into the grass.
"Well..i don't want to sit around here." Dinn complained. "I wanna go to the watering hole.." she mumbled and she began to slink over to the grass covered area where the watering hole was.

As the older Cheetah jumped up and speed towards a Antelope, she wondered if her son wasn't venturing off, she knew he liked to. But he promised not to move, she doesn't really know what she is thinking.
Maji did move, but only out into the open to get another drink of water. He tried to talk a tad bit too, he only got a quiet mew. He laid down, half of his body laying in the the water.

Dinn crept through the grass, it crunched under her paws with every step. After she walked a few dozen feet, she realized her paw steps were sounding very loud. She froze and twitched her nose. It was then she realized someone was following her.
Quickly, the young female dashed to the watering hole, the footsteps behind her loud and louder still, following her every move; from her sharp turns to the tumbles she made with her unbalanced paws. The young cub squealed in terror, tumbling over a small dirt hill and tumbling into the shallow parts of the watering hole, making a small splash as her pursuer closed in.

Maji looked over seeing water falling back down onto the water. He tilted his head a mewed quietly and began to walk over to where it came from. He walked slowly over to the spot the water splashed up, tilting his head back and forth.
The mother was soon dragging the dead Antelope back towards the watering hole.

Dinn flew out of the water, flinging up water droplets as she caught sight of her pursuer. She gasped in pure horror at the sight. "HUMANS!" She squealed, pointing toward the grass where a few man were heading toward the watering hole, both watching the cubs.
Dinn tried to get up, but kept fumbling over her own unbalanced paws, throwing water everywhere in her mad scramble to escape the man that were after her.

Maji jumped at her yell and lowered him self to the round quickly. He slowly crawled into the water staying calm not wanting to alert anything.
The mother heard a faint scream and quickly dropped the dead Antelope.
