I just want to know: does anyone on this site know about the band RED (their music, etc.)? Anyone who does, feel free to discuss the band, whether it be the meaning of their songs, when they might release a new album, anything.

I agree with every point you're making there, Dante. RED is and continues to be the epitome of what I think many other bands are trying to be. They have heavier songs, full of driving bass and electrifying guitar, more mediated songs like "Faceless" and "Start Again", and even the softer, more uplifting songs like "Best Is Yet To Come" and Start Again". All in all, they're a great band that has been amazing from the start, and, I'm sure, will be amazing in the coming years. I made sure to buy all three albums as soon as I was able to, and I know for a fact that I will buy as many as they produce.
In short, RED is an amazing band.

I have. I have their End of Silence CD. What attracts me to them isnt their messages, but the harmonies between rock and strings in their music.

^ Pick up a copy of Innocence And Instinct then. That album has a ton of that.

My all-time favorite band!
My favorite song would probably have to be Let It Burn, though I love all their songs so much. (:
This band is so special to me, even though most people I've shown it to think it's an ordinary band. It puts such an impact on my emotions.

I agree completely with both of you--the band is simply amazing. Wolfox wrote: but I need to listen to more from them! xD Yep. I recommend "Lie To Me (Denial)," "Best Is Yet To Come," "Ordinary World," "Forever," and "Pieces" as far as being similar to "Never Be The Same," but I recommend all their songs anyway. xD
