I'm running into this far to much, and it's getting offensive.

My image keeps getting deactivate with the mods stating it's a base and that i need to credit the base maker.

I am all for credit base makers, Lineart makers, and blank makers. I continuously report others for not doing this.

So why am i not crediting the base maker for my image?

It's because its not a base, i spent about a good 15 minutes or more rendering it myself cutting up screencaps, lining and coloring it.

But they still say credit the base maker. So i asked what base they think i used....I don't get a reply. I would like to know what base they think i used to i can show them that i did in fact do this myself.

I find it offensive to clam something is a base when you have no evidence of it and i spent countless minutes rendering it myself. Its in my style of rendering it's not like it looks completely different from my other work.

now i do understand this is a horrible time for the mods and that might be why i haven't gotten a reply.

But this is awfully annoying and is really kinda out of hand.

Then just state that it's a mix up of different images, and credit the studio(s) that made the original art. Mods go through a ton of images daily, we can't remember everything we see because it's just impossible.

Yeah but I got that message when I uploaded a base itself. Why should I upload someone else's blank lineart? O_o And that's pretty stupid because if you don't know if it's used base or not - do not deactivate it assuming it's an used base. There are enough of uncredited base usages to tell you this doesn't work....
