Natives often have their own small herds of horses that join with the main herd; these horses owners can be determined by breeding, markings, and things such as feathers in their manes

Smiles a Lot rode Swift after the herd of buffalo, steering the sleek stallion with his legs, he pulled his bow string back and closed one eye, aiming for the shoulder of the big bull buffalo on his left side.

Jaguar Paw:
I grabbed onto Indian's mane, pulling myself quick and swift onto his back. I patted his neck, kicking his sides, my bow and arrows ready. I pulled my bow out and grabbed an arrow. I looked down the side of the bow and shot it into the side of the buffalo. Trusting that Indian would stay with the chase.

Swift didn't falter when the buffalo beside them fell, he continued, Smiles A Lot drew another arrow, readying his bow a second time. He released the arrow and brought down another of the great beasts. He reigned in Swift and pulled him to a stop.

Jaguar Paw:
I was about to shoot down another when I saw a buffalo coming at Indian. Indian reared up. Throwing me off his back and making me land in the bison's path. I stared in fear as the bison was running at me. I jumped up and tried to run, not getting to far I turned and shot the bison in the forehead. I grabbed Indian and jumped onto his back as the bison fell to the ground.

((Okay))

Smiles A Lot went back to the village to get the rest of the people to come and 'clean' the kill, soon the village had stripped the carcasses of everything.

Obsidian Rock:
I walk over, shoving others out of the way so I could rightfully skin that massive animal. I had my special Obsidian arrowhead and I cut deep into the skin. After cleaning it I was the first to cut a piece and eat. Flint Sky and Jaguar Paw soon joined.

Smiles A Lot leaned against Swift and watched silently, his arms crossed, he had no desire to join them, his teepee was full of buffalo skins, the thing was made of it. He wasn't hungry, he only wanted his tribe to have plenty of food. He swung onto Swift's back and began to walk him away.

Obsidian Rock & Jaguar Paw:
We had gotten into an argument. Obsidian Rock pulled out his obsidian arrow head and held it tight. He challenged young Jaguar Paw. Not backing down from anything. Flint Sky intervined. Brining his son away.

Francheska:
I grabbed my jacket, making my way to the door. I had placed my notebook in my inside pocket, grabbing a couple pencils. I walked out to the make-shift coral and got on Feather. I rode her out of the coral, heading into an indian tribe territory without knowing.

OOC: Smiles A Lot's mare's name is Feather, but I'll think of something and change it..

Smiles A Lot rode through the tall praire grass to his teepee, it was serperated from the main 'camp,' just the way he liked it. He got off Swift and sat down in the grass, not even visible, he closed his eyes, enjoying the small sounds and smells that were normally overlooked. The swish of the horses tails as the munched on grass, the 'waves' of praire grass made a melody as a breeze blew it. The smell of outside, it never of old.

Francheska:
I slowed Feather to a stop under a shady tree. I tied her to the tree and sat down, pulling my knees up, bracing my notebook on my legs. I wrote in the prettiest cursive writing I could. I looked around the great plains. I had seen only these lands in books. I watched as I saw a native, Jaguar Paw, pick up his son. Laughing and having a good time, then I saw another and another. I decided being here wasn't a good idea. When I got up I felt like someone was watching me, I turned around to come face to chest with Obsidian Rock. He glared down at me, his knife ready. I gasped, dropping my notebook. He had bent down and picked it up. Looking at the words with confusion, he looked at Feather. Patting her neck. I was so scared I didn't know what to think. I kept my eyes on that knife he was holding. When he spoke his voice made me jump. It was deeper and stronger than I thought, his eyes pierced into mine. He said something in his native tounge but I didn't understand. I gave him a, 'What!?' look but I guess it only made things worse because he started yelling at me.

Smiles A Lot heard yelling and stood, he made his way towards the noise. There were two main leaders in the tripe. The religious/peaceful leader who always asked the spirits and gods and always considered the peaceful solution. The other was the warlike leader, always into acting; then reflecting. Smiles A Lot's father was the peaceful leader and he had every intention to follow in his father's footsteps. He hoped he could bring the yelling to a stop. He approached Obsidian Rock, the man was his elder so he made no move then to see what was happening. His heart 'stopped' when he saw the small white girl. This was not good.

Obsidian Rock:
You dare interupt me!? I said in my native tounge. I could see the fear in that girl's eyes and I raised my knife. Into clearer view. Shall we do things your way? I said again to Smiles-A--Lot, my knife ready for battle.

Smiles A Lot shook his head, "Don't kill her, she need not die." he said. He saw the fear in the girl's eyes. "She doesn't understand anything we're saying." he realized.
