Here can be found several pieces of poetry, written by none other than I. If you, by the typically high percentage, have already lost interest by the time you've been exposed to my elaborate speech, you are welcome to look someplace else; it would not be my intention to bore and allude someone from their life. Here I Stand
Here I stand, that I see;
A fleeting dream touched by passion
There you land, now you're with me
It is why this seems to happen
Take my hand, follow me
Under the scarlet skies, we'll dance
I can show you life, such an enchanted trance;
The things you wish, what you want to be
What cannot be seen, the essence;
A dreary day forgotten—lost
What we have hoped, obscene, fancied;
Dance with me, let us come to cross
The trickling of the brook ever present;
A carefree cycle of abounding wisdom
For all that we mistook, reaching for what we covet;
Our dreams may yet come to pass
To the heavens beyond
Yonder the valleys below
We are yet lead on
By the sun's incandescent glow
Rest on me, I will hold you tight
To protect, to shield, to parry;
The light of the night, seeks not to fight
When I am nearest you, my heart is merry
On the seas, touched by a voice;
The tales spread throughout the land
With the wind at my back, I need not a choice;

Magical Sands
Beyond the burning sands, the unforgiving dunes;
Stretch out your wandering hands, behold scarlet runes
An utopia veiled by the dusty wind, awaiting sacred bounds;
Come forth the courage within, lend an ear to its sounds
A swirling incantation in its midst;
A sand sea of magic, expect the extreme
Sorcery's imagination, most ubiquitous;
When at first, tragic, you'll wake not from a dream
In this desert paradise, it is thus;
Azure oasis, the architecture of grandeur
Exotic strangers, thrice, the shadows' impetus;
Becalmed to this, the secrets are a blur
Of fruits, of trinkets, of baubles so fine;
No brutes in our way, let us take our time
Wrap your fingers about, this is to please;
Ne'er beg a shout, all is as it seems
Come! Move, sway with the wind;
Let go, instill, find it—and win
So slow, its reaches bear that of a grin
Its hum! Reverberate, contrast, rescind

All That I Ask For
The dreary days spent
My heart unwilling to relent
I stand here as the lone wolf
Searching for us both
As I gaze to the distance
The stormy sky's resistance
That rain, reflects my tears
Genuflecting what constantly nears
I have come so close
I'm drawing nearer
This fool youth's hope
Could it be any clearer?
Far-off into the valley
I echoed your name
The words, my heart did rally
Like a fountain of flame
What I wish for is not gifts, or glory
Treasures and gold, I look upon so sorely
Nor jewels nor riches

An idiot's fantasy
Some outcast's hallucination
This is how they have confirmed me
Baffled of what they cannot see
The thought of you
So vivid, from the start
Filling my soul anew
