Shes a good writer, yeah but her books are all the same.
There always about kids with problems that happen to be very bad at english. She should write books about kids that, for once, don't have family problems etc...its getting boring...
Ive not read all of her books but Ive read enough to get the idea that she must love writing about kids with problems...

I guess that's what she likes to write about. And she's good at it, too. Besides, she brought a lot of attention through her books to modern issues that were kind of being ignored. With 'The Illustrated Mum' she showed the danger of children living with parents that had a few mental problems. In 'The Suitcase Kid' it was divorce. With 'Double Act' she explored the subject of identical twins and how they feel. C'mon, you've got to admit her books are at least interesting, and well-written too!
