The screech of the alarm clock should hae bolted Kat up in a second, but it didn't. In fact it took 15 minuets for her to even register the noise. The only thing that managed her awake was the foot of another orphane stepping on her own foot. Kat grumbled something about unreasonable working hours and sat up. She glared at the kid stepping down from her bunk and stretched. Kat yawned and swung her legs over the bunk, she picked up her phone and texted Alfred.
'Overslept, ride please?' she texted, walking over to the large bathroom that she shared with 15 other girls. There weren't too many people in there anymore because she had over slept, and those still in the bathroom were probably worrying about a ride. The only bus that drove to school left at 7:40, if you didn't catch it you had to find a ride or walk the 4 miles to the school. Kat cleaned herself up and checked her phone for texts.

Alfred was driving down the rode, a McDonalds cheeseburger in hand when he got Kat's text.
Sure! On my way~ h texted back, driving to the orphanage.

Arthur was in the school office, sitting and listening to the boring American talk. Couldnt this end already? Finally, he was given a paper with his classes on it, and he was given a picture of Alfred, who we would be staying with in the dorm. He sighed, and waited in the principal's office, as told, waiting for his new room mate to give him a tour of the school.

Kat smiled when he texted back and pulled her vintage Superman T-shirt over her head and slipped on her favorite pair of Toms. She’d gotten the Toms at the goodwill for a killer deal. Kat stumbled around the sleeping room of the orphanage; she bunked with 15 other girls. They were all depressed, and all very hormonal. Half the time all Kat heard was sobbing and complaining. Of course it wasn’t like Kat never mourned. But she was mostly just rebellions now, pissed off at the suckish system that put her in this orphanage. Kat ventured outside and stood on the side walk, where Alfred usually picked her up.

Alfred pulled up to the sidewalk and grinned, seeing she had her superman shirt on - as did he.
"Hey! We like, match!" He exclaimed as she stepped into the car. "So i heard that the transfer dude was gonna be stayin' in my dorm! How cool is that?!" Alfred chimed, pulling up to the school, which was really a short drive.

Kat giggled, her cheeks flushing "We do match!" She agreed. When they pulled up to the school and Alfred announced that the foriegn exchange guy was his new dorm mate Kat only nodded "Ya, cool, living with people sucks though. Ever try living with 15 girls? Hah, you'd like it cuz' you're a dude." She chuckled. Kat got out of the car and started walking with Alfred towards the school.

Alfred laughed. "I heard he was british. They have cool accents dude!" He chimed, walking into the office. Alfred nodded to the office lady, who pointed into Principal Simon's office (random name i know xD) where the blonde sat patiently. Principal Simon stood, as did Arthur, who turned and gazed at Alfred.
"Mr. Jones, this is Mr. Kirkland. Arthur Kirkland, you'll be staying with Alfred." Mr. Simon said, and Arthur nodded a hello to them.
"Heya dude! Welcome to America!" Alfred greeted him excitedly, grabbing Arthur's hand and shaking it. "Thanks Mr. Principal dude i got it from here!" Alfred called, tugging Arthur into the hall. "Kat youre gonna help me show 'em around right?"

Kat laughed along with him and fallowed Alfred into the front office. Her gaze fell to Arthur and she smiled a little more, he seemed cute, the girls would definatly be all over her tonight for details on him. Kat didn't feel very confortable being around the princible, considdering she hadn't shown up to the last 6 detentions that had been issued to her. Kat sighed with relief as they walked out and nodded at Alfred "Yeah i'll help, it's not like I have friends or anything." Kat teased.

Arthur pulled his hand away from Alfred as the american nodded.
"Alrighty then dude! Let's go!" He chimed, and Arthur followed along silently, looking curiously around at his setting, before huffing.
"Don't call me dude. I have a name." He growled.

Kat trailed along side Alfred, grinning at Arthur and trying to mimick his accent.
"Yes, good sir, but here in America, we tend to use...Oh bother...What's that phrase? Ah yes, pet names, for one and other. For instance I call my good lad here Alfred dude, and broski, and mn, and playa'. Much like the English would call each other chap, and lad, and sonny!" Kat giggled after using her British accent.

Arthur frowned. "You sound like an idiot." He growled, shoving his hands in his pockets. Alfred laughed, begining to mimick his accent as well.
"Yes, guv'nah would you like a spot of tea?" Alfred said with a laugh, before Arthur had him slammed against the lockers, even though he was half his side.
"If you don't cut it out.." He snarled, letting Alfred up, the american was wide eyed.
"Okay okay geez dude calm down.."

"Holy freak show dude, calm down! We were just having some fun. No need for a fight. I dunno' what sh*t goes down in England, but we're just playing." Kat huffed. Who would do that? Over being teased? This guy had some serious issues!

Arthur scoffed, and Alfred raised his eyebrows at him.
"Yeah, man, like seriously.." The american chimed, and Arthur scowled at him.
"Just finish this stupid tour already."
"Okay okay..So do you have a girlfriend?"
"No."
"Boyfriend?"
"..No.."
"Do you have a-"
"Would you stop with the 20 questions thing?" Arthur growled, and Alfred shrugged. "Just wanna know more about ya'."

Kat grinned at the 20 questions game. She loved interrigating people. Kat spun in front of them and faced them, walking backwards and grinning wildly.
"So Arthur, what brings you to the states?" She asked, twirling then returning to her walking backwards.

Arthur sighed, and decided to go along with it.
"Parents. They sent me away because i faught with my brothers too much." He answered boredly.

Kat nodded ,she could all ready tell that Arthur was a fighter. Considdering what he just did to Alfred, anyways.
"Ah, I see." She heard the bell ring and she sighed "As much as I'd love to ditch class, I have a history final and if I don't do it now i'll have to do it after school...I gotta' go... If you need any help with prying girls off of you just ask, girls fear me at this school." It was partially true, mostly because she was an orphane. "Peace out Alfred, see ya' in study hall!" Kat excalimed, running off to history.
