Sorry if this isn't a proper rant or has been done before.

I've notice lately that many people take out whatever they wish to "rant" about out on other users characters,Images,Articles, and Fanfictions. They are usually mini rants what most Users avoid putting here in the rant board because they aren't big enough or seem petty. Most I've noticed are usually either Questions, which can be found in the Questions section of any of the sources or complaints about the way the sites ran which should be taken to a global mod, web master, or Steet.

More often these mini rants are rude and pointed at specific users, or character types, the more common ones being about Character species, Character realism, sparkle factors, and what the ranting user thinks should be allowed and not allowed on the sites and usually end with statements like "but i liked your (insert fan creation here)" or " But this isn't just pointed at you"

I'm sorry I know everyone had opinion but quiet frankly, those mini rants do not belong on pages other users worked hard on, They belong in the questions, This rant board (if an actual rant that hasn't been handled already), or Pm your issues to someone who manages the site. It's not fair to plague a users work with those mini rants. and I see this all the time on Fan creations.

Or maybe I'm the only one who see's this as a bothersome problem.

This is Animation Source, where anything is possible. so I'm not surprised by that.

Really all you can do is report these kinds of things, it really isn't something that can't be stopped.

truthfully I'm not surprised either, not because of the sites user history or anything but just because that's just were internet etiquette is going. I'm just frustrated because the whole "treat people the way you'd want to be treated" has gone down the tube. everyone whom posts those mini rants on the fan creation pages knows for a fact they would be upset if someone did it to them..so why do it?

I do understand that many users are still very young and i try my hardest to keep that in mind as well.

but your right there isn't really a lot that can be done about it.

This makes me happy. I wish more people would be just as thoughtful.

Sadly as you and Mighty have mentioned, not much we can do. But these mini rants could be considered as bullying.
Which of course we do not tolerate, so if you see it, please report it. Or PM one of us Mods.

I agree these mini rants are very impolite and I don't understand why it's done. If you honestly don't have anything nice to say please just don't say it at all!
