Thought it'd be interesting. Are there any major phobias you have whether they're dramatic or minor? Or you can just post a fear you have. My phobia [and it actually is exactly how it's listed here; I'm not exaggerating...]: http://www.anxietycentre.com/social-phobia.shtml Bugs also freak me out. And I get anxiety before taking tests and/or quizzes.

I got three main Phobias.
1: Betrayal - This is why i have begun to never trust friends. Ive spent 7 years suffering my best friends betraying me. and possible friendly people going evil on me. Im sick of it. it Depresses me and Makes me feel Horrific and terrified of the current friends doing same thing. So now i wont allow it.. but im still scared of it
2: Bugs - Not all bugs. but most. Its a common phobia. not much else to explain. il look and all but il never get close to touching.. unless their TINY. xD
3: Open Spaces - Bad experience when i passed out in middle of a large empty field. seeing whiteness and felt empty and terrified. never could be in a big open space again without the desire to flee to the closest Wall.

^ Uh huh... well they don't have to send you "screaming".
Anyway... I have xyrophobia. ...but broken glass gives me chills too.

I don't have any phobias of insects per se, but I have a healthy fear of (and respect for) stinging insects...specifically wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, etc. Not so much bees. I've managed to keep my cool around bees. But I was stung by a wasp when I was a kid...and I will never forget it. Ever. Had sat down in the back seat of my parents' car, and the wasp was there...stung my leg. We managed to get it off me and out of the car, but man, was that ever painful! And even to this day, I still occasionally have the odd habit of sitting down in a car seat, then getting partially up, momentarily, to check underneath my legs to see if anything is there. I know. Weird, huh? It's almost really more a sort of obsessive-compulsive behavior than a phobia. Or perhaps both combined.
......
Oh...er, yeah...I just can't resist this. Sorry, it has to be done. I'll apologize in advance. Sooo...

@ JC: LMAO! That was awesome. xD
AND HOW WEIRD! Though not a phobia or real fear anymore, I had the most hardcore hatred/fear of wasps/bees. Had two nasty experiences with them. First was when I was a kid and used to sleep with an orca. I was asleep and subconsciously pulled the whale closer, not realizing a wasp was underneath it... Needless to say I got a nasty wake up call. x_x
Second time was when I was still a kid, taking some sandwiches outside to my sibling so we could eat lunch and still play. I had (and still have) a habit (more of a fond dislike) for not wearing shoes or feet coverings of any kind outside, and so of course I stepped on a bee of some sort in the grass. Dropped the sandwiches and wailed in pain at it. The traumatizing (though probably funny to most) part about it was the fact we used to have this black cocker spaniel, and she was outside with us when it happened. Didn't run for help when I cried out, or even come to see if I was okay like Lassie would do. What DID she do then? Ate the sandwiches of course.
I used to yell for my dad to kill them, but after getting constant replies of "SUCK IT UP AND KILL IT YOURSELF", I started not caring anymore, and just killed any wasp in sight. Honeybees and Bumblebees are the only bee to receive any mercy from me.

I'm terrified of bugs, too, except for spiders, scorpions, and dragonflies. My friends find me...kinda weird
Actually, I happen to like dragonflies. And damselflies. They actually present no threat unless you manage to capture or relentlessly harass them. And I've actually seen them in a rather oddly playful mood (as playful as insects can get anyway). They will actually engage you in some innocent "tag", of sorts, when you get close. It's kinda cool. lol But catching them? THAT'S a challenge and a half! I don't bother. After all, they CAN bite if properly motivated.

Too see a closeup of the eyes. Pretty cool looking and interesting.
I don't mind insects or bugs of any sort. I just hate it when they fly.
Glad you liked it. Heh heh. Yeah, I have a passion for hunting down any house fly or horse fly which gets indoors. I'll roll up a newspaper and relentlessly hunt the thing until I can trap it in a small space and wait for it to land...and then...MWAAA HA HA HAAAA!!! I'll keep swatting until the sucker is nothing more than a smear. Then it's time to get the sanitary wipes. lol

I couldn't resist with the picture. It's just so big that, when you click the box, the picture ends up highlighted as if you are selecting it. GAH.
Yeah, I can hang with honey bees. Even bumble bees. They're docile enough. You REALLY have to upset them to get them to react defensively. Of course, I don't live anywhere near the areas invaded by Africanized bees here in the U.S., so...
Even carpenter bees are not so bad. The females tend to stay out of the way doing their thing, and the males, in breeding season, are hilarious. They flit and dive and bump into things, and then will hover in mid air. And if you happen to walk up on one, and try to get around it, it will actually hover and rotate in position, watching you. lol I find that strangely amusing. And after all, the males can't sting.
Heh heh heh...trust me. Great flicks. The first one is a sort of B-movie 80s cult favorite (why? See below...). The other is just plain horror movie fun.

I'm not entirely sure why, but riding in a vehicle on a freeway with semis all around makes me nervous. Especially when your going through some place like Cincinnati or Dayton.

Bees/Wasps/Any other stinging insect. A bee stung me on the foot when I was a little kid - never forgot it.
It might be related to that, but I get really nervous any time I have to get vaccines, like the yearly flu shot. I just don't like the feeling of the needle piercing into my skin.

Ooh man, I ALWAYS hated getting needles when I was a kid! Doesn't bother me anymore, so I guess it's not a phobia though. But dentists? Now THEY scare the hell out of me. And while I take good care of my teeth, I absolutely loathe going to a dentist. Fearfully.
But back to clowns, and the movie "Killer Klowns From Outer Space", which I linked in my last post. I happen to love clowns, and never understood peoples' fear of them. lol Odd. But I wanted to show everyone (especially those of you who fear clowns ) this trailer clip from the movie, so you can see how cool it is (cheesy, predictable dialogue and effects and all...lol. But hey - it has Vernon Dent, who was Dean Wermer in "Animal House". And it is just a really cool movie when you really get the story!)

Dentists, that reminds me. I HATE them, I freak out every time I have to go. When I was little I guess I got upset and threw a fit. They threatened if I didn't stop crying that they would strap me down or something. My mom took me and walked back out and never went back there again.
As for clowns:
