Plot: When you’re in the military, you see things; do things, which can drive you crazy. When a group of newly trained soldiers are shipped into battle, they will be put to the test. Killing, stealing, torturing, and beating is not above them in the point of War. And when all hope seems to be lost they will truly be tested. When the general dies they all struggle for power and command, each of them wanting the same thing, to get the h*ll out of war zones. Some claim that that’d be a coward’s way out, and argue to stay, others simply don’t care. When tension heats up will they turn on each other? Or will they put aside their differences and make it home?

Rules: I hate these so much, but yeah…Here they are…
1.) No excessive swearing or sexual content, this is a kid’s site after all.
2.) Larger posts are encouraged 4+ sentence paragraphs are also encouraged
3.) Male characters are most wanted, no offence to the girl (being one myself) but girls don’t tend to ‘do’ to war. (No, I’m not being sexist, because I’m a girl as well.)

Details:
Date of shipment of the troops is 1965, Vietnamese War.
Any Anti-Communism troops are allowed, here is a list of the Anti-Communism countries in the Vietnamese war: South Vietnam, America, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Khmer Republic, Kingdom of Laos, and The Republic of China. Your character can be from any of those countries, but please have them speak English.
The general will Be Maxwell Taylor (1901-1987) historically he didn’t die during the Vietnamese War, but I’m going to have him die in this RP.
They will be fighting in the Battle of Ba Gia, it takes place in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam, the battle lasted 3 days and the Communists won. It was in May, the 28-31. After wards the Soviet Union will hunt for the remaining troops, thus forcing our troops to find shelter in the thick forests.

Name: Jonathan “Johnny” Pilgrim
Age: 21
Likes: Warm places, his father being proud of him, people who make an effort in being his friend, coffee, sleeping in, people paying attention to him, writing (though he doesn’t tell anyone, he keeps a journal) shooting things with his gun, throwing hand grenades, loud noises, and cars.
Dislikes: Being afraid, being cold, not getting any sleep, being told what to do, being told that he his a coward, cocky people, people accusing him before they even know him

Personality: Johnny is very laid-back and easy going. It isn’t hard for him to make friends, though in a perfect world people would just leave him alone. He doesn’t crave attention. But he doesn’t like being left out. He tends to lead people and not realize that he is being bossy. He loves the idea of having pride as he comes back from war. He wants his dad to be proud of him, well, anyone really. He is obsessed with writing down his emotions, though he isn’t a great writer and he written down thoughts are jumbled and hard to understand. He’s usually level headed and will take things in coolly, but when under pressure or afraid he tends to snap. He enjoys reading as well, but ever since the war he hasn’t been able to read so much. He loves car and repairing them.

Dreams: He always wanted to be an author, though he isn’t a very good writer. He also wanted to be an astronaut when he was younger, but then decided against it.
Background: Johnny was always a fighter, ask both of his parents and they’ll agree. He always had this…Extra…even from when he was 5 he was a good fighter. Just like any boy I suppose. Johnny had loved cars and has been working on them since he was around age 7. He was a total grease monkey and enjoyed the drag races that took place in the middle of the night. He always felt as if his father was never proud of him, never particularly doing well in school only lessened his confidence. Though his dad was proud of him, Johnny never believed him. Around his mid-teens he was more of the rebellious type, that’s about the time he met Ericka. Ericka was not a stereo typical girl of the 50’s. She wasn’t quiet and timid like most boys liked, no; she was loud and hard headed. Johnny instantly fell for the blond and they’ve been together since he was 17. When Johnny turned 18 he was drafted into the war, but didn’t go until he was 19. It took him 2 years in the military to actually get put into the war.

Name: Nicholas "Nick" Anderson

Age: 21

Likes: Vintage muscle cars, Girls, Guns, Motorcycles, Girls (lol), Country/Bluegrass Music, he loves anything to do with the country way of life. Looking like a hero. He likes getting on peoples' nerves, and not acting his age.

Dislikes: Not being able to nap, being forced to work, being called lazy (even though he is), being called a coward, not getting to look like a hero, and people who get on his nerves.

Personality: Flirty, obnoxious, hot-headed. Thinks he's charming and could win over any girl. Loves being seen as a hero, he thinks girls dig that. Very lazy, he's always in need of motivation, he dislikes working and would rather sit and relax or sleep. When it comes down to it he can be quick on his feet, but that's only in life or death situations. Nick is very good at taking credit (or blame) for things he didn't do, it's simply second nature to the handsome heart-breaker.

Background: Born and raised in Tennessee, Nick was your everyday southern boy. At eight years old he would run around with the local kids playing army. They'd use stick as guns and rocks as grenades. One day a pretty young girl came along and asked to join them. Since they were all boys they let her join but laughed at her... turned out she was just as tough as those mean little eight year old boys. Nick never got along with her, they always ended a game with an argument and at one time she gave Nick a bloody nose. As they got older they became more tolerant of each other. At the age of fifteen he actually fell for the girl, Lucy. They dated happily for two years, then Nick's parents died. He was sent to California, to live with his Aunt. The more he lived in the city and the older he got, the more interested in the army he became. He started training when he was eighteen, he met his stalker, Tommy Richardson, in training. Tommy actually became his best "frienemy". After three years of training, Nick sat with Tommy on a bench in front of a diner. Waiting for a bus that would take him to the base so he could get with his unit and depart. Tommy admitted that he 'liked' Nick, and that set the young soldier off. He nearly beat Tommy then stormed off into the diner they where in front of, where he sank into one of the booths, so he could watch for his bus alone. Nick noticed a young waitress watching him from across the diner. After a few moments she walked over, with a small smile on her face, and asked for his order. Nick snapped at her but she only started laughing at him, then she sat down and told him who she was. The waitress, Lucy Smith.... also the girl who had bloodied his nose when they where little kids, and his long lost love, he promised to write to her whenever he could.

Personality: Happy-go-lucky for the most part, but has his moments. Jace likes to try to keep things from getting too down in the dumps. People think he's obnoxious at times, but as soon as he notices their irritation, he tends to go chill in a corner and leave things be. He has a tendency to sing to himself while working, and most think he has a great voice, but as soon as he realizes that people notice him singing, he stops and hums as soon as their attention is away from him. He very rarely sings consciously in front of people, but when he does, he takes it rather seriously.

Dreams: Wanted to be a singer, but got tired of being called homosexual for liking to sing.
Background: Father died when he was a young boy, was raised by his mom. Was forever being beat up for being in choir in middle school, until he got suspended for putting one of his bullies in the hospital. Jace's mother wanted him to pursue his dream of being a singer, but Jace had had enough and begged his mom to put him in military school.

Personality: Is cool, tough, and a HUGE nerd, though you wouldn't know it at first glance. Mykal has the naturally awesome vibe to him, but there are quite a few people who find it annoying. He is smart, very logical, but not the best fighter. It takes alot to get him angry, which both help and hinders him in certain situations. Very quick witted, if Mykal does get in an argument, he has a razor sharp tongue.

Didn't have a single friend until the second grade when a girl named Chrystina,who thought that EVERYONE needed a friend, showed a kindness to him. They grew up together and are still like brother and sister. Met his fiance Ariel through Chrystina, and became attached to Ariel's kids, Avie(14,female), Scarlett(7,female), and Lucien(4,male), and fell in love with her.

Personality: Rambo is very quiet at times but when he does talk it is straight to the point. He never smiles no matter what happens while he is doing his job. He hates being told what to do and to do it exactly like that and he mostly just hates working side by side with someone. Being alone is what he likes to do and thats how it has always been. He is very careful not to make any noise.

Background:
John Rambo, having been tried, convicted, and sentenced to time at hard labor, is working in a labor camp prison when he gets a visit from his former commander, Colonel Sam Trautman. Trautman offers Rambo the chance to be released from prison after the events of the first film and given full clemency, but on condition of him going into Vietnam to search for American POWs. Rambo meets Marshal Murdock, an American bureaucrat who is in charge of the operation and he tells Rambo that the American public is demanding knowledge about the POWs and they want a trained commando to go in and search for them. Rambo is briefed that he is only to photograph the POWs and not to rescue them, nor is he to engage any enemy soldiers. Rambo reluctantly agrees and he is then told that an agent of the American government will be there to receive him in the jungles of Vietnam.

Rambo parachutes into the Vietnamese jungles, but loses most of his equipment in the process and is left only with his knives, his bow, and arrows. He meets the agent, a local woman named Co-Bao who wants to go to the United States, and who arranges for her and Rambo to go upstream with a group of river pirates. Rambo comes to the camp, and in contradiction to his briefing, he finds American prisoners there and rescues one of them from a makeshift crucifixion. Later at the camp, a patrol discovers a dead sentry whom Rambo eliminated with a throwing knife. In response, a large patrol goes out into the jungles in search of the (unknown to them) intruder. Rambo, Co and the American POW escape with the pirates, but are attacked by a Vietnam People's Navy gunboat and are promptly betrayed by the pirates, who fear the military's reprisals should they not cooperate; Rambo sends Co and the POW to safety and manages to destroy the gunboat with an RPG-7 and kill all the pirates. When Rambo calls for extraction, he is denied as Murdock fears what will happen to him and his party if the American public come to know about it.

Rambo and the American POW are recaptured. Rambo's wrists are bound to an oxen yoke and he is lowered exposed into a leech-infested cesspool (or possibly a pit dug especially for the purpose of torture). Later Rambo learns that the Soviet Army is aiding the Vietnamese and training them, and is tortured badly by a Soviet officer, Lt. Col. Podovsky and his silent, robust henchman Sergeant Yushin. Rambo is ordered to contact the American military and tell them that they should not send any more commandos for rescue operations in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Co enters the camp in the guise of a ********* and comes to the hut in which Rambo is held captive. Rambo agrees to Podovsky's condition, but instead threatens Murdock on the radio that he is "coming to get you." He then escapes from captivity into a nearby jungle with Co's help. Co then tends to Rambo's wounds and begins to implore him to take her to the United States. Rambo agrees and they kiss; however, they are then attacked by some Vietnamese soldiers and Co is killed. Rambo kills them all (except for their commander, who escapes, but is later killed by one of Rambo's exploding arrows) and then buries Co's body in the jungle.

Following his escape, the camp's Soviet and Vietnamese soldiers are sent to look for him. Rambo assembles his weapons, and using guerrilla warfare tactics, is able to kill a large number of enemy troops. He proceeds to a small enemy camp and destroys it and several vehicles with explosive arrows. He hijacks a UH-1N Twin Huey helicopter from the Soviets after killing Sergeant Yushin and proceeds towards the POW camp. He destroys most of the camp with the helicopter, then lands and arms himself with the M60 machine gun that is mounted on the Huey, kills the remaining soldiers, and rescues all the POWs. They get to the helicopter and head towards the American camp in Thailand. Lt. Col. Podovsky chases them in his Mil Mi-24 helicopter gunship. Although Rambo's helicopter is heavily damaged by Podovsky's helicopter, he manages to land his helicopter on a river, then fakes his death. When Podovsky comes near him and gets careless, Rambo fires a LAW at Podovsky's chopper, obliterating it.

Rambo then returns to the base and wrecks Murdock's command center. He threatens Murdock with a knife, challenging him to find and rescue the remaining American POWs in Vietnam. Trautman then comforts Rambo and tries to pacify him. An angry Rambo responds that he only wants his country to love its soldiers as much as its soldiers love it. As Rambo leaves, Trautman asks him, "How will you live, John?" To which Rambo replies, "Day by day." The film credits roll as Rambo walks off into the distance while his mentor watches him.
