When you watch the movie Balto it looks like Balto's fur is grey/brown and I always thought so first but then I started looking for pictures on the internet of the orginal Balto and he looked like he was black I started to thing so!

But Balto isn't Black or grey/brown his color his brown and white!

So what do you think should the people that made the movie have him brown like he is, grey/brown like he was in the movie or black (like I thought he was  )

If you want to see his right colour go here: http://images.fbrtech.com/albums/album02/100_0151.sized.jpg

Yes thats him I checked! ;)

There's a big difference between the character from the film and the real Balto : the real one is just a dog, while Balto from the film is half wolf...So the difference of colors and design comes from this.

The real one is brown but when I look at black and white pictures I always thought he was black grincolonp.gif

Also I like having him in the movie grey/brown but I just want to see what other people think! :D

In the first movie, he had shades of brownish. Then in the second movie he was greyish. Then he went back to a brownish. But then again, Wolf Quest had made many errors in their drawings.

Yes, I noted that too - in the first movie, he appears to be an even shade of brown with a tan-colored chest. But in a few screenshots I've seen, he loos like he's grey!! There are a few scene in B3 where he appears grey too.

Hew was always black and white, his black fur has faided over 72 years and now has a reddish tint to it.

Yeah they should have used the same color as they did in the first movie!

And Ac he would change grey not brown black doesnt go over to that kind of brown. he couldn't just sudently change color to so he had to be brown or more dark brown.

I think he is black and white in real life because I have seen him in colour in a photo and he was black,so I think that one might be fake.

Ac, I believe you have a sheet that Universal Studios actually used to tell what the real colors are that they used on the movie...
