When did you see the Balto movies for the first time? What age were you when you first saw it? Did you love it or hate it? Okay, so you can tell me and everyone else your story about how you found out about the Balto movies. If any of you have already done a topic like this just let me know, because I don't want to copy. ;3 Hope you guys have fun! ;D
ex: When I was very young (5 years old) I was obsessed with dogs and huskies. They were my life at the moment, and I would not stop loving them. I would actually go around barking at people like a dog, and crawling on the ground. Soon my aunt got me the Balto movies for my birthday, and I got really excited that it was about huskies. Once I watched the movie, I couldn't stop watching, so I watched it over and over. I told all of my friends about and wanted to play Balto with them all. I soon found Balto Source and loved all the art and things about Balto on it. I wanted to draw like the art in the movies so I started drawing, (which was really, really bad compared to know) and slowly got better. Know I’ve gotten older and became less interested in Balto. I still go on Balto Source because of the art and everything else, but I'm not as big of a fan of Balto anymore. My art though has improved in dogs, and I'll still keep drawing. Even though I've grown out of Balto some, I'll still love it because it's one of the biggest memories of my childhood.

Oh my, I don't remember exactly, it was soooo long ago. It was either 1998 (I learn towards 98) or 1999. Anyway, I would have been at the age of 4. I came across the movie when my cousin gave me a box of movies he no longer wanted. It must have been the first movie I pulled out of the box because I wanted to watch it, but I believe it was late and I wasn't allowed to that night. Soooo I don't know when it was when I did watch it. All I know is that I loved the movie back then. I still do. Well, maybe not as much as the, but you get the point.

I found it one day when I was watching Cartoon Network and it was on, and since I had nothing better to do I watched it and loved it ever since.

The first "real" time I ever saw the movies was last year, but I have a pretty interesting story for it. (If you hate reading skip down to the end for a brief explanation.) The first time I saw the first Balto was in 2000 when I was 4. Problem was I only saw it once or twice so I had almost no memory of it! (I could only remember two scenes from the whole movie!) Then when I was 6 I saw Balto 2 for the first time and I started watching it all the time when it came on Cartoon Network! (Being the little kid I was, I didn't really understand the story, but it somehow still became on of my favorite movies! ) I was into it for about a year, but as time progressed I lost all interest in Balto. Then 7 years later in 2010 I saw "Alpha and Omega" and I instantly got hooked on it! While I was browsing through the comments for the trailer on YouTube I saw a comment that said A&O had aspects of Balto in it. Amazingly after 7 long years of not watching it, the memories of Balto 2 all came back! I still knew about the first movie, but like I said earlier I had practically no recollection of it. After being on my mind for several days I decided to finally watch Balto and Balto 2 hoping to bring back some good memories and I figured if A&O did have aspects of Balto in it then maybe I'd like Balto too. After doing some searching I was able to find a place online where I was able to watch the first Balto and once I was finished with it I was just in awe! Finally I said to myself "Holy crap... That was AWESOME!!!!" The movie turned out to be WAY better than I thought! (It's now, without a doubt, my favorite movie!) After being amazed with the first one I was hoping the second one would be just as awesome, while at the same time bring many memories back. While it did bring memories back, after I was done with it I just kept saying to myself "That's it!?" It was good, but not as good as it seemed as a child. Now I never found out about Balto 3 when it came out, so when I searched for the two other movies on a movie website I'm a member of the third movie came up and I was extremely surprised! After watching Balto 2 I watched Balto 3 for the first time and I was pretty satisfied with it! To this day I still watch all three movies! All in all here's the quick summary: Balto - Vaguely seen in 2000, Officially seen in 2010 Balto 2 - Seen several times in 02 & 03, seen once again in 2010 Balto 3 - Seen in 2010

Man I can remember seeing the preview of the movie from 1995 on the TV in a ski resort. The only epic scene I remember was when the broken piece of ice flipping balto over into the water and I was awestruck half a year later I saw the movie and it was one of my top favortie animated movies ever. I saw the second one in 2007 and I didn't get to see the third one yet but i only saw a couple of scenes from it.

The story of how I found out about Balto isn't really an amazing one. I knew of the real story and what happened in Nome, Alaska 1925...But I never realised they'd made an animated movie of it. One day my mother took me out shopping and said that I could go look at the DvD section in Kmart while she went and did everything she needed to do. I browsed and became interested in quite a few titles there like "All Dogs Go To Heaven", "Snow Dogs", "Fluke" and "Spykids? (Cant remember, had something to do with spies)". After about twenty minutes mum came and found me, and we looked at the DvDs together. She suddenly calls me over and shows me "Balto + Balto: Wolf Quest" and says that I should get it. Now I was young, around four or five, and naturally wanted movies that had interesting covers. For some reason the cover of Balto didn't interest me and I began to complain, saying that I wanted Spy Kids instead. In the end we ended up buying the combo pack of "Balto + Balto Wolf Quest" and, with a sigh of defeat, went home and began to watch Balto. I was so sucked into it, I didn't stop watching it until the very last of the credits had rolled. That very day it became my favourite animated Universal Studios movie.
Almost straight afterwards I watched the sequel. I have to admit, it was good...But it wasn't as good as I had expected. It could have been a bit better if you ask me. I am now thirteen, and to this very day I enjoy the Balto movies.

Well I remember watching it when I was a kid... I'm not sure exactly how. But when I began getting into the AMV community on Youtube, I started remembering it and wanting to see it again. And vuala, I went to Blockbuster, got the movie, watched it again, and have renewed my love for it ever since.

It was December 1998. It was a day after the last day of school before break. Not to mention, the weather outside was full of snow, on time for Christmas. It was hours before we had to go to a Christmas pageant. This show showed up on YTV and we were instantly hooked. Cartoons was so lovable then we'd see anything animated. This one was way too special.
