So I was watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, and this great idea hit me. If you have seen or watched Harry Potter, this role-play may make more sense. This role-play will be placed in the world of Harry Potter, but no characters from the books well are this role-play. Only characters you make up. This role-play is based off of the 6th book of Harry Potter, were 6-8 sixteen year olds don’t go to Hogwarts (the school for witch’s and wizards) this year because Death Eater’s and Snatchers (the villain’s) have taken over the school. These teens run off living as outcasts, but they risk running into Death Eaters and Snatchers, and if captured they’d be taken to the Ministry of Magic and would be killed.


Where:

Somewhere outside of London and at the moment there going to be in a forest during the early fall. They will also go to other places to get away from Death Eaters and Snatchers, like the city, meadows, near rivers, farms, and etc. The year at the moment is 1997 in the early fall.



Rules:


No cursing unless you use ***’s

No sexual things aloud (Kissing, hugging, flirting, and hugging are aloud though) Just keep it in between PG and PG-13.

Follow the AS rules

No pet’s aloud for your character

No killing any Death Eaters, Snatchers, or other enemies unless you ask me first.

All characters are made up and not from the series, but your character can mention the name of a character from the book (ex: “On the radio I just heard that Harry Potter was sighted at the Ministry of Magic”)

Please don’t comment if you’re against witch craft and all that stuff

At the moment this is in between an advanced role-play and a normal one. So try to keep a least one paragraph or even more.
If you haven’t seen or read the Harry Potter books, it would be nice if you didn’t join. If you haven’t, it may get really confusing for you. You can join if you want, but just let me know if you don’t know much about Harry Potter.

No double posting unless an emergency.

Characters must have some type of British accent if possible.

If you join try to keep up with the role-play, and just tell me if your banned or can’t be on the computer for some time.

You may have up to two characters only, and no more than that.

Notes for Teens:


Please try not to join if you haven't seen the last two movies or read the 7th book of Harry Potter. It would be pretty confusing for you if you didn't. If you have read the books, please join because not everyone here has read Harry Potter, and there may be no one to join this role-play.

Just remember there's no characters from the books in this RP useless you mention their names.

When your characters talks about non wizard people you must say Muggles

If your character mentions the name Voldemort, Death Eaters/Snatchers will come and attack so try to keep your character saying You-Know-Who.

Not every character can be a Quiddetch player by the way. So if you really don't care or know much about Quiddetch, don't make your character be one. They can have skills with brooms but not every character can be on a team. If your character is on the team please put what place he plays (Seeker, Beater, Keeper, or Chaser. If you don’t know what these are, look it up. ;3)

Also not every character can be in Gryffindor. Here's the list of houses:

Ravenclaw: Intelligent, wit, studious
Hufflepuff: Hard working, loyal, honest, kind
Gryffindor: Courage, pride, chivalry
Slytherin: Ambition, Cunning, Resourcefulness

So which ever traits of these houses fit your character, I would put them in the house that fits your character best.



Notes for Death Eaters/Snatchers:

You may not base them off characters from the book.

They must have a dark personality, and are not afraid to use the unforgettable curses (Curcio (tortures in pain), Imperio (controls mind), and Avada Kedabra (kills).)

If you want to kill your Death Eater/Snatcher that’s fine with me but you can’t kill other characters without permission from the one that owns it.

Personality: Luke's that kind of guy that always up for any adventure. He hates being board or when he doesn’t have anyone to talk to. Luke loves getting into trouble, and he always got in trouble by sneaking around Hogwarts at night, when he's not exposed to be. Around people he doesn't really know at first he acts shy and doesn't talk as much around those people. But once Luke gets to know them, he's the complete opposite of being shy. Many people like him for his bravery and funny personality, but not many Slytherine's like him at all. Luke would always be getting in fights with them whenever they picked on him or some other kid that didn't do anything wrong. Luke's not afraid to get in trouble when it comes to helping a friend. To many Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's they think of Luke like a hero. And Luke himself does act like a great leader. He was the one to always come up with plans for most things. Luke also has a very sweet side to him. He's very kind and gentle, expressly around girls. Luke is very romantic and can almost always make a girl laugh and fall in love with him. But not all girls love him, and that makes him more anxious to make those few like him. Luke will also always take a dare and no wonder he was put in Gryffindor. He'll not stop tell the job is done, and even if it's super difficult. Luke can't stand seeing people give up or him himself. He just really stubborn and when he's hurt, he always says he fine even though he's not. It makes him so angry to see people give up. He's always trying to cheer them on and make them finish tell the end. This makes Luke a great friend for anyone.

Background: Luke was born on the outskirts of London with his little sister that is five years younger than him. Luke's mother is full wizard while his father was a half-blood. So he knows closer to being Pure-Blood. But his father has always been interested in Muggles (humans to wizards) and love taking Luke and his sister, Avery, down into London to show them around. Luke has learned much about Muggles before he entered Hogwarts because of his father. He too thought Muggles were very interesting. Luke's parents had decided by living on the outside of town so there would be less of a chance of someone finding out they were wizards. Luke's family lives on a big farm with woods all over, which Luke loved to explore before he went to Hogwarts. There also much land for him to practice Quiddetch. (Wizard sport on broom sticks) Luke found out in his third year he was built to be a great Keeper for Quiddetch. He very fast on his broom, and is built like a Quiddetch player. He's not the captain of the Quiddetch team but he'd be second in charge. One of his best friends is the captain of the Gryffindor team. Luke does own a Nimbus 2001, which isn't the fasted broom but its fast enough. When Luke went to his first year at Hogwarts, with his calico cat named Tatiana, he first thought he'd be put in Hufflepuff. His father was in Hufflepuff and his mother was a Gryffindor. He at first thought he'd be put in Hufflepuff because of his kind hearted soul and slight bit of shyness, but still was put in Gryffindor instead. Gryffindor made Luke proud that he was chosen to be in it, and he acted much braver than he already was. Luke has always aced charms class, but he thinks Defense against the Dark Arts were more fun though. Luke also did make the Quidditch team in his third year as Keeper of Gryffindor.

Soon the life outside of Hogwarts was getting worse. Death Eaters were taking over who were ruled by Voldemort. The Ministry of Magic was taken over, and in just two days, Luke's father was executed due to him being a Half-Blood who worked about outside of the Ministry with some Muggles. Luke got very depressed after that and hated anything to do with Death Eaters. Luke knew they'd be coming to Hogwarts next. So Luke decided to get a few friends that didn't want to be at Hogwarts under the Death Eaters command to go live as outcasts in the world beyond. Luke didn't want to tell his mother that he was doing this so he pretended to pack his trunk and head to the train that takes him to Hogwarts. But instead of going to Hogwarts he meets up in the city of London at some park to find this friends waiting to start the journey.

Personality/ Background: Fain was made to be a Death Eater. He’s always been that evil like type of child when he was young. So once he heard that Voldemort was back, he immediately joined the army of Death Eaters. He wanted to make his Lord proud so he did things evil and offered to do mission’s for him. But the problem was he always failed. He didn’t why, but he always did. This made Voldemort angry and made him a lower rank than he was before. Voldemort assigned him to find any muggles and wizards that are breaking the law, and to capture them and take them to the Ministry. Fain was disappointed he had to do this job, but he works hard to capture those people that have run away, so he can be more powerful.

Picture/Description: Fain is a very pale and man and skinny, but is very strong and light on his feet. He’s also a quick thinker. He has dark brown eyes, with dark brown hair. He’s also very tall and narrow. Fain always were black cloths, with long sleeves and pants. He always wears a black cloak too. Fain also never smiled in a long time, unless it was a smirk or an evil grin.

Background: She was born in London, an only child. Zara attended a normal school, where she achieved straight A's until she received her letter for Hogwarts on her 11th birthday and her witch mother told her the truth. When she got to Hogwarts she was placed in Ravenclaw, which she expected and she was pleased she was.

Personality: Bradmir is one of the dark lord's most trusted Death Eaters, but is sometimes seen as an annoyance...Much like Bellatrix LeStrange. He is always praising Lord Voldemort's deeds, ideas, plans and successes and is constantly around to be assigned to another job. Although he tries hard to stay in the dark lord's good books, to anyone else he is just plain flat out rude and just doesn't give a darn who he hurts be it physical or emotional. He is one of those guys that tries to put up a real big tough-guy image and be badass. Whenever he fails he covers up his own mistakes and blames it on others to save his own hide. To put it short he is heartless, cruel, a suck-up and a liar.
Background: Bradmir had a rough childhood. He was often picked on in school and his parents preferred his brother over him. His brother was popular with both their parents and their Slytherin housemates, and this made Bradmir jealous. One night he had finally had enough and killed his brother using the killing curse Avada Kadavra. His parents and peers saw him as a monster, and when the dementors came to take him to Azkaban (the prison for evil and/or insane witches and wizards) he used his patronus (a cobra) to ward them off and escape. For a long time he lived on the run, and when he heard Voldemort was back he finally came out of hiding and became a Death Eater.
Picture/Description: Bradmir is tall with slightly tanned skin and a strong/muscular appearance. He has green eyes and light sandy brown hair. He wears all black clothing apart from his red shirt, and over it all he wears the typical Death Eater black robe/cloak.

Personality: Rather quiet and thoughtful, she's pretty much the opposite of any other Slytherin you'll meet. Others are more snobby and stuck up, and some are plain evil. Maya, however, is actually fairly kind and generous. She is loyal to her friends, but those she doesn't know...watch out. She can easily become aggressive, as she's pretty much waiting for anyone to judge her. Handy with a wand, she isn't someone you want on your bad side. Despite her faults, she does make a fairly decent friend.
Background: Her whole family was Slytherin, and her older brother is a Death Eater as well. Her parents often tried to make her more cold and uncaring, but something in Maya kept her from becoming that way. She was expected sever chastisement and disappointment/anger from her parents when she wouldn't get into Slytherin, but despite her unique disposition, she made it into the House so reputable for having evil wizards and witches. But despite this, she still doesn't feel like she fits in. She finds herself getting along better with those from different Houses, and is kind of the "outcast" in Slytherin.
Description/Picture: She has dark hair, a dominant trait in her family. But unlike the rest of her family's icy, harsh blue eyes, she has softer, warmer green eyes. She has a soft spray of freckles on her nose, and often dresses as inconspicious as possible, struggling to blend and fit in. She is a bit on the short side, with a thin, light build.
Accessories: She wears a ring, a thin, silver band with a tiny ruby set inside.
Likes: Her friends, being a part of a group, snow, butterbeer, good grades, making her parents proud.
Dislikes: Being alone, being excluded, the heat, having her parents disappointed/angry at her, failure, being teased.

Personality: Max is a very elusive type boy. He isn’t one who you’d joke with or mess around with. He doesn’t have a problem with showing his anger, but keeps all other emotions bottled up. His passion for Astronomy started before he was aware of his Wizard heritage. At age 9 he was always rambling on of the starts and moon. His deep fascination with constellations allows him to thrive in that class. Max doesn’t much care for talking, and is more of the observant person, though he will respond when spoken too…Usually. He can come off as a loner, but does have a few friends that tolerate his lack of interest in them. He enjoys being creative, and likes art. The idea of You-Know-Who surprisingly doesn’t scare him in the slightest, though he is far from cocky. He doesn’t grasp the huge panic of the 3 Unforgivable curses. He fails at transfiguration, though he enjoys charms. Max would love to be on the Quidditch team, but doesn’t have to courage to actually try out. So he usually remains on the side-lines, most of the time cheering wildly. He is much like a Slytherin, in the sense that cunning and resourceful, but he is far from ambitious. He is also intelligent and a quick thinker, making him Ravenclaw material. He was rather surprised when he was named a Ravenclaw. He doesn’t have a problem with leaving his friends and saving himself.
Background: Max was born in London. His father was a Muggle, so he is very interested in them. Thouhg he never treated Muggles as if they were lower than him, just a tad more ignorant. His mother, a Pure-Blood, never told Max about him lineage. She wanted him to think he was normal, at least for as long as he could. When he got the letter he was confused and scared, but his mother insisted he’d go. Max was one of the few who didn’t like Hogwarts. All the people, things, magic, scared him. His only escape was the stars, the only thing that kept him connected to the Muggle world. Max then became more absorbed in looking up at the sky than his books and the faces around him. He didn’t notice when all of the Death-Eaters came at first, but soon ran away.

Personality: Quick in her actions and passionate about things she does, she's a truely energetic spirit. Quick thinking, optimistic and just a little bit immature, Ana has a habit of laughing at the wrong time in the wrong places. She is quick to spot because of the way she acts around her friends - talkative and loud. Having to sit still is a torture for her. She needs a lot of entertainment and she gets bored easily.She's extremely curious and needs to know everything around her. She has a cheerful, childishly playful personality. Despite being 17, she's 10 at heart. Though hard to anger, she's definitely precise and quick when angered, knowing exactly what to say to make a person upset. She loves being with her friends, but she is a little quieter when in the presence of people she does not know - she could even look a little bit shy. She has an offensive sense of humour and might accidentally hurt people. She's a tough gal, and insults do not get her. Betrayals hurt more, but she can handle it. She's a tough girl. Ana is rather manipulative and cowardly at times, but she does not mean to hurt anyone. She just sometimes forgets that others have feelings too.
Background: Her mother was a witch and her father was a muggle. He did not know she was a witch, and they had a kid - Ana. It was terrifying for the father when he found out the secret of his daughter and his wife, he divorced Ana's mother and never they never saw him again. Ana, though a little bit sad about this whole thing, was quick to get back on her feet and continue enjoying life. She went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin due to her ambitious, manipulating nature. But she never actually fit in with the rest of Slytherin - they were purposely mean, they were bullies, except for two or three people who were actually nice. Soon, Ana discovered that Death Eaters began taking over the Ministry of Magic, and she knew that Hogwarts soon would be in their hands and escaped.

Luke Johnson rolled over in his bed early in the morning. Today was going to be a big day for him. September 1... Today is the day to be going to Hogwarts, his school. But this year it was going to be very different. He wasn't happy, going off the Hogwarts express to find his friends and start a new year at Hogwarts, like he should be. The reason is it's been taken over... by Death Eaters. Just hearing the name made him mad. Luke Johnson wasn't going to Hogwarts this year. Instead he was going to go into hiding. The alarm clock beeped at 5:00 and he got up and got dressed quickly. He grabbed his wallet that had everything he needed and for his friends and then put it in his back pocket. He grabbed in 10 in wand from his bedside table. He reached out of a photo frame but paused. It was of his father and him just before his death. Luke choked back a sob looking up trying to blink back the tears. He quickly put it in his wallet wear everything was stored by the charm he put on it. His father died just a month ago when the Ministry of Magic was taken over. He was killed due to him being a muggle and working in the Ministry. Luke grabbed a note from under his pillow and put it on top of his pillow, to tell his mother he was running off with a group of kids that decided not to go to Hogwarts this year due to the Death Eaters running it now. He sighed quietly and looked at his pet cat that slept at the end of the bed. He smiled; this was the cat he got before he ever got to Hogwarts. Luke starched Tatiana behind the ears whose eyes blinked open. "See ya," he whispered and left his room, not sure if he'd come back. He snuck down the hall and stopped by his mother’s closed door and could hear her faint snores. He smiled slightly and soon was out the door and walking toward the park where he was going to meet the others.

Maya, her stomach knotted with nerves, had rose with the sun. Glancing at her clock, as she had done every five minutes for hours now, she noticed, with relief, it was five o'clock. A Slytherin, she probably had nothing to fear from the Death Eaters; in fact, she would be welcome among them. But her friends were leaving, and due to her loyal nature, she would have to accomany them, no matter the consequences.

Probably the only Slytherin who would ever defy You-Know-Who, Maya couldn't help but question her decision again. Her doubts were soon replaced by hard determination; she had seen the death that he had caused. She had to defy him somehow, show that she wasn't about to participate in this madness. Already dressed, she grabbed the rucksack she had stuffed full of essentials. Her owl gave a soft hoot behind her.

"I know," she murmured. "I wish I could bring you, too." But dragging along an owl would be difficult and could prove fatal, however unlikely it seemed. "Don't worry, Mom and Dad'll feed you," she added, though she slid a few owl treats in between the bars just in case. Her gaze lingered on the room, then finally she turned and left, slipping out of her room and down the stairs.

Her parents still asleep, Maya was safe to leave. Cautiously opening the front door, she winced at the slight creak the hinges made. Slowly, carefully, she slid out into the weak morning sunlight, the brisk breeze sweeping the small strands of hair away from her face. Refusing to glance back, knowing that would only make it harder to leave, she set off for the park.

A redhead girl slept silently on her bed. It wasn't particulary comfortable due to her mother being more or less poor, but she was used to it by now. However, a sudden beeping sound fought it's way into her extremely bizarre dream and she woke up. She stretched and yawned in such a nonchalant and carefree manner, it seemed like today will be a simple day, not special or stressful in the slightest. The redhead's mind was already filled with thoughts, and she clearly understood today was going to be a very different day.

Usually, this time of the year she goes back to Hogwarts. An opportunity to meet so many friends and just to enjoy time. While also studying hard. Studying should never be forgotten. But this year the girl will not have the pleasure. This year, she'll need to hide. This year Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry has been taken over by death eaters and the girl really didn't want to meet up with them. Though a slytherin, she despised them and their ideals, finding them rather foolish for being such puppets to You-Know-Who. She didn't want to be one of them.

I'm going to break the fourth wall and inform you of her name - it was Ana. Ana Ashteal, to be exact. She rolled out of her bed in a quick motion and almost instantly began dressing up. When she was done Ana grabbed her purse, double-checked if she was completely ready, and hurried right away through the doors, without a single thought of doubt lingering in her mind. She felt slightly guilty for not saying goodbye to anyone, but she needed to get it over with.

Ana paced herself quickly. Why, she didn't know. It was probably due to her enjoyment of a fast pace of life and a little bit of danger here and there. Basically - it was a habit. The sunlight was still faint and Ana realized it's not going to be easy to see. Her common sense won over her, for once, and she stopped rushing so much. Obviously, there's no reason to hurry. She'll get to her destination just in time - or her friends will just wait for her.
