This is an rp for my OC Hulda Yaromirova Kretchski. She's new here, so we'll see if she can make any friends. She's half Havowart (a German breed) and half Borzoi (A Russian breed). She comes from Germany, but speaks a mixture of both languages, sometimes mixing them with English. She has a primarily German accent with a few hints of broken English and traces of Russian inflections.

The neighborhood was certainly different here. So far, just about everything was different here than it was in her home country. And, of course, Hulda had no troubles when it came to voicing her opinion, even when there was nary a dog nor any other creature around to hear her words.

"Ah... Efen ze smells are deeverent hier..." She whispered, head tilting slightly as she sniffed at the ground. Well, then again, smelling was most certainly not her forte. Licking her chops, ground thin and pounded into a slim muzzle by genetics alone, she turned soulful amber eyes towards the sky, seeking some semblance of normalcy in a world turned topsy-turvy by a move across the Atlantics. Honestly, the young mix had never thought of such a place beyond her country's borders, though her parents had informed her in every way and travel from Germany, her own native home, and her father's far country of Russia.

"Not efen of gut smell..." Turning her nose down, the oddly heavy-set female bore her own burden down the main steps of the home, before heading down the yard and past the gate. They had certainly made for a new world out here. In Germany, they never would have lived in a place like this. But, eh, she supposed there was nothing to complain about. She'd seen dog after dog, prancing around with some odd thing around their neck, praising it like it had given birth to them in place of their mother; in all honesty, the Hova-zoi, as she was called affectionately by her current owners (her mother's people's pup and his mate), didn't seem to understand why they were so important.

Sure, a collar was a nice thing to have, a license seemed to be all there was in this world. Where she came from, dogs came when they were called regardless of the wrapping about their neck, and if they truly wanted a treat the best trick they could do was keep their master warm, fed, and comfortable. To her, they were more pets to her than she was to them. Hulda may as well have been the one at the can opener.

Sending a haunting, low how into the neighborhood, she thirsted for contact with one of these strange new neighbors, wondering if they would be fearful of her thin legs, heavy body, long hair, and unusual colors. Black mainly overwrought her coat, with a 'strawberry blonde' tone to it around her muzzle, legs, and chest, in places. Her long tail was even lightly dotted with the same rich color, and her back seemed to be lightly dabbed with it as well, leaving the two-toned coat a wavy mess; not quite true to the only acceptable colors of a Hovawart, and not exactly similar to a true Merle coloring, either. With all of this in mind, it didn't stop her from being incredibly lonely. So, with nothing left to do, another howl was given, this one slightly more desperate.

Around the corner, a small, tanish colored puppy trotted down the street. In his mouth he held a large bone that he had stolen from some strays eariler that day. The puppy's long brown and white ears flopped down into his face as the hopped down the sidewalk toward an alleyway where he placed the bone down and prepared to start gnawing on it....but was interupted by a low howl. After the cry ended the pyppy began to gnaw on the bone again, then another howl echoed through the air. The puppy stood up and angerily trotted around a nearby corner to see where the howl came from. Spotting a shaggy looking dog, the puppy said, "What 'cha howlin' for, huh?"

A young one, far smaller than her impressive height, came up to her, she noticed, after hearing a small voice that barely registered with her own deep one. Smiling slightly, though it looked a tad creepy on her face, she leaned down and looked at him with a slight tilt of her head.

"Ah, hallo, leettle vone. I am new hier, und I do not heif any vriends, yet. I veegured et dvorks en old country, vhy not hier?" Trying incredibly hard to keep her language the same, and use as many English words as she could to sound as normal as possible, the elder dog shook her heavy coat, wiggling slightly in place and letting all four paws dance off the concrete below her.
