Time Is Running Out...

Introduction

This role play is created for the Halloween season and will contain some horror themes such as witcraft, ghosts, demons, and the like. If this type of material bothers you in any way, there is no need for you to read any further. As for those who like the idea of a thriller role play, I hope to make this an awesome story!

Plot

The night before Halloween, the teens of Cresent High throw a party in the center of Hallow Woods, the small local forest that surrounds their town. One girl and her friends wonder away from the festivities and come upon what appears to be an abondoned mine shaft. An old wooden sign guards the entrance with words of a strange language. But for some reason she can't explain, Sophie can read it. It is a warning about the inside of the mine, demanding no one open the door within. Curious, Sophie and her friends ignore the sign and venture inside the shaft to find the mysterious door. And the open it...

A gust of wind thrusts them all away, pushing them to the dirty floor. A faint laughter is heard whispered in the air but is gone within a moment. The teens finally look back at the door and realized it is sealed shut, as if they had never opened it. Completely freaked out now, the group rushes to return to the party.

All is not well for them, though. Sophie begins to see people that aren't there and hear voices no one else hears. Scared, she finally turns to her older half-sister, Emma. She has been experimenting with the Wicca religion and may have the answers. When they discover she has been seeing and hearing things too, they know something is wrong. They also learn that stange things have been happening to Sophie's friends too.

A ghost finally reveals him/herself to the sisters, explaining that there were spirits trapped in the mine, some good and some evil. A witch had locked all them in there one hundred years ago, and she is the sisters' ancestor, which is why they can see and hear the spirits. The ghost begs them to find a way to lock away the evil spirits again before midnight that night. If not, they could gain power and destroy all of humanity.

Setting

A medium-sized town somewhere in the USA
Modern Times
This will only take place in one day (Sunday night around midnight to Monday night around or a little after midnight)

Rules

Although this roleplay isn't advanced, I would like a good size post from everyone; a paragraph would be nice, but I understand if you can only get a few sentence; no one-liners! I will dismiss you from this roleplay if you constantly post one line posts.
I am not asking for a roleplay example, but I will look at other roleplays you are in; if you are not in any other roleplays, then I will ask for an example.
Please be willing to take on more than one character.

Notes

This spirits can be good or bad, but most of them will be more on the evil side.
The ghosts have certain though limited powers.
They can manipulate physical objects, but this requires much concentration.
Their most dangerous power is possesion, where they take over the body of a living human and have full control of the body. The living human's mind can shove the ghost back out of their mind if they are strong enough. I will allow anyone playing a ghost to take over the body of an unaware human at anytime to any character, but the person who is playing as the human can "fight off" the ghost and force it away. Please do not let this element of the roleplay upset anyone or cause any arguments.
They can also possess animals which is easier to do and easier to stay.
Sophie and Emma are decended from witches, so they have the power to read the Anglo Saxon language, say spells, and communicate with the spirits. The other humans cannot do any of this, but they can help in the making of potions and properly doing a spell's ritual if more than the two sisters are need.

Personality: Emma is very rebellious because she is not happy with the new marriage. (explained more in history) She doesn't think her parents should be together, so she turned to a new religion hoping to find some kind of "anti-love spell." Without having any luck with this, Emma enjoys making her parents life as horrible as possible and refusing to get along with her seemingly perfect sister, Sophie. She is slightly jealous that Sophie has so many friends and is considered 'popular' at their school because Emma never really had friends until she entered the gothic world. Around her still new friends, Emma is calm and relaxed and even funny. But she does have a short fuse and can go off on someone without a warning. She has many pent up issues and anger that will be sure to explode during this story.
History: Emma's parents had her when they were still in high school, and after a series of events, Emma's father gained custody of her. Her mother graduated high school and college, met a guy and married him and had a child before graduating college, and found a good job while her father got a job right after highschool and focused his time around Emma. Because of this, Emma grew up with very little money and very little friends. She caused many fights during her gradeschool years, but she was always an angel for her dad. Things changed when Emma's mother came back into their lives with a recent divorce and a daughter her was only a year younger than Emma. Her mother and father fell back in love almost instantly, and thats when Emma turned to The Craft to tear them aprat. Nothing worked. Instead, she goes against everything her mother tells her to do, torments her younger sister, and even disobeys her father.

Personality: Dezz is confident and comfortable with herself and who she is. Despite her black wardrobe, she is anything but depressed. Dezz seems to always be happy and content, and she is the buffer when one of her friends gets mad or upset. She is a great listener and advice-giver. She tries to take care of her friends and has a strangely motherly era about her. Although she is a tad jealous of Emma and Sophie's powers, she never shows it and wants to guide them.
History: Dezz grew up with a Wiccan single mother, so this world is not new to her. She knows most anything about Wicca and The Craft, which makes her a great insight to the ghost situation.

Jason is also a big flirt, and his friends have gotten used to it. He has hidden bravery and courage that he's never really had to use before. He is loyal to his friends and cares for people deeply.
History: Jason has a pretty normal life, though a little pressured to be the best by his parents. He is very smart so good grades come pretty easy to him, and he is on the way to being captain of the football team next year. Too most people, he does seem pretty much perfect, which is an advantage and a disadvantage all at the same time.

Personality: Felicity is joyous in her new freedom and her trouble-making habits have her causing all sorts of mischeif. She is very fun-loving and giggling, but her humor is very dark. She always holds grudges and never backs down from a challenge.
History: Felicity was married at a very young age to a rich, older man, and she was killed by her jealous, older sister who had been in love with the man. As a new ghost, she haunted her sister, chasing away every man in her life until she died as an old, lonely woman. After that day, Fee focused her still firey rage at happy couples. She always chose an animal to possess and would continue to control it unilt it died. She used the animals for her creulity towards humans. She did this for almost one hundred years until a witch trapped her in that mine shaft in the early 1900s. When she is released, she leaves the teens alone until they try to put her back. Then, they get on her bad side and she hates them.
