DOG News: Story at ten


Note: Some dogs are watching the news in Anchorage, Alaska.


Year: 1927

Hear the story of a dog accused of murder and the seven-day forecast for this week. Details tonight at ten.


News caster: Hello everybody this is Chelsea Fonts here reporting for D-O-G news at 10.
I am here in Nome, Alaska with a story of a dog accused of a crime that he might not have committed.
In an alley way, there was found a dead golden retriever/husky mix. The witness, Mr. Dogg apparently saw Balto at the scene. He claims that he saw Balto with blood all over his mouth and was standing over the victim. He also stated that Balto is a killer and mothers should keep their pups in close view when playing outside.
One month ago the suspect, Balto was banished from the town.
Here is Jenna, Balto’s mate now to say a few words;
*Microphones and camera people from all channels flock around Jenna*
Jenna: “Balto was exiled from Nome after a crime he supposedly committed yesterday. I really believe that Balto wasn’t the murderer and
Someone else killed the dog. It could also have been an accident.”
News caster: The judge is in the boiler room now listening to the story. We will find out what happens after this quick break.

*Commercials appear*

Dog#1: Awe, that poor dog, I don’t think he did it at all!”
Dog #2: Well you don’t know. I personally believe that Balto could’ve done it because of his wolf heritage.
Dog#3: How can you just assume that?! You must not really know Balto. He is the nicest dog in the town! Maybe even the world!
Dog #2: Oh brother, exaggerating again are you? Who knows if the dog got rabies! Or if he just suddenly turned on the dog! Ok, I don’t know, but that is just my opinion. Is that so bad??
Dog #1: SHHH!! It’s back on!

*Turns up the TV*

News caster: We are back and the judge has made his final decision.
*People flock around Judge as he is coming out of the boiler room*
Judge: “I really believe Balto is innocent, but I don’t have all the information I need. I am going to talk to Steele.”
News caster: We are following the judge out to Steele’s house to see what he has to say.
*Everybody follows Judge*

Dog #1: Why are they going to Steele? We all know he doesn’t like Balto, so he probably will lie!
Dog#2: Well, we don’t really know much information do we? Steele is a good source.
Dog#1: Yea but still. Those camera dudes are annoying! Get out of the way!!!
Dog#2: Well this wouldn’t be on TV if they weren’t there.
Dog#1: Good point.


Judge: Steele, I need information about the murder, I trust you will help?”
Steele: Yea I guess.
Judge: Do you know anything about the murder?
Steele: No, but the facts are right in front of you. Balto in the scene, blood all over his mouth, and a dead dog in the alley with him standing over it. Put the facts together and it directly points at Balto!”
Judge: I see, but what if Balto was just sniffing the dog?”
Steele: Well… I don’t know. Facts are facts!
Judge: Hmmm. Well you didn’t answer my first question very much. So what do you know about the murder?
Steele: Well, I recall being out the day it happened… it was December 2nd right?
Judge: Yes
Steele: Right, well I was walking out to the boiler room to chat you see, then all of a sudden a smell of blood filled the air.
I looked around and tried to follow where it came from, then saw Rex Dogg standing by the alley.
There was a shocked look on his face. He said something then ran away. I went to see what he was looking at, and I saw a bloody dog laying on some old newspaper dead. I saw what looked like Balto running out the other way of the alley.
That’s just about all I remember.
Judge: Thank you Steele. I will keep in contact.


News caster: We will be back after these announcements.


Dog#1: So many commercials!
Dog#2: I know I want to see the rest so I can go to bed!
Our humans might wake up for something too.
Dog#1: *yawwwnn* “You said it!
Dog#3: Well, I think I have my theory.
Dog#2: Oh? About what?
Dog#3: About how this is going to turn out.
Dog#2: Ohhhhh Really???
Dog#1: Don’t get started.

Well...Too Futurist from the Cameras thinking that TV wasn't inventured then even Video Cameras weren't invented on 1927, on that time was only Radio, books and toys how to spend time mostly it's only up from TV or from the PC PS what ever.

I think it would be better, IF there is few dogs what are making 'gossips' with that way and giving information for others, as their own style, seeing funnier and interesting by that way or something like that

Balto as the (framed) bad guy seems to be a common, and captivating plot of many fanfictions.
I look forward to more. Don't give up!!

nääh its ok. when I wrote fanfics I tried to get information for stuff what was on WW1 and near those years, depends what kind of fanfic it is really but mostly keep it up, leaving on one place could discourage you...
