Friday the lion king in 3D starts omg yay I'm soooooooo excited!!!!^^ can't wait to get my tickets! I'm going to go right now in fact.

Here in Italy it comes out on theatres the 11th November but I'm totally going to see it C: I know I already have it on DVD and I know everything about it but, when it was on the cinemas in 1994 I was only one year old and I couldn't see it but now, I really want to C: I'm curious to see how the 3D will make it.

The 3-D effects in The Lion King definitely make it worth viewing,I can assure you,that you won't be disappointed. XD

A pity that you have to wait until November for it. :)

I saw the 3D theatrical release and it was marvellous and went to prove that, indeed, The Lion King will always reside within Disney's "pantheon of classics" for all eternity. However, the only issue that irked me (and still does) was the fact that the vibrant colours were dimmed down as a result of the 3D layer! I mean like, did they really believe that we'd see this just classic just because it was in smashing 3D? Certainly there many people who would shell out money for the release regardless of whether it was 3D or not.

I love the film (don't get me wrong), but just not the 3D-ness of it. :roll:
