I'm sorry, I have to post on this. I don't usually rant, but the matter of signatures in roleplays is anooying the crap out of me.

Why do you have to un-check the box every singly flippin' time just so your signature doesn't pop up in your post? It wasn't like that not too long ago. I'm just wondered what the heck happened. Signatures are highly distracting to me when it comes to roleplays, and I'm sure that they must be somewhat distracting to a few other people as well.

Having to un-check the box every single time you post in a roleplay is really, really annoying, not to mention the fact that I have horrible memory as well. Can someone please fix this, so where we don't have to un-check the box when posting?

You could always just disable signatures in the control panel for now.

In theory, the roleplay sections should automatically disabled. However, you can adjust it from the UCP.

I was actually about to post something on this. I agree on what you're saying. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm an extremely forgetful person. And I hate having to go back and edit my posts in a roleplay just so the signature doesn't show. I just want the signature to not appear in the roleplay sections. Didn't it used to have them turned off automatically? What happened...?

I wouldn't like having to turn it off completely because then... what's the point of having a signature in the first place? x3 I wish there was a way to set it so that it turns off only in the roleplay sections.

I forgot to mention the point that people would like to be able to show their signature, just not in the roleplay section. Thanks for bringing that up as well, Moki.

While yes, I always could just disable it completely, I really like my signature, and I would like it to be at the ned of my posts outside of roleplays.

It's entirely up to the author of the roleplay topic to check off if signatures can be shown or should stay hidden. I do think it would be nice to have an option not to have signatures for roleplays there, however. Even if I'm no longer an active roleplayer here anymore. The majority I see anywhere on the internet prefer to roleplay without signatures on forums.

I will ask Steet to disable signatures in ALL roleplay sections.

Like Conay said, it -was- auto disabled in the roleplay forums. O.o
Not sure what happened to that.

Either it got messed up when those trolls were screwing with things or it was just accidentally removed.

Probably as they have moved the forums around, and as they have created new sections; the permissions must have been changed.
