the background wolves in nava's pack

do you think they'd be interesting if they continued Aleu's side of the story?

for example, here's a pic

they look cool, they challanged eachothers opinions during the meeting, they just seem a lot more interesting than those three comic relief wolves Nuk, Sumac and Yak.

so discuss, which is your fav wolf in the pack? do you think one of them would be a suitible mate for Aleu?

Yeah, they were interesting.... interesting characters never are given names, you know. I liked the fact that the darker one in the center was female; I dislike the sight of the lack of feminine characters like that... At least I could see her as someone that Aleu could count on as she leads, since she sounded like she was much against Niju's ideas of stealing from other clans. As for the other two, I guess since they're males, either one could be a suitable mate for her, if she wanted to find a mate, of course. Then again, the three of them seem smart in their limited dialogue and, I agree, they were much more interesting than Niju's trio, offering more useful thinking to viewers - who would you follow in their situation, you know? They showed their doubts about both choices - Niju could have been right about their food source returning, but he could also be wrong - he didn't know... and for all they knew, no one really knew the truth; Nava could have been wrong too, but I'm sure they could never doubt a good leader like him, whether he's old or not.

But since they're not really fleshed out, it's anyone's guess. To be honest, I've made the reddish male as one of Aleu's closest friends in my continued adventures of Aleu and her new pack, but not as her mate. I'm sure others may disagree with that, but eh, everyone's got their own ideas, thanks to the movie leaving it open for us fans to get creative with.

the brown one I thought showed more character out of the three I thought. He seemed honorable and loyal to his leader and he's definatly one to count on for back up. he was also the first one to trust balto after the bridge was formed. I made a character dedicated to him and took the liberty of making him Aleu's Beta and mate later on.

the blue one seemed to have mixed feelings, he didn't have a lot but he did say that there was no right if they were hungry if I remember correctly.

and I completly agree with you analysis on the dark one.

if it were up to me, I'd make these the next trio if an Aleu spin off movie was in the making. not in comic relief but for a more serious tone.

Well I since they don't really have any "spotlight" in the movie and since we don't really get to know them I can't really say I have an opinion about them other than they're just there. But I do think they do a good job at showing controversy among the pack.

I would actually make the gray/blue male Aleu's mate. He seems to be more in touch with his instinct and would mate an excellent mate for Aleu. I can see them loving each other and bringing out the best in each other, but at the same time, when it comes to choices I see them at odds with each other. If there were to be a fourth movie, this time about Aleu, having the gray/blue male as her mate would make for some kind of sub plot movement.

It would have been interesting if they had developed some of the background characters even just a TINY bit more. Yet at the same time it is leaving it open for the fans of the movie to build on them some through fanfiction/art. But to say they should have had a bigger part because "they look cool"... :roll:

ok maybe I over exagerated but still, they seemed more interesting because they were higher class *or so they seemed* they seemed independent, their character traits didn't feel forced, I think they have side character potential is all.
