When Lines Are Blurred, Is There Really Any Difference?

Introduction

**WARNING*** This is a lycanthrope roleplay and most of the people involved will be in anthro or animal form most of the time. If this does not appeal to you, do not bother reading anything else. I do this so as not to waste your time. Thanks for reading this far, though!

I am different now. But who am I really?

When the light of the moon touches my skin, I am forced into a beast, but my thoughts remain the same. When my heart races and my anger raises, my humanity is still there. The hunt and the blood hold no control over me. I am not like the rest of them. I may act like them, but they are monsters while I just pretend to be. When their body phases into the beast, they are the creature. The creature comes out whenever their emotions run high. They cannot help their blood lust and need to kill.

I am different, but am I human?

Plot

When Gabirelle's aunt arrived for a weekend, Gaby had no idea that she would be sucked into her aunt's crazy would. Aunt Audrey had always been the crazy one of the family, never telling anyone her career and disappearing for months before arriving on someone's doorstep unexpectedly. This time, Audrey spends a few days with Gaby, but she has a mission this time. Audrey tells Gabry the truth about her line of work; she's a supernatural hunter. And she needs Gaby to help her with an assignment.

There are two sections of hunters in Audrey's company: those who want to kill and those who want to cure. Together, they have found Dusk, a night club that no human can gain passage in to. Only lycanthrops are allowed passed the doors. This had lead to confrontation between the two hunter sects. While Audrey and the others who want to cure these beasts wish for some kind of agreement, the real hunters want to bust through the door and leave no lycanthrope alive. Audrey cannot prevent this plan for long and a date for the break-in is already set. And is less than a month away!

This is where Gaby comes in. Audrey and her lab partners have designed a copy of the lycanthropy, but it is nothing like the actual disease. While all lycans are forced into their animal form on the full moon nights, they also spent time in their anthro form on other nights. When angered, most lycanthropes sprout fangs and claws and their irises change color. This copy cannot induce all that, but it will allow the infected person to shift under the full moon and change into their anthro form at night. The biggest difference, though, is that the copy has a working cure. Audrey wants to infect Gaby with the copy infection, have her enter the club andconvince the lycanthropes attending the night club to come with the scientists peacefully and help them discover a cure before the hunters kill them all.

Gaby thinks this is a good cause and agrees, but she soon finds out that the search for the cure isn't as humane as she once thought. As she befreinds the lycanthropes, she learns two important things. One: not all lycanthropes are wolves. And two: not all of them want to be cured. Gaby begins to asked the most important question: how is she any different from lycanthropes?

Setting

This takes place in an unnamed town in present time. The season will be winter because snow makes everything better! Most of the interactions will take place in Dusk, a night club reserved for lycanthrops only. It also doubles as a hotel and restaurante. Gaby also has her own apartment where some of the roleplay may take place in. The hunters won't really be involved; just faceless beings who are dangerous.

Rules

Although this roleplay isn't advanced, I would like a good size post from everyone; a paragraph would be nice, but I understand if you can only get a few sentences; no one-liners! I will dismiss you from this roleplay if you constantly post one line posts

Please join as more than one character; if you cannot handle two characters I understand, but please try; having more than one character helps to advance your roleplaying skills!
I will only be accepting three werewolves. All other characters must be were-any-animal-you-can-think-of. Just remember the law of conservation of mass! If your human is a hundred pounds, their animal and anthro form is also one hundred pounds. This results in tiny elephants and huge birds.
