Yesteday balto were aired for the frist time to all Brazil in TV Globo, and i watched it from them, i perceved that even they playinng a fullscreen version, the image looked very nice, seeming like the move were restored, the collors in globo transmission were much better, something very far from the quality of our widescreen dvd...

So, someone know if the version that plays in the tv were restored? (is good to remeber that if tv globo aired it for the frist time, sure it was bought recentily from universal...

That's interesting; maybe they applied some filter to make it cleaner, maybe they really restored it. Or maybe it is just your TV. Do you have any way to show how it looked like?

But, i can assure you, i even put the dvd to compare, both image and colors, we much more better in globo transmission, than our ntsc widescreen dvd. like you said, or them was using some filter, or the movie really was restored in this time

well togo, i don´t know, Here in brazil we use a system for dvds (NTSC) and other for tv (PAL-M or MPAL) and in that transmission of globo was the frist (and until now, the only) time that i really saw jeena´s bandana in orange (in the dvd it seems more red than orange) but was not only that, some scenes when we saw in the dvd some.. scratches, dust, etc... i don´t saw them in the tv, and the colors were much vivid than the dvd, so i don´t know if it was a restoration, but i can assure you, the globo tv version was much more better than the dvd version , what they done to do that ...i don´t know, but.... the result was indeed much good.
