hmmm.... Thinking I'm not so sure would the movie be as good as the game because there was bit boring plot going on, what the.... some sort of portal to somewhere where is something else than good world....puh well not so good for me at least but I will watch it when it will come

the game was a snore fest im sorry. and there are so many game-movie translations that totally sucked even though the games were awesome. Doom, Final Fantasy TSW (good movie standalone, i loved it, but as a Final Fantasy? No, hell freaking no), Resident Evil, mario brothers, tomb raider, *****Street Fighter**** (YACK!!!!), mortal kombat (the second one sucked, I actually enjoyed the first one)

Well that is a list I have started. Cant wait for "pac man' the movie hahaha.

Doom was alright..I guess.
FF:TSW was absolutely pitiful.
Resident Evil was actually good; I liked it.
Mario Brothers was no special case.
Tomb Raider was just plain dumb.
Mortal Kombat I didn't like from the beginning.
Street Fighter shouldn't even be considered a movie; it should be a disaster.

Now they're comming out with BloodRayne.

Still kinda a long way -- but I'm sure gonna see it.

not gonna waste my money on it. maybe catch it on hbo or something. But I have lost all faith in game-movie translations. maybe like 1 out of 100 game-movie translations *work*, not necessarilly are good, but work as a movie.

I dunno -- I have a feeling that this movie's going to be different. Maybe the main reason why people will think Silent Hill won't work as a movie is because they don't understand it as a game.

My thought..if its not created by Uwe Boll i'll give it a chance. I'm quite excitedmyself for SH. that and the last 2 resident evil movies. Bloodrayne..not so much..Far Cry either...Uwe boll has ruined my life.

Uwe Boll sucks. there's a rumour going round that he might be doing a Metal Gear Solid movie.

If hes making it, it would just be mindless violence and a poor plot.

Whats with all those games to movie conversion ? Whats next.. A movie about Pac-Man ?

I like the Resident evil.. It had nice plot lines & effects oh yeah. But now a Doom movie is coming out ? And now this ? Hot diggity dog..

I love the game but I'm not sure about how the film will be like.

I'm extremely ecstatic. I dunno if it's wise of me to get my hopes up so high, but from the trailers I've seen, it looks totally awesome!! What I'm really hoping to see is all the similarities in the movie I can identify from the game. Such as the monsters. Straightjackets, nurses, Pyramid Head, and mannequins, for example.

He is and he's also making a splinter cell movie.
