This is kind of based off the Japanese Tokusatsu show called Garo.

Plot: Do you feel like there is a presence watching over you? Protecting you? Do you feel a strange connection to a certain animal you can’t quite explain? Then you may be one of the few people who can awaken their Beast Soul.

Beast Souls are guardian spirit animals that protect and guide their host. Most merely protect their users from daily harm…but there are those who have an even closer connection. They can Beast Merge with their Beast Soul…what happens next is a matter of their heart. Those with good in their hearts become Beast Knights, heroic warriors who protect the innocent. But there is a far worse fate for those with evil in their hearts…

Those who seek the power of their Beast Soul but have a black, twisted soul, the spirit is corrupted by their evil and they become a Black Heart, a creature of evil who exists only to kill and destroy. For centuries the Beast Knights and the Black Hearts have fought, but a new leader of the Black Hearts has mobilized them under his power and seeks to destroy not only the Beast Knights, but normal humans, leaving only the twisted and evil Black Hearts to inherit the Earth.

Can the Beast Knights defeat the evil Black Hearts and disperse their threat? Or will darkness rain over this world? More importantly, which side are you on?

Name: Eiji Takashi
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Moto (Fierce Tiger)
Age: 50 (looks 20)
Personality: Strong willed, somewhat stubborn. He can come off as a bit pushy but he’s got a good heart. Eiji hates the Black Hearts with a passion and his fighting style pretty much amounts to completely obliterating the enemy. However, to his friends, he’s a strong and loyal ally.
History: Eiji was a normal person, that is until a Black Heart attacked his home, killing his entire family. That night, Eiji’s Beast Soul awakened before Master Isao arrived and destroyed the Black Heart. Seeing Eiji’s Beast Soul, Isao took him to train under him and master his Beast Soul. Isao also trained Eiji to keep his thirst for vengeance from tainting his heart so he didn’t slip and fall into becoming a Black Heart. Ever sense then, Eiji has assumed the form of the mighty tiger Beast Knight Moto to battle the Black Hearts.
Armor Appearance: Moto’s armor is pearl white in color, and built for strength. It has black stripe markings on the chest, arms, and legs, along with golden highlights on the shoulders and chest. His belt design is gold and has a roaring tiger with a white gem in the mouth as it’s symbol. His right shoulder has an orange sun shaped shoulder pad symbol while his left has a silver full moon shaped symbol on it. His right hand has a ruby, sun shaped jewel and his left has a silver, full moon shaped jewel. The helmet resembles a roaring tiger, with real eyes visible, having a more animalistic and biological appearance.
Weapons: Sun and Moon Swords: A pair of pearl white hook swords with golden hilts. The sword in his right hand has a ruby, sun shaped jewel in the hilt while the other has a silver full moon shaped jewel in it’s hilt.
Tiger Fangs: A pair of sais with much the same design motif as his hook swords.
Finishing Move: Sun And Moon Slash: His sun sword ignites with red fire while his moon sword becomes engulfed in a blade of light. He slashes the opponent, images of the respective celestrale bodies appearing behind him as he does so. He ends it with a double slash with an image of an eclipse.
Critical Bite: One of the sais with the sun motifi ignites on fire while the moon one gains an energy blade. He stabs the opponent in the chest with the sun sai and knocks them back with a kick to the sai's hilt. He then throws the moon sai into a vital area (head, throat, heart, ect.).
Tiger Ambush: Spins around, hooking the ends of his Hook Swords together, causing the sword at the end to ignite or become a laser blade depending which one it was. He then bisects the opponent with the hilt blade.

Name: Master Isao
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Akio (Glorious Hero)
Age: 1,000 Years old (though looks about 70)
Personality: Wise, understanding. He’s a bit of trickster however, and can sometimes use methods to teach that don’t seem to make sense at first but really do when you think about it. He’s mysterious, but a good friend who will always listen to those who need advice.
History: Not much is known about Master Isao’s past, except he’s a legendary Beast Knight whose fought thousands of battles and has defiantly earned his rank as a Master Beast Knight. He’s retired and hasn’t fought often, but when he does, he doesn’t need to use his Beast Merge often, as he’s an extremely skilled martial artist who can kill weaker Black Hearts with his bare hands. However, due to his advanced age, he’s not able to fight for long before he becomes too tired. As such, his fighting style normally relies on swift, powerful blows to kill the enemy quickly. But if it gets dire, he will assume the form of the Legendary Phoenix, Akio, for battle.
Armor Appearance: His armor has a vermillion base color and is very regal and powerful in appearance, but also lightweight, built more for speed than defense. It’s based off a phoenix and has a cape which he can convert into a pair of golden wings. His armor has golden highlights and a fiery golden marking on the chest and shoulder pads.
Weapons: Blazing Staff: A Golden staff with orange flames flowing over it along with jewels, giving it a very regal appearance.
Inferno Swords: A pair of Chinese Broadswords. The blade is silver in color with a golden hilt marked with a phoenix symbol at the hilt.
Finishing Move:
Holy Crusher: Spins the blazing staff around rapidly, holy light radiating from it before he slams it into the opponent.
Inferno Retribution: Ignites the Inferno Swords and does a series of powerful, rapid slashes to the opponent.
Beast Soul Awakening: A master level technique of awesome power. So far few have ever seen it, and even fewer have mastered it, all that’s known it is Master Isao’s ultimate attack that no opponent has ever survived. It can be learned, but it’s a technique which Isao refuses to teach except to those who are ready.

Name: Kennith Ashley Walker/Misha
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Kyoumou Otousan(Supposely means Fierce Father)
Age: 35
Personality: Misha/Ashley is a very calm and content person, however he loves to joke around when he's around his friends or family. His friends call him Kyoumou Otousan, meaning Fierce Father, because of the fact he acts like a very protective father when some threats his friends or family. He rarely raises his voice unless he gets extremely angry. So overall he is a very relaxed character.
History: Misha/Ashley was born as normal as any other child. He was raised up as a normal child too. He recently became an art teacher at an art institiue. So he's life has been pretty normal, while until a Black Heart attacks the school. In that moment his best soul had awaken. Due to his fierce instinct to protect his students.(Where are story begins somewhat)
Armor Appearence: His armor is a dull white color covered in a series of splotches of spots, along his back top of his arms and legs. The under side of him is completely black however. His gauntlets have a series of 'spikes' on the fingers to give him a look of having claws. His armor over all resembles a jaugar. His mask looks like a jaugar snarling. Showing on the very tips of his fangs. His mask does show his eyes.
Weapons: Misha has only one sword that he uses most of the time. That and a small dragger for very close combat. (Here's his sword btw --> http://www.trueswords.com/images/prod/n ... ebb5373de7 )
Finishing Move:
Blizzard's Awaken: Stirs up a huge blizzard which blinds the enemy from seeing any attack so he can't not dodge. The user then serves several extremely powerfully attacks. Before impaling the Blackheart killing it. (Has others but most of them are unknown at this point.)
Apperance:

Name: Russel Kent James
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Kumori Doragon(Shadow Dragon)
Age: 43(Looks to be 18 suprisely enough)
Personality: Russel actually has a very immature personality due to the fact he kept his kid like personality. So he jokes around alot and does NOT take things seriously. So when it comes to fighting Black Hearts it can get dangerous fast.
History: Russel grew up in a very rich house old. He was spoiled rotten from the day he was born. But to everyone's surpise he had a Beast Soul. It awakened when he was 15 while he was out with his mother shopping. Seven blackhearts came and started destorying the mall. Russel was freaked out as a blackheart approached him and his mother, but before he knew it his beast soul awakened and saved him and his mother along with the help of Master Iaso and Eiji. On that day he became a Beast Knight.
Armor Appearence: His armor is pretty basic. It resembles a black dragon. However he does not wear a cape but instead a scarf that forms into wings. (Thanks to Disega for the idea e_e;) He also has a sytche like tail.
Weapons: A gaint sytche with a single blue stone in the blade.
Finishing Move:
Death's Wish: The area around the enemy turns completely black and a grim reaper supposely appears in front of the enemy before they are killed.
Appearance:

Name: Scott Reigle known to the beast souls and black heats as the dark one.
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Dark One/Kumori Haiena(Shadow Hyena)
Age: 5,000 Years(Looks to be 50.)
Personality: He has a very dark, cold, and cruel personality. He is said to be very cunning and sarcastic also.
History: Scott was born in a very small village with one brother, and one sister. He had a good live until the black hearts came and corrupted his family turning them into black hearts. You'd think he'd want to destory the black hearts for what they had done but, it didn't turn out that way. When the Beast Knights came and destory his family and black hearts he was left alone. Alone, heart broken, and weak he sat there alone until a black heart came one more. That day Scott looked up at the black heart and seeked for revenge on the beast knights turning him into a black heart.
Armor Appearence: His armor is a very, very dark brown with some spots over him. His arms and legs are completely black, along with his tail. His armor resembles a hyena. His mask is the face of hyena but has silver eyes.
Weapons: A gaint sword called Kuna. Its COMPLETELY black with three stones in it. One is clear, one is white, and the other is black.
Finishing Move: All Unknown.

Name: JM Vangas
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Kumori(Shadow)
Age: 18
Personality: Jasmin is really mature for her age unlike Russel. She takes things seriously a lot but she can take a joke. She is very bright when she is in a calm state. She loves to draw and is seen doing so most of the time. She is a listener but is also a very leader like type. Most people say its her natural born nature.
History: Jasmin grew up in a normal house just like many people. She met Misha in High school. She quickly gained a crush on him although she never told him. She one day along with Misha encourted a black heart that nearly killed then but they were saved by an unknown Beast Knight. Ever since then Misha and Jaz, as she likes to be called, have watched each others backs.
Armor Appearance: Her armor resembles a wolf, however it very monstrous like, to give it a vicious appearance. Its completely black except for its underside were its silver. In her beast knight form she is crouched over more or less like a werewolf and the armor is light weight like Master Isao. Its meant for speed.
Weapons: Claws, fangs, and two hidden blades under her armor. (Think of Assassin's creed.)
Finishing Move: Unknown for now.

Outside the art institute, a man wearing all black watched the building. "Young people are important to this world," he said. "But more importantly, they are more impressionable..." he stated, slowly approaching and entering the building.

Eiji slowly headed towards the school, sniffing the air. "A Dark Heart..." he stated, giving a snarl and feeling under his coat for his blades to assure himself they were there. "Good..." he stated. "I just hope I can deal with this before it's too late..." he said, jumping slowly heading forwards.

OOC: Just introduce Kenneth first, so we get to know him before the first battle starts.

"Alright class please pull out your sketch books so we can begin the lesson." Kennith said calmly as he walked over to the board. It had been only a year since he started working at the art institute. His classes had increased in numbers greatly. From twenty nine students to forty seven students. He was known as the greatest teacher in the school so far. "Today we'll be working on creating our first poster for the drama classes first play." He said smiling a little. "And whomever's poster is picked by the drama class will get to sit in the first row, as a VIP and get to appear in the show for a few moments." He said coolly with a sort of a warm tone. The class talked excitedly with each other. It was known by all of the students that who ever got in this play was promised a huge roll in a new TV series and be recognized.

Ooc: Do you want me to introduce Russel in the next post or wait?

The man from before looked in on the room, looking at each student slowly, finding nothing of intrest. His eyes then narrowed on Kennith as he quietly sniffed the air. A smirk crossed his face, revealing a pair of animalistic fangs. He knocked on the door. "Hello," he said. "May I came in?" he asked, looking calmly at the teacher.

OOC: He'll appear when we get back to the Beast Knight's base.

Kennith looked up from a paper he was looking over and looked at the man. "Yes you may." He said calmly looking at him. For some reason however he was getting an odd vibe off of this man. "Who are you if I may ask?" He questioned.

The man slowly walked up to Kennith before pulling a gun out of his shirt and pointing it towards a student. "I want you to come with me, or the kid dies..." he said, absolutely calmly without any remorse as he cocked the gun. "No questions, no fighting, or I pull the trigger and blow his head off his body...and do worse to the rest," he said, showing his fangs.

The student froze looking at the gun, everyone in the class stood still. Kennith froze dropping all of his stuff. He narrowed his eyes slightly, growling. "F-fine whatever you want...Just leave them be..." He growled. A student shook a little. "Mr.Walker don't do it!" She shouted. Kennith looked over at her. "Rebbecca shush!" He said firmly before looking back at the man.

"Good now come wi-" said the man, before screaming in pain as a Sai flew through his hand, shattering the gun into pieces as it pierced his hand.

"That's just like a Dark Heart," said Eiji, slowly walking into the room. "Using an innocent person as a hostage. Do you have no honor?"

"Moto..." said the man, seemingly afraid of this person as he turned to face him as he tore the sai out of his hand, turning his back on Kennith.

Kennith stared at Eiji for a moment before jumping onto the black heart's back instinctively. "Leave my students alone!" He shouted angrily actually biting into the black heart's shoulder. He had no clue why he was doing this but it was just his instinct to do so. He tightened his grip more. He wasn't gonna to let go not while his students where in danger.

The Black Heart roared in pain, struggling.

Eiji was about to intervine when he caught a scent, a very strange one, coming from Kennith. "So that's why you're here..." he muttered.

The Black Heart threw Kennith off. "You'll pay for that..." he snarled, then let out a viscious roar, his body distorting with a black aura, transforming him into a humanoid, monsterious, bat-like creature, red eyes glowing.

Eiji charged and kicked the Black Heart back. "Kids, run!" he ordered. "I'll protect your teacher, don't worry!" he yelled, picking up his sai and stabbing the Black Heart in the jaw then did a spin kick, driving him back. I don't want to scare these kids by transforming in front of them, but I might have to.

Kennith winced sitting up his side hurting extremely. "Y-you heard him run!" He called out. The students all ran freaking out. The only one who didn't run was Rebbecca she was frightened pretirfied. He looked at the black heart not reliezing she was still there. He stood up weakly huffing.

Eiji blocked a slash before kicking the monster back. "Alright...I guess I'll have to Beast Merge..." he said, looking to the girl. "Don't freakout I'm a superhero, ok?" he asked, before looking back at the Dark Heart. "Beast Soul of the mighty Tiger, lend me your strength! Beast Merge!" he called, eyes glowing white. He was surronded by a white aura, a white, energy tiger emerged from his body, racing around him, parts of it becoming pearl white armor. Once all the armor was floating around him, it slammed forwards, starting at his legs, then his arms, followed by his chest plate before the head merged with his own and he roared.

The brave tiger Beast Knight, Moto now stood before the group. "In the name of the Beast Knights," he said, pointing to the Dark Heart. "I will strike you down!"
