1.) We
don't know that Simba and Nala are siblings. There is no official proof of that Simba and Nala are siblings. It's just a fan vision / fan interpretation.
The directors said "the genral assumption was that her father was Scar or...Mufasa." - but an assumption does not equal a fact. It's just thinking something to be a possibility. While they were obviously
joking, seeing to the way and entity of the situation in which the answer was given. Gawd, people, you need to start paying attention to
how things are being said instead of just
what is being said.
2.) It's said they
intented Kovu to be Scar's biological son, but that they
changed their minds when they realized it would be incest. That apparently was told by one of the film's makers to the adminisator of The Lion King Pride web site, back when the film wasn't released yet.
What the film itself says is the official truth. Not some random article in a magazine. Disney isn't hiding antyhing. You got to start being more considering about what you read in magazines.
The fact that that magazine article says Kovu's his son, doesn't mean anything. It's written by a journalist, not by the film's makers and thus it's a mistake OR refering to him as his adpoted son which he is.
