In the little town of Oakhaven the residents are  tormented by beasts far unlike any they have ever encountered. The natives in the surrounding lands protected them. Fed them. They claimed them to be guardians of the forest. Thr new people fear them, and called them beasts. Their bites are infectious, and turn people against each other, deforming them into beasts themselves. These creatures are people cursed by their ancestors during WW2. Given a great power that some couldn't control. They were marked with a special wound on their faces, branding them as threats. Here in Oakhaven, mothers tell the stories of the marked beasts to frighten young children into behaving. Everyone here is fearful of when the next attack will come. At night, the watchtower fires grow brighter and brighter, in order to propell away any creatures lurking at the edges of the dark.

I'll start:

The sound of repeating heavy footfalls echoed through the night. Two canine figures galloped through the trees. These canines were larger than any normal canine, they were marked. Bang! a single gunshot echoed out and one of tue figures fell as the sound of voices grew louder. The other canine stopped he was a tall silver wolf, he looked over his shoulder at the other canine. He didn't know him they just happened to be running the same direction. Those fallen are good as dead! he though tearing off as the scent of humans drew closer. As he ran there was a snap and the wolf swerved to the side in an attempt to dodge a sudden trap. However a rope tightened around his abdomen and feet and he was immobilized.

That night an abnormally large dog tore through the streets as it started to rain. The rain pelted his coat, and stang his eyes, but he kept charging, no longer hearing the sounds of poudning feet, he stopped. "That was close...." He muttered, turning and shaking out his fur. He shifted randomly, and fell onto the ground shivering from the impact of changing. "D***..." He growled, griping his shoulder where his mark burned itself hottly.

The wolf thrashed wildly until he collapsed with the sudden pain of himself returning to human form. He sighed and untied himself, looking to see if he was hurt. He noticed some blood seeping through his shirt and lifted it flinching at the sight of a deep gash along his side. He pulled his shirt back down and staggered off in the direction town.

The male, Iggy, stumbled downtown, looking for a place to crash since he'd heard about hunters in the woods. He grumbled when he stepped on a paperclip, stabbing it into his foot. Iggy yanked it out and walked into a hotel, getting a room and flopping down onto the bed.

The wolf, Colton, Began walking down the street, once he returned to the rundown appartment he called home.

Oc: yeah they're like high schoolers XD

[The next morning]

An alarmclock blared into Iggy's ears, causing him to curse and run over to the shelf to turn the darn thing off. He grumbled and stepped into the shower, before grabbing something to eat and running off to school.

Colton was in a deep sleep when his alarm clock started to sing a random radio song. He quickly got up and stretched, hurrying about to get ready then racing out the door.

Iggy walked down the long corridoors of the highschool, and stopped at his locker, fiddling with the combination before swinging it open.

Colton walked down the halls scheming about how to anger his teachers. Be bumped into Iggy by mistake but didn't stop walked.

Iggy swerved around, snarling slightly. "Hey! Watch where you're going! You dont run this school!" He barked, before turning back around and slamming his locker shut.

ooc: Its your turn to reply to the other rp, it's been a while o.o

Colton looked over his shoulder and chuckled "Who'd wanna run this dump anyway, pal!" he didn't wait for Iggy's reply he continued walking.

Iggy shook angrily, but silenced his call when the bell rang. He sighed, and slung his pack over his shoulder, storming off to class.

Colton decided to go to his first few classes, only because he shared them with, Chloe, his crush.

Iggy sunk miserably into a chair, next to a girl named Chloe. Iggy smiled at her, and began doodling in his notebook, while the teacher was out of the room.

Chloe looked over at him brushing some of her blonde hair from her face. she smiled back in reply and glanced at her phone before the teacher saw her.

Colton came in and took the seat in-front of her, he turned and looked at her with a smirk.

"Hi Colton..." she rolled her eyes, she had known Colton since they were little kids and knew he was a player.

"Hello Chloe, darling!" he said charmingly.
