Will You Stay Hidden From The Hunters That Seek You?Role Players PlotIn the small town of Night Shade, Cresent Valley High School is about to gain some new students. What the faculty doesn't know is that this rawdy gang of teenagers is actually a werewolf pack. Although these lycanthropes are still new at controlling their abilities, they all plan to start their lives over in this new town and live somewhat normal lives. But these werewolves aren't the only supernatural teens in this town. Over-looking the whole town is the Shadow Mountain Private School, a towering building that contains a very strange group of teens who happen to be vampires. This young coven has been living in Night Shade long enough to learn that keeping a low profile is the best way to go. The young pack of werewolves posses a threat to the vampires way of life, and with only a month left until school is in session, the vampires try their hardest to control the new pack. But these young wolves don't want to listen to anything the vampires have to say. With fights breaking out, their existence becames less and less hidden. There are only three people in the whole town who know of the existence of werewolves and vampires, and these hunters are close to finding out about these two groups of teens. Will the pack and the coven learn to get along before the hunters discover their secret? Current TimeMonth/Season: late July and nearing the end of a hot summer; the sun is still bright, though, and the weather hot SettingModern Time ~ 2011 Night Shade, Ohio ~ a fictional small town containing about one of everything except for the two schools Important Places~will add more as the rp goes on~ Dainty's Diner ~ The casual place to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is owned by the Richmond couple, and they cook all the food there on their own. Their young daughter, Chelsea, waitresses the place almost all the time, but they do have a few employees that help out with the place. They have an old-fashioned bar seating complete with stools along with tables and booths. They even have an old juxebox that doesn't work one hundred percent of the time but has a wide variety of music. Bella Notte ~ A much more formal restaurant that is a hot spot for first dates and anniversaries. It is obviously an Itialian themed eatery, but they have many lunch specials as well. There are many tables scattered around the whole floor, and you will never be able to not be able to find a place to sit. What makes this place specail is that all the treats are home-made. The place seems to never be empty, and it is understandable why. The Crooked Shelf ~ A quaint book store containing shelves upon shelves of modern and classic literature. It is one of the few shops with two stories, and it's second floor is mainly filled with arm chairs and couches were books can be enjoyed to the fullest. There is a small stage there where local musicians can play any night, just so long as they inform Katie (the elderly book keeper) before they arrive that night. Despite this, most of the clothes there are still pretty fashionable, even if there aren't in style. Most everyone is happy shopping there, but they also have other clothing usually bought in North Hills. Night Shade Flim ~ The largest building in Night Shade and serves as not only a movie theatre, but also the video and music store. Although this is all separated inside, it all goes by the same name and is worked by the same employees. Even though they tend to get the latest DVD's and Cd's a week later than the rest of the world, they are usually perfect when keeping up with theatre releases. Rosebud's ~ A strange store that sells many 'magical' items, and mostly people by things from there for gags and prunks. I was thinking we could each have one character in each group plus one more character to be in any group for a total of six characters per person. And here are my characters!!! Full Name: Stacy Johnson Nicknames: Stacy, Stace Age: 20 years Gender: female Group: Hunters Personality: What Stacy lacks in size she makes up for in attitude. She has a firey temper and doesn't take grief from anybody. If she has a problem with you, you are well aware of it. She isn't one to keep quiet and is unafraid to bring attention to "the elephant in the room." She almost always has a come-back to anything you can throw at her. Stacy isn't all talk, either. She is very good at her job and hardly ever misses a target. She prefers to use the old fashion bow and arrow rather than a gun, but she is handy with both. Although her weak point is a hands on fight, she knows the pressure points of the body well enough to escape from a grip and make a run for it. She also has a great hatred for werewolves and does not ask questions before killing one. History: Stacy grew up in sunny California with her single mother. Coming from a rich family, the two of them never hurt financially. Stacy climbed up the socail ladder from the time she entered school all the way to high school graduation. Although she loved a good party, she preferred to stay clean of drugs and alcohol and ranked in the top ten achedemically in her class. She was all prepared to attend college and earn a degree in chemical engineering when she stayed out much too late on a full moon night. While walking home at around two in the morning, Stacy had the strange feeling that someone was following her. She keep her cool and continued down the main street of town, but there were only a few cars along even that road. Between passing cars, Stacy was suddenly shoved into an alley. Paniced, she ran farther into the alley to try and escape the stranger, but her path was blocked by a fence. She pounded on back doors and screamed for help from the shadow she still didn't see, but no one came to her rescure. Finally, she saw a pair of gold eyes climbing down a fire escape, and the large furred form they belonged to let out a wailing howl just before lunging for her. Having no where else to go, Stacy tried to climb the fence, but the creature grabbed her ankle between it's jaws and pulled at her. She clutched to the fence as best she could, but claws scrapped across her abdomen as the creature tried to pulled her off the fence. Stacy soon realized the monster was climbing up after her just as one lean claw caught the side of her neck and slid down to her collar bone. And then, the mass of fur was gone. She managed to detangled herself from the fencing and slid to the ground where she watched a man drag the now human body behind a dumpster. The man came over to her and explained that the creature had been a werewolf and it was his job to kill them. He examined her ankle and told her the bite wasn't deep enough to give her the lycanthropy, but that her wounds she be cleaned anyways. Her took her to his house where he badanged her wounds and where she stayed the night. In the morning, the man asked her if she would like to join him in the hunt since he was growing older and still had not taken on an apprentice. Feeling a new hatred for werewolves, Stacy immediately agreed. She left for training a few days late, much to the disappointment of her parents, and has not returned to California since. Picture: http://suicide-bee.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=johanna#/d3d4f2aCrush: ~ Other: she has many scars from the attack, including bite marks on her right ankle, claw marks across her hips and stomach, and one lean scar running from just under her right ear, down the side of her neck, and ending at her collar bone; because of her scars Stacy almost always wears a turtle-neck shirt, and if she isn't, she will never wear any shirt that goes below her collar-bone. Full Name: Caledon Enslie Nicknames: Cale Age: 30 years, but looks around his late teens Gender: male Group: Vampires Personality: Cale is almost always chill and hardly ever looses his cool. He likes to makes others smile, especailly those in his coven. His smirk never leaves his face unless the situation is very, very serious. Cale is also a huge flirt and likes messing with the human girls around town, which is why most of them know who he is and follow him around when he walks through town. Although he is always relaxed, Cale cares a lot about his friends and would give up his life for any of them. Because Cale likes hanging around the humans in town so much, the others are often faced with his big puppy-dog eyes when he begs them to go down to the strip mall or rollor-skating rink or other human place with him. History: Cale spent his human life in Texas during the late 80's and earlier 90's. He graduated from highschool in 1999, then took off with a group of his friends for a cross-country trip, leaving behind their small town, ranching lives behind. They traveled to Florida to visit Dinsey Land and then Universal, never having been there before. They went to Miama then the beaches of Carolina before making their way to New York for broadway. From there, they headed west, stopping at major sights including the Grand Canyon. Finally, they reached California and spent two weeks with a surf board in one hand and a beer in the other. As the five best friends spent their last night out on the beach, prepareing to head back home just in time to pack for college, a strange girl came walking passed them a little after midnight. Because she was very beautiful and also because they were not exactly sober, the boys were on her in an instant. The girl hung out with them, encouraging their in take of alcohol until they were passed out drunk, except Cale who never was a big drinker. He did finally fall asleep while the mysterious girl stroked his hair. When Cale finally woke an hour later with the feeling that something really wasn't right, he was still laying in the same beach chair in the same spot he had fallen asleep at. But the only thing left of his friends were their empty beach chair. Only thinking that they returned to the beach house without him, Cale thought nothing of it until he noticed the girl sitting calmly in the sand. Blood coated her mouth and hands and then Cale saw a few clumps of dark sand that had been scattered around to become unnoticable. Then, the girl's teeth were at his throat before he even saw her move. When Cale felt that there could not be a single drop of blood left in his body, the girl muttered something about liking Cale. Blackness was taking over his vision when a warm liquid entered his mouth just before he could no longer feel his heart beating. Cale came to hidden behind sand dunes with the sun blazing down on him. He felt a necklace around his neck and quickly tore it off. His body felt as if it had been dumped into flames, so he quickly put the necklace back on. He later found the note demanding he never take the shark tooth off, and that is when it finally clicked that Cale was now a vampire. Picture: http://antikersg-p-photo.deviantart.com/gallery/26981119#/d2ut4oq Crush: ~ Other: he wears this in order to stay out in the sun Full Name: Rafe Slaughter Nicknames: Rafe Age: 18 years Gender: male Group: Werewolves Personality: Rafe acts like the big brother of the pack and can sometimes be over-protective especailly when it comes to the humans. He has an intimidating build that can easily scare off most anybody, but he is a very caring and considerate guy. He hates to be away from his pack and is hardly seen without another werewolf. He hardly ever looses his tempers, but if one of the pack is in trouble, Rafe is blinded by rage and is merciless. After his experience with the hunters, Rafe is weary of humans and will not hesitate to kill a hunter. History: Rafe was born in a town just outside of Night Shade, and he had a normal childhood with two loving parents and two annoying younger twin sisters. When he entered highschool, he had all the plans to make it to captain of the football team, and things seemed to be moving in that direction as he made it on the team. Even at the beginning of the season, there was talk of moving him up to the varsity team for his sophmore year, and Rafe's small world just got happier and happier. Rafe never did see his sophmore year at that school, though. After one football game, Rafe stayed long after everyone else had left to talk with the varsity coach. They discussed moving him up after the end of the season, which Rafe agreed to quickly. The coach left, but Rafe stayed out on the field, to happy to leave just yet. As he laid down in the center of the field, he heard a low snarl coming from his left. When he turned toward the sound, he saw a flash of slick white jaws before they sliced through his shoulder. The animal left bite wounds up and down Rafe's body as he tried to fight it off, but it finally got a grip around his neck. Thankfully, the team had come back to the field to look for Rafe since he never showed up at the restaurant, and they scared off the strange creature. The cops were called and Rafe was rushed to the hospital. After stitching him up, Rafe had to stay home for a week of recovery, but after only two days, he felt fine again. Rafe took out the stitches himself since they were causing more pain then helping him. After three days, all the marks from the attack were completely gone. His parents and the doctors were all astonished by this, but Rafe was just happy that he wouldn't have to miss a game. A month passed, and everything seemed back to normal. Except for Rafe. As the moon grew fuller, Rafe became more out of control. He almost broke the neck of a player on another team, and the coaches were having doubts about moving Rafe up to varsity. When he shoved a team mate into a locker after an arguement, the coaches finally decided Rafe couldn't handle the pressure of football and school. They asked him to turn in his gear and come back when he had learned to control his anger. Rafe was so frustrated with life that night, that he took a walk in the evening of the full moon and shifted before night even fell. Now that he knew what he was, Rafe ran away from town and traveled around Ohio for two years. During this time he had a run in with a group of hunters. He tried negotiating with them before one of them shot an arrow at him that, luckily, missed. Rafe took off and now only sees hunters as merciless killers. He found the pack near his old hometown. When they were looking for a place to stay, Rafe suggested NightShade, though never told them he grew up in the next town over. He yearns everyday to go back to his hometown, though he knows he shouldn't. Picture: http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?q=blond%20boy&order=9&offset=144#/d2lezlc // http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?q=white%20wolf&order=9&offset=24#/d1k9j4oCrush: ~ Other: he has a single scar across the top of his shoulder from a silver arrow Full Name: Jackson Coldstone Nicknames: Jack Age: 17 years Gender: male Group: SM Private Student Personality: Jackson is very artistic and is his greatest love his music. He writes his own songs with the help of his guitar that is covered in his own sharpie drawings. He also does a lot of sketch work, but never takes the time to actually add much color to them other than a few streaks of colored pencil. Even though he is an artist, he has absolutely no patience and has a very short temper. He gets flustered and stressed too easily. But Jackson also has a very open mind and is a good person to go to for advice since he's the master of the brutal truth. History: Jackson's father owns a lot of the shops in town, so the Coldstone family is pretty fine with money. Jackson is the only child and can get pretty much get anything he wants, though he doesn't really flaunt this. He is comfortable with worn out t-shirts and ripped up jeans and only spends money on his musical taste with racks of CD's and the best stereo and amp in town. His guitar actually came from his aunt who passed it down to him just before she died. He named the guitar 'Marie' after his aunt and a intricate drawing of that name was the first thing Jackson sharpied onto the guitar. Jackson is definately not the most popular kid in school, and keeps his head down most of the time. He doesn't like to get involved in any of the drama and chaos of highschool. He does have the biggest crush on the most popular girl in school, though she would never look his way. Most of his songs are about her. He also writes about the problems of his friends, especailly his best friend Carrie. (is this alright Moki?) Jackson doesn't believe much in the supernatural. He likes reality just the way it is and doesn't want any creatures coming in and making it different. Of course, when Carrie starts about werewolves and vampires, Jackson listens, but he always makes sure to say, "You do know that known of that stuff is real, right?" Picture: http://araren.deviantart.com/gallery/23862345#/d3gkfpxCrush: ~ Other: he wears a necklace like in the picture except with his guitar pick on it instead of the other charm Full Name: Luna Wagner Nicknames: Luna Age: 17 years Gender: female Group: Werwolves Personality: Luna is very rebellious and likes to break rules just for the sake of proving she can't be restrained from doing what she wants. She doesn't really seem to care about anyone and is rather mean to her other pack mates, but they knew by now not to take is personally. She avoids any romantic situation at all costs since she claims she wants absolutely nothing to do with love, and she has a habit of rolling her eyes and fake gagging whenever someone in the pack starts talking about love and friends and family and stuff like that. History: Luna grew up in a bad part of New York where the whole city was basically under the influence of the gangs there. Luna's mother got involved with a gang called the Wolves, and her mother often feed them whenever they came around and would even offer them the guest bedroom if one of them needed a place to spend the night. Although Luna was told many times by her mother to stay away from these people and to stay upstairs whenever they were around, Luna knew about the coming and going of the gang members and even learned some of their names. When Luna was fifteen, she started to disregard her mother's warning words and joined the gang for dinner on one occasion that lead to many more. One of the younger members, Ryan, came to the house more and more often to talk and flirt with Luna. Her mother noticed the attention he was giving Luna, and told her daughter she wasn't allowed to see him anymore because he was too old for her. Luna didn't see what those three measley years had to do with anything, and escalted the arguement further. Her mother forbid her to leave her room for the rest of the night before heading back downstairs to start dinner. Later on, just to prove that her mother had no control over her, Luna snuck out of her room and found Ryan at the park where the Wolves often spent time. She declared that she was joining them no matter what, and Ryan had no complaints about it. He warned her that the initiation would be life-changing, but Luna didn't care. She just wanted away from her over protective mother. Ryan took her to a run-down house where the gang lived and they set her initiation for the next night of the full moon. When that night came, they locked Luna and Ryan in a room together before running for the woods in the park. Luna was very confused about what she was supposed to do to be accepted into the gang, and that was when Ryan started to shift into a wolf. Luna realized that Ryan had been right about how the initiation would change her, but she calmed her fears and welcomed Ryan's bites. After officailly becoming a member, Luna fell into her place easily, mostly sticking by Ryan and staying out of trouble. But when things with Ryan started to go down hill, Luna wanted out. After a huge fight with Ryan, ending with him telling her she can't ever leave, Luna got up the courage to run. She didn't make it very far when a few Wolves caught up to her and tried to take her back. Luna fought with all her strength, but they dragged her all the way back to the house and knocked her out so she wouldn't run. When she came to, she felt ashamed from trying to leave the people that had now become her family, but the Wolves weren't forgiving. She was banished from the gang and forced to leave town, and Ryan didn't even come to say a good-bye. Now that she was a lone wolf, Luna did nothing but walk until she reached NightShade and the pack she has now. She still wonders if Ryan still thinks of her and if he even knew that she was being banished until after she was gone. She holds on to the hope that he still loves her, which is why she refuses to be eith any other guy. Picture: http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?q=black%20hair&order=9&offset=24#/d2mj5iz // http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?q=black%20wolf&order=9&offset=24#/d3gcmy0Crush: ~ Other: she still wears a bracelet that marks are as part of the gang, but she can't bring herself to take it off yet Full Name: Vanessa Cooke Nicknames: Nessa Age: 16 years Gender: female Group: CVHS Student Personality: Nessa can be rather vain when it comes to her looks and does really enjoy all the attention she gets from being part of the popular crowd. She is a very big flirt and jumps at any cute guy that passes her way, whether she is currently single or not. She is a great friend to her team mates, though, and is willing to do just about anything for them. Although she plays the pretty girl at school, she also has a tomboyish side to her that only her friends really now about. History: Nessa has lived in Night Shade her whole life, though she hasn't always been on top of the socail ladder. When she was in gradeschool, she hung around all the guys and played their rough sports and joined into their gross jokes. It was only when she was thirteen that one girl pointed out how much Nessa acted like a guy. That was when she started questioning if she wanted to be all the guys best friend or the girl that every guy wanted. Nessa decided on the latter. When Nessa entered her freshman year in CVHS, she completely changed her whole style first by not signing up for any sports and instead going out for the dance team. After such an athletic youth, Nessa found dancing easy and found herself the most favorite freshman on the team. She also learned that the dance team had quite a bit of competition against the cheerleaders, who also had a new freshman. It was the same girl who had insulted Nessa in eight grade, so she easily hated the cheerleaders as much as the older girls on the dance team. As she grew up, Nessa found herself attending all the best parties and gaining all the attention from the guys. She also found herself always competeing against the same girl, especailly when Nessa found out her football player boyfriend had cheated on her with that cheerleader. Now that she's about to enter her Junior year, Nessa is determined to find some way to get back at her. She also just found out that she is the unofficail "Baby Captain" on the dance team by the Seniors, which basically garuntee's her the captain spot next year. Nessa is floating on cloud nine just when things in town start to change. Oh wow, I love the set up for this <333 You've outdone yourself, Rose! Full Name: Ashton Demour (pronounced: Ash-tun Dee-me-your) Nicknames: Ash, Ashton Age: 17 [for 45 years] Gender: Male Group: Vampires Personality: Most of the time is secretive, can seem cold and heartless, and overall unforgiving. But his coven can see past the exterior, and really he's just had a hard past to deal with. He's slightly calm when he's around them, and only sometimes loses his temper unless someone he doesn't trust or know comes into the picture - when the other species/groups start becoming entangled in their concerns, Ashton is set on edge. And even his coven can't help him to a full extent. They know him well, but not well enough. History: By Ash's 15th birthday, he had already begun to feel slightly rebellious towards his parents. He had always been a good student in school, never really disobeyed anyone, but all of a sudden, when his grades slipped a bit from stress, his parents couldn't handle it? They yelled and shouted at him as if he were a dog. He didn't like it one bit. This was where a split personality started forming. He was hurt that his parents couldn't accept him, in some form or another, but at the same time began feeling it was his duty to defy them in order to show he wouldn't take it anymore. He slowly began letting his grades slip, more and more. Every day his parents would yell even more at him, and this caused even more damage. Ashton began confusing everything. He had forgotten rational explanation, and it was beyond his understanding by now that his rebellious ways were making matters worse. It came to a point where his father slapped him across the face, so hard the teenager was knocked off his feet. He let out a few tears, the last he swore he'd ever shed, and ran out the door. His older brother followed him, little to Ashton's knowledge, in an attempt to try and convince him to come back. Ashton ran through the city, far far away from his old home. He wanted nothing to do with his old life anymore. He wouldn't show weakness ever again. Not on the outside, at least. He'd bottle it up forever if he had to. And then it happened. While stumbling upon one of the various alleys in the streets, he slipped against the wall and allowed himself to feel the pain, taking it all in like battle wounds. Suddenly, the now 17 year old was confronted with a creature of darkness. A vampire. He didn't know it, either, until he felt blood across his mouth, that wasn't even his, and then fangs in his throat. He died then with another vampire's blood in his system. He awakened to find his brother leaning over his body, trying to help him up as Ashton's vision began fuzzing and clearing. Ashton barely recognized his brother, and it was only after he nearly killed him did he realize there was strange blood spewn all over the floor. He felt his own neck. There were two bite marks there that would forever remain. He was horrified as he saw his brother's nearly dead body on the ground, and fled the scene quicker than any average human could. He eventually went back home to get some things before he left town, but when he came, his parents were there to greet him with glares of hatred. They had found out about his brother. And they thought he was the murderer. His own parents attempted to kill their 'last' son. They shot him with bullets, they stabbed him with knives, but to Ashton's astonishment, nothing really bothered him. Except that his own parents were trying to murder him in cold blood. This was the ultimate breaking point, and he killed his parents out of rage. He drank their blood with savage delight, and later found his brother. Before his brother died, he tried the same thing that had happened to him. He gave his brother his own blood, then killed him for good. His brother was now a vampire too, and didn't like it. They grew apart overtime, even though they still held a brotherly bond for each other that could never be broken. Before they were torn apart, though, they each received a matching chain from a witch who wanted them gone from town. She hated the bloodshed and offered them a trip out of having to hide from the sun in exchange for them leaving innocent blood out of her town. They accepted, of course, and from then on were able to walk during the day without so much as a mild burn. Ashton has a tattoo of a cross on his chest, as mild humor for himself, but he is aching inside like no one would ever know. And he's acted out in vain because of it. For all these years since... Picture: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ftM27fTuvCs/T ... ttyfer.jpgCrush: May Develop~ Other: He wears this to keep from burning in the sun. Full Name: Isabella Yukon Nicknames: Isa, Bella, Isabella Age: 16 1/2 [for 26 years] Gender: Female Group: Vampires Personality: Isabella is smart. She knows her way around things and is apt at getting out of tough situations. And while quiet most of the time, the members of her coven know well enough that when she does talk, it's usually not without good reason. She's always planning in the back of her mind, looking for loopholes or anything related. She's extremely friendly, though her quietness does not come from being shy. She's actually extremely nice and social. This concerns some members of the coven because while they like staying low and not talking to many outside their group, Isa tends to like talking to humans sometimes. History: Isa had never had a tough life when she was younger. But when she was 15, she was hit with an extremely fatal case of cancer. Her parents were devastated and while she went through months of treatment, her health only seemed to decline. She didn't get better. She only got worse. Before she knew it, it was her sixteenth birthday. And she had to spend it in the hospital. One night there, a little while after her parents had left, she was only a few days close to her deadline. The day she wouldn't wake up. But she had an unexpected visitor pass by her hospital room. Ashton Demour came walking ever so cautiously into the quiet, empty room. He saw Isa's miserable state and decided to turn her. Originally, he had been there just for the sake of confiscating some blood bags due to the low supply in town. Though he decided he could spare a good deed just this once. And ever since, Isa has been apart of the coven. Full Name: Zachary Chase Nicknames: Zac, Zachary Age: 16 1/2 Gender: Male Group: Werewolves Personality: Reckless, loves to have fun, and daring at best. Zac seems not to care about anyone who's in his way, and loves his pack like his brothers and sisters. He'll bump right into you if he thinks you may be a problem, and tends to start things without thinking. But besides that, he loves to crack a joke every now and then just to lighten up the mood. History: Zac used to live a normal life before he was dared by a few dumb classmates and sent to the forest as his challenge. There he was turned into the creature he is today and he was so traumatized by the accident he never went back to his regular friends again. He stayed in the forest, not knowing how to change back into his wolf form and not really wanting to anyway. He was forced to on the full moons, of course, and eventually got the hang of it. Even though he could have gone back to school and back home, he decided it was best to leave everyone behind. He didn't want to risk A) People asking where he had been all the time he was gone & B) Hurting the ones he loved and trusted. And so, he ran away, eventually becoming a part of the pack and coming to the town. Picture: http://hairstylesarea.com/hair-pic/HLIC ... 8d930c.jpg / http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy18 ... ckWolf.jpgCrush: May Develop~ Other: N/A Full Name: Carrie Carter Nicknames: Car, Carrie Age: 15 Gender: Female Group: SM Private Student Personality: Carrie is relatively quiet around most people. Though she's very intuitive, and deeply brave too. Her curiosity sometimes gets the better of her, but you would never know that was a cause for her actions. When things go wrong, she's usually not the first culprit; she's a very good student, studies a lot, and if she ever gets into a troubled situation, it's never entirely her fault. She's the type of person who tends to get 'caught up in things' even if she doesn't meant to. History: Carrie has lived a pretty normal life, though she's always been into the supernatural. Time and time again, she's been told none of it was real, however, and over the years she learned to silence her dreams from others. When she was younger, she had a worse thing to deal with. Around a few months after her eighth birthday, her mother died in a car accident. This left her and her father alone. Since then, her father has tried his very hardest to attempt to fall in love again: with no success. Carrie doesn't mind being alone with her father, though. If she were to gain a stepmother, she wouldn't mind that either. She just tries to go with the flow and not to get in anyone's way. She's never been the most popular around school. In fact, the one time people in school talked to her the most was to give their condolences about her mother. To say 'Oh, I'm sorry about what happened' or 'I hope you feel better soon'. She only has a handful of friends due to her strange personality and overall aura, but she sometimes prefers it that way. Picture: http://image.shutterstock.com/display_p ... 713421.jpgCrush: May Develop~ Other: N/A Full Name: Travis Cardero (pronounced: Trah-viss Car-dare-oh) Nicknames: Trav, Travis Age: 16 Gender: Male Group: CVHS Student Personality: Travis is the type of guy who's loved around school, but tries not to flaunt it. He loves the attention and is incredibly grateful that he's not a social outcast. He's the appreciative person who is thankful for the things they're privileged to have and he's usually mild/neutral on most subjects.. Though he's not big on the supernatural. He's never believed in the stuff, and doesn't have too wide of an imagination. He's of average intelligence, and can come up with an idea pretty quick. Though his plans aren't always full proof. History: Travis has never really had too tough of a life, but he isn't exactly a full proof student. He's great when it comes to having friends and being grateful, but he's never really experienced 'true life'. He's not sure what it's like to have a tragedy happen with him in it. So when the world suddenly starts overturning with vampires and werewolves, he will find that the supernatural isn't just myths. He will have to cope with the pressure of either believing it or not, and he will find that his life isn't the only one in danger here. He'll have to come to terms with hard core reality. And who knows how that will turn out. Picture: http://images.inmagine.com/img/uppercut ... 023459.jpgCrush: May Develop~ Other: N/A Full Name: Janessa Dover (pronounced: Jah-Ness-Uh Doh-verr Nicknames: Janess, Jan, Janessa Age: 20 Gender: Female Group: Hunters Personality: Janessa is efficiant, never misses, and doesn't have too much of a sense of humor. She's sensitive, though, and does tend to have sympathy for others much more than she should. This tends to mess with her job a lot. However, you give her an order and she will follow it without question. Even if she feels what she is doing is wrong, she will do what she is told for the sake of not upsetting balance. History: Janessa went through high school and splashed straight into college. She planned to be a lawyer and was one of the highest in her class. However, the authorities saw something different in her. A passion to strive and please. So they assigned her to be a supernatural hunter. With that, she gave up law school and dropped out of college. She sometimes regrets this, but in the end, she realizes that what she's doing now is much more important. Keeping the city safe from threats such as vampires and werewolves. And keeping the secret hidden from most of the population, as well. I love the layout and all of your characters, Moki and Rose <333 I can't wait to start this thing And also, can Andrew, me second werewolf character, be a lonewolf instead of part of the Pack because the Hunters know what he is and he doesn't want the others to be found out? He hangs around them but refuses to join. If not I'll change his bio to be part of the Pack ^_^ Full Name: Nicole Worthey Nicknames: Nicci, Nicole Age: Sixteen Gender: Female Group: The Pack Personality: Although Nicole appears to have the aura of someone that seems unapproachable, she is actually the kind of person who loves to have people around her. She tends to make friends easily because she knows her manners and will be polite but funny at the same time. If Nicole met the most popular person in the school or even the least popular kid, she would still act the same to both of them and hopefully, gain their friendship. But even though she loves making new friends, Nicole can tell when someone is the type of person who doesn't deserve a friend. If she finds herself disliking someone, she will show it every time she crosses paths with them. History: Nicole was born on Manhattan Island in New York City. As a young child, Nicole lived a pretty average life in an apartment in the middle of the city. Her father was an actor on Broadway and often starred in popular shows. Nicole's mother, who was an actress, a dancer, and a singer on broadway, stayed at home with her daughter until Nicole was five years old. When both of her parents were doing shows and rehearsals, Nicole was watched by a regularly paid babysitter, although the babysitter would never show up on the full moon and her parents would have to call in someone else. Because of her parent's jobs, Nicole had a pretty good life and they were hardly ever in need of money. Nicole began to attend The Bronx Boarding School at the age of seven and stayed there overnight during the school year. When Nicole turned eight, she came to adore her babysitter, whose name was Amanda, even though she was strange and unlike most of the people in New York. When she noticed that Amanda had obtained a strange bracelet on her wrist. It had a chain that connected with two wolf heads pointed towards each other. When Nicole asked about the bracelet, Amanda would tell her that her grandmother had given it to her. But the time Nicole was twelve, she began to feel her parents passion for acting and singing and dancing on the stage in front of millions of people. Every day she would go and see them in their rehearsals and shows and learn dances and songs and the tricks on how to act. On her thirteenth birthday, Nicole's mother finally noticed how much her daughter loved Broadway and decided to let her have a taste of the spotlight and would let her audition for the next show needing actors and actresses her age. Even though Nicole was too old to have a babysitter anymore, her parents had to go on a trip to Toronto for a week and needed someone to be home with their daughter. Amanda came and stayed in the Worthey's apartment and she and Nicole got along pretty well. Until the night before her parents would return. It was a full moon and Amanda could not leave this time - but she told Nicole to stay in her room for the night so that she would be able to be awake when they picked her parents up from the airport. Nicole disobeyed Amanda and snuck downstairs only to witness Amanda change into a wolf-like form. She screamed and the creature whipped around before spotting her and lunging at her. The wolf bit Nicole's neck and arm a few times before jumping out the window and into the empty street below. Nicole woke the next morning with no more then a light mark from the bites the wolf had given her and she dismissed it all as a dream. She and Amanda, who Nicole did not know was the wolf, picked her parents up from the airport and then the babysitter vanished. By the next full moon, Nicole discovered what she was and realised that the creature must have been Amanda and she turned her into this creature. Not wanting to hurt her parents, Nicole ran away and traveled over states, having met several other werewolves and avoiding Hunters. She met a boy just outside Nightshade, Ohio and, she thought, fell in love with him. The boy was being tracked by Hunters and he took Nicole to a Pack in Nightshade, where she would be safe. Picture: Human || WolfCrush: Andrew Other: N/A _____________________________________________ Full Name: Andrew Galdeano Nicknames: Andrew Age: Seventeen Gender: Male Group: Werewolves/Lone Wolf Personality: Andrew is a guy who, with one look at him, will break a girl's heart. He is a very polite and noble gentleman and is not quick with comebacks. He typically likes to meet new people and make friends, but because of the Hunters, he is afraid to do so because he does not want these people to get hurt. Although Andrew is very polite and friendly, he doesn't say much and because of this, he gives off a mysterious aura. When people see him, they get the impression that he doesn't want to be spoken to when in reality, he desperately wants a friend. Andrew is hardly ever a mean person but when he gets angry or someone is being cruel and hateful, he lashes out and sometimes has to be pried off of them. History: Andrew was born and raised in Mexico City with only his single mother there to care for him. When Andrew was three years old, his mother fell in love with a drug lord and she started abusing drugs because of him. Andrew grew up in a bad environment because is mother and stepfather would always get in fights and one of them would end up on the floor, and it was usually Andrew's mother. But when Andrew was seven years old, his mother divorced his stepfather but still abused drugs. His mother spent most of her money on these drugs so they didn't have a good life financially. Andrew would go to school with a very strong scent of cigarettes and often would go to the principles office because the teachers were afraid that the young boy was smoking with his mother. His mother's custody of Andrew was taken away and the CPS tried to get a hold of his biological father, who they later found out was dead. The boy lived with his grandmother just outside of Mexico City until his mother was clean and he could live with her again. By the time Andrew was thirteen, his Mother had begun to smoke again but that was all he knew about. One night, while he and his mother were watching a popular television show, three men broke into the house and killed her. Andrew watched in horror as his mother was shot down by the men and crouched down next to her body as the men fled the house. Andrew later found out that the men were friends of his ex-stepfather and they had been ordered to kill both of them, but the intruders had only killed his mother and spared the boys life. Andrew went to live with his grandmother again for six months until he fled the country and successfully crossed over the border and into California. He quickly became a United States Citizen and pledged that he would never return to Mexico again. Crossing state after state, he tried to find a good place to stay but he could not stay in one place very long. One night, as the car he had hitchhiked in broke down on the interstate, he was grabbed by something from the side of the road and dragged into the woods. He could barely make out what the creature was before getting knocked out by a swift punch to the head. He woke up the next morning with bite wounds all over his body and no sign of the creature that had attacked him. Andrew made his way to the outskirts of Night Shade, Ohio where he was confronted and almost killed by a Hunter. He has lived as a lone werewolf ever since. Picture: Human || WolfCrush: Nicole Other: He lives as a Lone Wolf in Night Shade, even though he hangs around the Pack, he refuses to become one of them because of the Hunters knowing what he is. _____________________________________________ Full Name: Angela Owen Nicknames: Angel, Angie Age: Twenty [ 30 years ] Gender: Female Group: The Coven Personality: Angela may look like her name suggests, an Angel, but in reality, she is quite the opposite. When she meets new people, she wants to get every detail about the person before she decides if they are going to be friends or enemies. When she does come to trusting someone, she can be an actual Angel and is really nice and friendly - someone that is worth becoming friend with. But, along with being nice, she can be really cruel is she decides that she doesn't like someone. Around people that she dislikes, Angela will be mean and hateful towards them. Its just the way she is. History: Angela was born in Seattle, Washington where she was raised by a caring but alcoholic father and a bipolar mother. Her parents were both lawyers so they never struggled with money. Angela was always the most popular girl in school - always having the cutest clothes and the most friends and straight A's. When she left middle school and went into high school, she continued to climb up the social ladder and she joined the cheer leading squad. As a freshman, Angela was one of the lowest ranked girls on the squad but when she became a sophomore, she started dating the quarterback of the school football team. The older girls began to respect her and she gained even more friends. When she finally became a senior, Angela was captain of the cheer leading squad, chief of colorguard, and president of the senior class. The high ranks that she had achieved did not overwhelm her like it would some people, and it made her very happy. When she graduated from high school with a diploma in one hand and college acceptance letter in the other, Angela was ready to begin her college life and learn to be a cardiologist. But the summer before she went to college, when both of her parents were away at court, she went to a party that was supposed to be the biggest party of the summer. Angela had drunk too many beers and passed out on the couch where her friends left her. She didn't have any other ride home so she began to walk the two miles to her house. On the way to her neighborhood, Angela heard something hiss to her left and when she looked, she black out. Waking up in a hospital bed two days later, she noticed two strange bite marks on her neck and that she had almost died from blood loss. That was when she found out that she was a vampire. Running away from Seattle, Angela drove almost all the way across country to a friends house in Columbus, Ohio. After almost killing her friend from trying to ease her thirst for blood, Angela drove until she came to a strange town, Nightshade, where she met the other vampires in her Coven. Where she finally felt at home. Picture: ClickCrush: Will develop ~ Other: Wears This on her neck to keep from burning in the sun. _____________________________________________ Full Name: Madison Hallmark Nicknames: Maddie Age: Twenty-Four Gender: Female Group: Hunters Personality: Madison's personality is pretty much how her looks give off. When people first meet her, she has a... quiet aura. Around the people who she does not know very well, Maddie is afraid of speaking too much because she does not know if the person is friendly or unfriendly. By the time she comes around to liking someone, she is quite talkative. Sometimes it is very difficult to get her to shut up. If she decides that she does not life someone, she does everything she can to avoid that person. Maddie does not like to get into fights with people but she doesn't want to let people go without a bruise or two. History: Maddie was born in Fort Worth, Texas where she was raised by both of her parents. Her father was a project engineer and her mother was a stay at home mother so they didn't really struggle with money but sometimes they came close. She grew up as an only child attending several elementary schools and middle schools because she would lash out at teachers and other students frequently. By the time that Maddie was fifteen, her parents divorced and she stayed with her mother as her father moved to San Antonio, Texas. She eventually stopped lashing out at people at school by the time she was a freshman, but she still stayed low and refused to try and climb the social ladder but also refuse to slide down it. She had a pretty tight circle of five or six friends who she trusted and cared for as though they were family. When Maddie graduated from highschool, she was saved from a vampire by a person who called themself a "Supernatural Hunter". She was shocked by both the fact that she could have died and the fact that things like vampires actually existed. Feeling grateful to the Hunter, she decided to become one of them and join him and his group of hunters. After ridding the city and area of the supernatural beasts, the group traveled to Night Shade, Ohio where they had reports of Vampires. The guy who had saved her life stayed in Texas and she went with the others, leaving him behind. Picture: ClickCrush: ~ Other: Prefers a gun rather then a bow and arrow but find the poisoned arrows to be more affective. _____________________________________________ Full Name: Lia Harris Nicknames: Lia Age: Seventeen Gender: Female Group: CVHS Student Personality: Lia is a very passionate individual. She finds herself latching on to things easily and never wanting to let go. When she first meets someone, she is very edgy and doesn't know how to act - but she is very, very fond of making friends because she doesn't have very many at school. Around the people who are actually lucky enough to become her friend, Lia is a very nice, but still shy girl. She is never really mean unless her parents come into the picture. History: Lia has lived in Night Shade, Ohio almost all of her life. She was actually born in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she lived the first three years of her life until her father got a job in Night Shade and they moved there. Lia was homeschooled from kindergarten all the way up to sixth grade and she never really started her life until junior high. Because she was homeschooled, lots of kids made fun of her for being stupid because she was behind everybody else. Although she was very, very far behind in the seventh grade, Lia soon became a straight A student and by the time she was a freshman at CVHS, she decided to join the mathletes club. This resulted in her being made fun of by what she thought were her friends and her other classmates. When she became a sophomore, Lia dropped the mathletes and let her grades slip down the an A-B average so that kids would not make fun of her for being a know it all. She decided to join the debate club and loved it, finally coming to the conclusion that she will be a lawyer when she finishes college. Ooc:// I am going to start this roleplay now because I have time tonight to get in a good starting post. We'll start in late July where the wolves have just started to get settled into their new home, the Hunters have just arrived (only looking for vampires at this current time), and everyone else in town is enjoying their summer. Check the first page for some location information! Bic:// Stacy plopped her large duffled bag down on the middle bed as she glanced around the homey though tight quarters of the motel room. The door lead right into the bedroom where three twin-sized beds sat lined up against the left wall, facing a small television that Stacy guessed only had about ten channels. It sat upon one of two off-white dressers that didn't match exactly in color but where good enough for holding clothes. As far as Stacy could tell, there was just one closet, and she would be happy to give it up to one of her colleagues to gain usage of the slightly larger dresser. She noticed that, thankfully, they had a tiny kitchen area, and from what she could see through the cracked opened door, the bathroom looked rather spacious. Even though she still had another duffle bag and suitcase to fetch from the car, Stacy hopped up on the bed. After the almost twelve hour car ride over to this sad excuse of a town, Stacy was ready to sleep for the next week. She stretched her stiff arms, flexing her fingers out of the position of holding a steering wheel, before closing her eyes and enjoying not sitting in that stiff driver's seat, squeaky passenger seat, or the even worse backseat that could cause car sickness in under a minute. A wide yawn escaped her lips, which only caused her to want to sleep even more. "Well, girls, we have arrived," she announced, eyes still shut. "And think I will take the rest of the day off for personl relxation. Who's with me?"
Cale launched himself over the banister of the indoor balcony of the second floor of the coven's house, landing on the balls of his feet with barely a sound. "I'm heading out to the lake to actually enjoy my summer," he called out through the house, making sure to be heard by all the vampires. Even though the lack wasn't much as a lake, it was still good for a nice swim. Besides, even if it was early in the afternoon, the place would probably already be packed with people swimming, sun-bathing, and cooking out. It was just the kind of socail time Cale loved. "If anyone wants to join me, I'm already out the door." As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he reached out a hand for the door knob, and paused for only a second to wait for anyone who did want to tag along. It would only take a minute for them to change into a bathing suit, but Cale wasn't sure he could wait that long. He already had his swim trunks on and a t-shirt slung over his shoulder. He could be at the lake in less then five minutes even he ran slowly, but he hated to go places without at least offering for the others to come along.
Rafe hammered in the last bolt into the wooden desk, and stood up to admire his work. Although the woods seemed a little flimsy would be strong enough to hold the laptop the pack had recently chipped in to buy. Considering they all would be attending public school in Night Shade in little over a month, a working computer with decent internet was definately needed. Because the house was only one floor and small even by Night Shade standards, they had converted the master bedroom into a everything room. It was mostly an office/study with a large comfy couch for comfortablity while doing homework, but it also served as a gym, though they were still working on getting more equipment than just a treadmill and mini fridge. A shelf of books and movies is also in there, though it is quite empty for now. Even with all that, there is still room for a bed where Andrew will sleep if he ever stays the night at the house. Whiping the dust from his hands, Rafe backed out of the room, heading towards the kitchen for a late lunch. He glanced at the microwave clock and read that it was already one in the afternoon. Not eating all day is never good for any werewolf. He rummaged through the cupboard only to find them mostly empty. They still needed to make a trip to the grocery store whose name Rafe had already forgotten. He did remember seeing a diner near the house though, and suddenly a burger sounded just right. "Who's up for going out for lunch?" he shouted, knowing everyone would hear him through the paper thin walls. Luna shoved the last drawer close, the last bit of her clothes finally put away. The comforter still sat on her unmade bed, but she would worry about that later tonight. For now, her stomach was demanding for head for the kitchen. Just before she left her room, she heard Rafe answering her tummy's prayers with the suggestion they eat out. She opened her door slighty, sighing as she called back, "Does that mean I have to get dressed?" She was still dressed in the clothes she slept in, a pair of pajama pants and an old t-shirt. Her hair was knotted into a bun with tangles she couldn't hope to get out, and her teeth hadn't been brushed since the day before yesterday. She was so far from being presentable in public. Ooc:// I'll post with the others later. No muse for them right now.

Ooc:// I won't bring in my human characters a whole lot until school starts - no muse for them either.
Bic:// Madison, holding a large yellow duffel bag, stepped into the motel room. Breathing in slowly then exhaling, she smiled and dropped her bag on the bed that stood in the corner. Sitting down and yawning, she brushed a strand of curly blond hair from her face. "That sounds great." She replied to her colleague. "If that nearly twelve hour drive here wasn't enough - it had to be agonizingly hot outside." Maddie unzipped her duffel bag and pulled out a familiar large, white t-shirt. Standing up, she started walking towards the bathroom. "If anyone needs me, I'll be taking a nice, hot shower." She closed the squeaky door behind her and locked it before turning on the water and waiting for it to warm up before she climbed in.
_____
Angela walked by Cale as he stopped by the door, asking if any of the others wanted to join him. "Not me. I hate swimming." She muttered and sat down on the brown, leather couch. She was wearing a tan day dress and a purple sock on one foot. Her eyes had circles under them and her hair was not brushed. Curling her legs under her, Angela leaned against the arm of the couch and began reading her favorite book - War and Peace - of course. She read a few pages before setting her book face down on the table beside her, standing up, and walking into the kitchen. She instantly grabbed a cup of coffee and gulped it down - even though she didn't need it.
Refilling her cup, Angela dragged herself back into the living room and curled back up on the couch. This is how she spend almost every Sunday, rain or shine.
_____
Nicole opened her eyes wide as she heard Rafe's suggestion for lunch. Even though she had her headphones on, she could still hear him loud and clear as though he was sitting right next to her. Jumping off her bed, Nicole clapped her hands loudly to get the attention of Andrew, who sat on the floor listening to his iPod. He looked up and Nicole opened the door, motioning for him to follow. Running around the corner and skidding to a halt in front of Rafe. "I am!" She said excitedly. She was ready to do anything in order to get out of the house.
Andrew took out his ear buds and slowly followed her. He walked awkwardly down the hallway, nodding simply to Luna as he passed. He still wasn't used to hanging around Nicole's 'family", but he was determined to not be pushed away by it. Turning the corner, he walked into the kitchen and almost bumped into Nicole and Rafe. Having heard what Rafe suggested, Andrew nodded in response. He was a bit hungry, having not eaten since late last night.

OOC: So sorry about not posting... for some reason I've been trying to work up the muse to write for all these characters. I've been in Yellowstone, too, for the past week. Also, amazing work with the locations, Rose! I feel like we're writing a book! *hint, hint* (: Janessa was still down by the car when the others entered the room. She studied the trunk of it and noticed that Stacy had left a few of her bags down here. Since it didn’t look like she’d be back for a while, Janessa took the liberty of taking her bags for her, along with her own in tow. It was a bit of a trip to get through the door in the lobby, travel to the room, and manage to get it open, but she was able to do it. Walking in, she felt a breath of fresh air even though there was none presently. She dropped all of the bags she had been carrying, Stacy’s last duffel bag strapped to her suitcase, and Janessa’s own medium sized suitcase in her other hand. She had never been the type to pack heavily. She always took only the necessities. When she deposited them where Stacy had left her first duffel bag, she felt relieved. The bed seemed like a welcome gift after the terribly long drive. And since Janessa had been stuck in the back seat a little more than half the time, she was glad to finally be able to stand in one place without moving. She nearly flew onto the bed next to Stacy, and immediately commented on the raw softness of it. “I know this place looks worthless, but at least the beds are nice…” She trailed off, falling into a deep, relaxing sleep that she desperately craved. ~~ Ashton came strutting into the living room ever so quietly with a blood bag in hand when Cale suggested the lake. He was a bit reluctant to go, but perhaps not quite so hateful of it as Angela seemed to be. After what seemed like a world of a decision and hours of time to make it, he finally made a choice to go. After all, what harm could it do? He knew himself and he knew he was usually weary around strangers, but he had to get used to it at least a little bit. They were going to school, after all. So, he said quickly, but swiftly, “I’ll go.” Just like that, he walked up the narrow staircase, headed to his room, speed changed into his swim trunks, grabbed a light shirt and flung it over his shoulder, then headed back down to where Cale was still there. Isabella walked as quickly as she could down the stairs at about the same time as Ashton came back and nearly giggled to death. She usually wasn’t this jittery, but for some reason the suggestion of heading to the lake for a swim with her fellow coven members seemed like a thrilling idea. “Ooh, can I come?” She asked, obviously trying to hide the excitement in her own voice. The rest of them weren’t fooled. Though, she kept trying her best not to sound annoying. Ashton turned to Cale to see what he would say, though he himself said nothing. He finished the blood bag and threw it into a garbage can nearby without even taking a step in that direction. Never mind the fact the can was at the other side of the room. He licked the blood of his fangs and wiped the small smears on his mouth and then darted his eyes from Isa to Cale. He knew blood bags weren’t exactly the preferred method of drinking, but he also knew that the coven had to keep a low profile every now and then. They couldn’t make too much of a scene. Oh how easy their lives would be if they could actually hypnotize people like in all those horrid vampire movies. Then they’d be able to make them forget an attack. Though, real life wasn’t this way. Ashton could still taste the blood on his tongue, even though he had long since gulped it down. It wasn’t necessarily a bad taste, but not as fresh or warm as you could get it. If he were human, it would be like eating a warm, freshly baked cookie with melting chocolate and soft baked edges versus a cold, hard rock of a thing, something that had been stuck in the freezer for a while and left to just sit. Both were still the same object: a cookie. However, the tastes differed in effect. Even still, Ashton dealed with it. He kept in mind that the coven would be able to hunt soon. In a day or two, it would most likely be safe to do so without getting caught. Then they could all have their treat. The warm, fresh cookies to a vampire who hungered. ~~ Zac barreled his way from his room in progress to where the rest of his pack was now gathered. “Lunch? I’m so in!” He said, with a laugh tainting the edges of his response. He looked around and saw that the table for the computer had finally been built. Glancing at Rafe’s dusty hands, he could only guess that his fellow werewolf finished the job. “Nice work on the table, Rafe. It looks perfect!”Then he noticed with a turn of his head that Andrew was with them. “Hey, Andrew,” he greeted. This guy still puzzled Zac a bit. Why did he not join the pack? It would make his life so much better, more fun, and less lonely. If nothing else, he’d be 90% cooler. So what was his reason for hanging around but never sticking with them? They even had a bed made up for him and everything in case he did! Zac shook his thoughts aside. He was getting too distracted, just as he usually did. His stomach rumbling was what caused him to realize he wanted to focus on the main conversation instead of drifting into the clouds. “So are we all going?” He asked. He was getting a bit impatient, but he decided to just sit it out for now and wait for once. ~~ Travis was dressed and ready to head to the lake. He had been wanting to go all week, but since he didn’t really want to go alone, he had been waiting until the right day to call up his best buds and head on over there. Picking up the phone, he dialed a number, waited for the sound of it picking up, then added another number into the call. “Hey Lia, Vanessa, wanna go to the lake today? It sounds almost packed and not just with people!” He was referring to the ‘fun’ element. After a few seconds of no response, he said a bit hesitantly, but full of anticipation, “So… you want to go?”His voice was nearly trembling with the hope at least one of them would say yes. ~~ Carrie had her bathing suit already on and was at the lake already. It was indeed packed full of people and fun, but for some reason she found herself a lot lonelier than she wanted to be. She hadn’t expected to go alone. Though, she only had herself to blame for not picking up the phone and dialing a number. She kept looking around, though, hoping to find a few of the people she knew from school, besides the snotty jerks who only went there for status. Too many of the kids in her school went there just to be noticed and held high. They had too much money on their hands and probably didn’t know what else to do with it. And so, they spent a chunk of their fortune on going to a school filled with mostly other snots just like them. They all fit together perfectly. Though Carrie wasn’t a hermit, and she had talked to a few people in the school before. She knew a portion of them were as friendly as could be with good personalities and potentials to be very good friends. She hoped to see some of them here by looking around in the lake.

"Don't use up all the hot water!" Stacy called after Madison just as she classed the bathroom door with the familiar click of a lock. "It's like she doesn't trust us," she muttered just as the door opened again, and Janessa walked in loaded down with bags that weren't all her own. "Aw, thanks, Janess," Stacy said in her most sweet and perky voice, a wide smile on her face to add to the words. The why she said it was sincere in it's own, though it gave off the impression that Stacy was just saying it to be nice. As soon as her her bags hit the floor, Stacy leaped back off the bed, grabbing her dark gray suitcase and carrying it over the larger dresser. She placed in on top of the dresser and clicked it open while saying, "Well, I'm at least going to get some on packing done before totally giving up on the day. And then maybe we can plan to head someplace for dinner because I really don't want to cook tonight. Did you see any good pla-" Stacy cut off her own sentence as she turned around to face Janessa and discovered her sound asleep in her own bed. Stacy hadn't realized that when Janessa made a comment about how nice the bed was that she planned to become a part it so quickly. Sighing, Stacy turned back to her unpacking, carefully placing neatly folded shirts, shorts, and pants into their own separate drawers. "You can just sleep on while I continue to talk to myself like I'm insane," she mumbled to no one in the room. Or at least not anyone consious.
Cale rolled his eyes as Angela headed into the living room, knowing without even peeking in that she held the same book in her hand that she held every Sunday. He was glad, though, that Ashton would be joining him. Cale started to turn the handle on the door when Isabella's giggling reached his ears. "The invitaion was for everyone," Cale replied to her question, grinning at the excitement in her voice that she was obviously trying to hide. "You can come if you hurry up. I'd like to get there before my hair turns gray," he teased, obviously joking since vampires' hair can't turn gray with age. Finally opening the door, Cale headed outside, leaving the door open for Ashton to follow. He stepped out on the porch and leaned on the banister, staring up at the bright sun and grinning proudly at how his skin was not going up in flames. Every once in a while, Cale would take off his shark tooth and reach a hand out into the sun, feeling the agonizing burning for only a second before pulling it back inside. Cale still couldn't say exactly why he did this, but it was important for him to check if he was still a vampire sometimes. Maybe one day he wouldn't burn in the sun and then the craving for blood would fade, and Cale could return to his hometown and his old school and pretend like the past twenty years had never happened.
"I think we're all going," Rafe replied to Zac's question before calling, "Right, Luna?" in the direction of her room. He was responed by a groan and a slam of the door. "I think that's a yes," Rafe translated with a smirk, walking to the sink and washing off the dust from his hands. Luna quickly changed out of her ratty t-shirt and into a simple white tank that was about the only thing one could wear in this weather. She decided she didn't feel like changing out of her plaid pajama pants or combing her hair. Instead, she re-wrapped her hair into the same messy bun and rubbed off the remaing make-up that had collected under her eyes over the night. She grabbed her toothbrush and squeezed a glob of toothpaste on it before heading out to where everybody else was gathered. "Next time we all decide to go out, I need at least an hour warning," she demanded before shoving the toothbrush in her mouth and scrubbing half-heartedly. "Don't worry, Moon, you only slightly look like a total wreck today," Rafe teased, nodding to her messy appearence and using his nickname for her. Since her name meant 'moon' it make sense, though the nickname would fit anyone in the room. Nicole was Star because of her acting past, Andrew was Loner since he was still technically a lone wolf, and Zac was usually called loser or stupid or simply dude depending on how much reckless trouble he had gotten in that day. Rafe didn't really have a good nickname for Zac. Just as Rafe turned off the water from the sink, Luna stretched over the counter to spit into it, almost splattering Rafe's hands in white toothpaste. He just rolled his eyes at her as she wiped off her mouth, set her tooth brush beside the sink, and said, "So are we going or not? 'Cause I'm starving."
Nessa had just stepped out of the shower when her phone started vibrating and singing "Break Your Heart" by Taio Cruz, which meant Travis was on the other line. She shook her head roughly to get the water out of her ears before sliding open her phone. She barely had time to say hello before Travis suggested they head over to the lake today. Nessa didn't respond right away as she debated this. She would love to go to the lake today since it was the hot spot for hanging out with friends, but she had had her first dance pratice this morning and her legs were soar from high-kicking and splitting. Then again, she had just bought a new bathing suit that she had yet to wear, but she did just take a shower and didn't want to get dirty again in that lake water. After a pestering "So..." from Travis, Nessa finally responded with, "Of course, I want to go!" Squishing the phone between her shoulder and her ear, Nessa turned on her hair dryer and straightener, letting them heat up as she talked. "Just give me, like, half an hour. Maybe less." She had been to the lake so many times, she had a routine for getting ready to go there, and with the excitement flowing in her viens, she thought she could cut her normal time in half.
Jackson took another long sip of his mint smoothie, never taking his eyes off of his sketchbook. After enduring a morning mass with his parents, who only went there to give themselves a good image, Jackson liked to spend his Sunday's over at Fresh. He had a permanent booth there now, in the corner farthest away from the door. Which was why he had to keep listening for one the waitress to call out that his order was done. Their sandwhiches always took more time than their drinks. His pencil sketched out the shape of a little girl's head. In the picture, she was only about five or six, ten years younger than she was now. The little boy in the picture was two years older than her, but she still best him in height. They both had dark brown hair and dark green eyes, seeming more like twins than best friends. Jackson had found this photograph of himself and Carrie among his old year books, and just felt like drawing it. He hadn't hang out with Carrie much this summer, they both had things to do, but this was Jackson's why of expressing how he missed her. Just as the two circles started to look like actual people, he heard the waitress shout, "Jackson, your lunch is ready!" He nodded and finished the line of an ear before heading towards the ordering station. Normally, the waitress wouldn't address a customer by their name. They had a certain way to announce an order was done. But Jackson was here usually three times a week, and there was no one else at Fresh today. With the hot weather, he guessed all the youth were at the lake. Maybe he'd ask Carrie if she wanted to go up there later today. Put for now, Jackson had a cripsy BLT to enjoy and a sketch to finish. Ooc:// Moki -That's what I was going for.

Madison nodded in response to what Stacy said as she closed the door - even though she couldn't see it. Turning the water to just the right heat setting, Maddie stepped inside and stood, relaxed, for a moment before washing her hair. Since it was a hot day, she had sweat mixed in with her thick curls and just the thought of it made her shudder. Maddie was the type of person who hated sweat and when it mixed with her hair, she was about ready to scream. Judging by the heat of the day, Maddie guess that it was going to be this hot for the next couple of months. I'll have to cut my hair before the summer is over. I won't be able to stand this heat. She made a mental note to get her hair cut sometime during the week. Turning off the water, Maddie stepped out of the shower and turned on her blow dryer - quickly drying her wet locks. Getting dressed quickly, Maddie stepped out of the bathroom to see Janess asleep on one of the beds and Stacy unpacking.
"Good idea." She commented, unzipping her duffel bag and pulling out the only thing that wasn't clothes - an old, rabbit-like doll that she loved more than anything. Tossing the doll on top of her comforter, Maddie pulled out her clothes and looked at the closet to the other dresser, not knowing which one she wanted to use. She hated making decisions, especially about things that weren't very important.
_____
Angela felt Cale's gaze stray away from her to pay attention to Isabella. She slightly longed to go with the rest of them, but she really hated being around so many people. Screaming kids, shouting teenagers, lazy adults - just the thought of them annoyed her. Usually, she loved her Sunday routine, but today, she couldn't pay attention to the book very much. Sighing, she closed the book without bothering to mark her place, and smiled at her friends before making her way for the stairs. Maybe I'll go down to the Lake later, when the crowds of people leave. She decided, walking into her room and flipping the Tv on. During the week, Angela wasn't as lazy as she was on Sundays, and she might have actually been very excited to go out and do something, but today, she just needed to rest after a long week.
_____
Nicole smiled as Luna came in and frowned when Rafe commented on her looks. "I think you look beautiful, Luna." She said, hoping to lighten the mood a bit. She knew Luna didn't like being put on the spot for things, and always trying to find ways of making her feel better. She laughed as Luna almost spat her toothpaste onto Rafe's hand. The two were always teasing each other and sometimes it could be really funny to just watch them. Turning back to the others, Nicole suggested a place to eat; "How about Dainty's?"
Andrew heard Zac acknowledge him and turned to respond, "Hey, Zac." He flashed a bright smile and blinked as Zac's stomach growled loudly. He heard Nicole's suggestion for a place to get some lunch shrugged. It didn't matter much to him where they went to eat - just as long as he was with Nicole and her friends. Around them he felt... safe. Much safer then he had when he was just living on the streets. A group of hunters already knew about his secret, and it wouldn't be long before any others in the area would find out too and come after him.
_____
Lia was in the other room when her phone buzzed, and sprinted quickly into her bedroom to answer it before it went to voicemail. She always left her phone on vibrate because she could never find the right ringtone. Muttering a quiet "hello", Lia heard Travis suggest that she and Nessa join him down at the lake. Glancing at the wall, Lia observed the silver clock on the wall that told the time, date, weather, temperature, and held a personal datebook. Hitting the "temperature" button, Lia watched as a large 98° appeared on the screen. Perfect weather for swimming. Lia thought and heard Travis ask again. Nessa eagerly responded, saying she wanted to go and Lia figured it might be fun to get out and hang with some friends.
"Sure! We'll have a great time!" She exclaimed, smiling excitedly. She heard Nessa on her end of the line turn on her hair dryer, which buzzed quietly as it heated up. "I'll meet you at your house, Travis. I'm pretty much ready to go." She hung up the phone and dashed up the stairs to her room. Digging through her drawers, she pulled out her brand new bathing suit. Pulling it on and grabbing a towel, she left her bedroom and walked to the front door, slipping on her flip flops before walking out the door.

Janessa’s dream was anything but pleasant. In a dark corridor, looking somewhat ancient, yet with the air of the modern day, she was walking. Hearing her own footsteps in the darkness of the place, it nearly made her cringe. She managed to contain her composure, however. As she passed one of the many openings in the walls, she noticed certain brightness about one space. She entered the bedroom, noticing firstly and foremost that there was a clear, beautiful window in the center of the wall opposite the opening she was coming through. White, almost see through curtains blew in a breeze coming from the window due to being cracked open a few inches. Janessa enjoyed the breeze itself, but for some reason, there was an eerie feeling about this dream. It was nighttime, by what she could tell from the window. The stars were out and shining over the world. The crescent moon was wallowing in the thick blackness of the dark sky, and the clouds were clearing more and more by the minute. It was a beautiful setting. One that Janessa, if had the choice, wouldn’t have left for a while. Though this was only a dream, not that Janessa knew it consciously. She heard a noise from behind her, and barely managed to keep from jumping out of her wits. This place had looked so empty. Almost like renovated ruins. But there was someone else here… A hiss echoed against the walls suddenly, and Janessa was now fully aware she was not alone. Then, out of the creeping darkness, came a young teenager. He seemed normal enough. His eyes, however, seemed bloodshot. His hair seemed too ruffled; it couldn’t have been from a simple morning bed head. And when he smiled, it sent a shiver running terribly through Janessa. This was what she had been trying to avoid. Yet, now it came like an electric shock. For, the teen’s smile wasn’t normal. There was a certain sharpness about his canine teeth, and there was blood covered all over them, Janessa now noticed. He licked his lips with a hungering expression, and all of a sudden he charged. A streak and a blur filled Janess’ vision, before she saw fangs coming at her, felt a sharp pain in her neck, and blacked out. Now, she awoke from her dream in something of a cold sweat. She shook her head, realizing from her surroundings that she was still in the shabby motel room. She never thought she’d be so glad. “I guess that’s a warning to sleep later,” She said, and joined Stacy and Maddie unpacking. ~~ While Isa went up the stairs with a smile from Cale’s joke, Ashton followed, silent still, after him. To be honest, he wasn’t exactly sure what to say. Just as he decided he should ask a simple question, a streak came flying past them and stopped only a few feet in front of the two. It was Isabella, all decked up in her famous one piece bathing suit. ‘Famous’ because she had been going on and on about wanting to wear it for such a while. The group rarely went out into crowded areas. Today, Ashton supposed, they needed a change. After all, blending in is a good way to stay hidden. Though, if you hide too well, there’s an extremely good chance that people would notice your mysterious habits. Despite the fact that most vampire movies were fake, they did help for one thing in the real world. Most told of stories where the vampires were afraid to even go out at all. They would only associate with humans if they needed to get a blood drop or two. Maybe the fact they only came out at night did them in for the final part, but a lot of the reason most of them got killed in the end was because they were too ominous. They hid in the dark, they showed off their ‘tools of the trades’, and they didn’t act normal in the slightest. So, therefore, the stupid thoughts and ideas that went into portraying Hollywood vampires, was in fact, somewhat helpful. Though, not by much. “Should we run or walk?” Ashton asked. He knew that Cale and Isa would know what he meant. What he really was saying is ‘Should we get there supernatural style or just normal style?’. ~~ Zac would have laughed at the spectacle Luna and Rafe made, had he not been trying his absolute hardest to maintain the least bit of manners he had. When Andrew greeted him back, he grinned in his direction. When the lone wolf blinked at his growling stomach, he chuckled somewhat quietly. “I guess I’m super hungry,” He said, lounging both arms behind his back in a posture of slight embarrassment. When he put his arms back to their original position, he looked around the room. His eyes wandered to Luna and Rafe, just as toothpaste barely missed Rafe’s hand. Zac belched out a burst of laughter, but stopped soon after so as not to make either mad. He knew well enough that a mad werewolf wasn’t a good thing. Still, he was sure his ‘brothers and sisters’ would understand. They knew Zac could act dumb sometimes, and outright outrageous due to curiosity. But his intentions were almost always good, and that’s what usually counted, right? If nothing else, they couldn’t blame him for attempting to lighten up the mood. “Yeah, c’mon guys! I’m so hungry I think I could eat a bison! Let’s go!” He grinned yet again as Nicole suggested to go to Dainty’s but stopped showing it to think. Putting a finger on his chin in an attempt to joke around as he thought, just like in the old detective movies, he said, “I think I’ve seen that place once or twice. That sounds like a great place to eat!” He dropped his fingers and left his hands at his sides. Now he was becoming impatient. Not that the teen had much patience to begin with. He would have tapped a foot repetitively against the ground, had he not believed that was a boring way to express it. So, instead, he just sat still, darting his eyes from person to person. It was his own strange way of saying to hurry up. ~~ Travis grinned, excited now more than he had been moments earlier. “Alright, sounds awesome! Both of you meet me at my house, like Lia said. Peace!” He hung up the phone and chuckled a bit. That peace part of the sentence probably made the whole thing sound like a joke. Either that, or made him look like he was a hippy. He didn’t know. All Travis knew was that he was most likely ticking down the seconds until his friends got there. He needed a break out. This would be just the way to do it: out with his friends, having some fun, and enjoying the water in extremely hot weather. ~~ Carrie became a bit sad as she noticed the two friends she missed the most, probably the only ones that she really had, weren’t at the lake. She decided it would be a good idea to call them up. Usually, she wouldn’t really do it, but these were the two people she knew she could trust. So, she stepped out of the lake and headed to the spot where she had left her small backpack. She got there and sat down on the soft bed of grass, grabbing her pack in the process. She unzipped it to find her towel, with which she rubbed her hands on to become relatively dry, then put it down and grabbed her cell phone. She called up Jackson first. She was never entirely sure how to put in two people in the same call line, so she just did it one by one. She waited for the phone to be picked up. All she heard at the moment was the inevitable ringing.

Stacy jumped slightly when Madison walked out of the bathroom. She had become comfortable in the silence that followed when Janesaa fell asleep, and Stacy had been concentrating on precisely placing her clothes a few centimeters apart that she hadn't even heard the shower shut off. She quickly turned back to her packing, replying to Madison by saying, "I'm full of good ideas; didn't you know that?" She laughed slightly to herself before shutting the last drawer and heading back to her bed with the now empty suitcase dragging behind her. As she zipped open one of the twin duffle bags, she glanced at Madison as she struggled to chose the closet or dresser. "You better make up your mind before Janessa wakes up," she commented, paying more attention to unfolding her own blanket from home and laying it neatly on the bed. It wasn't much, but it was soft and warm and Stacy couldn't sleep in a strange place without it. "So what do you think about going out for dinner?" she asked as she smoothed out the last of the wrinkles from the blanket. She turned around to find Janessa finally waking up and unpacking as well. "Sleep not as great as you thought it would be?" Stacy asked brightly, though her smile faded a bit at the haunted look on Janessa's face. "Bad dream?" she asked with concern this time.
Cale smirked at Isabella as she rushed down, happy to see she was finally wearing the bathing suit she had been talking about since she bought it. "Well, I want to get there as fast as possible," Cale replied to Ashton. He stepped off the porched and headed towards the thin, sparse woods that was to the right of the house and also marked the shortest way to the lake. For the sake of blending in, Cale had slipped on a pair of sandals that looked brand new because of how little use they actually got. When humans weren't a factor, shoes weren't really necassary. Glancing once over his shoulder to see if Isa and Ashton were following, Cale started running through the trees, which grow thicker and more close together the farther he went. But Cale swerved through with ease. Even though he was moving faster than any human could dream of running, he was still just jogging compared to how fast a vampire could go. As the forest thinned out again, Cale slowed his pace until he came to a stop just inside the trees. Beyond where he stood, the muddy beach (no sand of course) was crowded with people soaking in the hot sun. The smell of grilled food mixed with the scent of sun screen and fresh cotton towels. A wide grin broke across Cale's face at the sight of so many people.
"That sounds as good a place as any," Luna said with a shrug as she headed towards the front door. She didn't pay attention if the others were following her or not. Her stomach only cared about getting to that food as fast as possible. "You might want to put on some shoes if she want to get inside the diner," Rafe reminded her with a smirk. "I was getting to that," Luna called over her shoulder, even though she had to change direction to go to her shoes. She plopped to the ground with an ungraceful sound and yanked on her scuffed up black boots. No matter what the weather, there were about the only shoes Luna would wear. Rafe rolled his eyes as he went to the door and held it open for everyone when he got out on the small porch.
Nessa shook her head at Travis's farewell, and dumped her phone on the fuzzy bathroom floor rug. Trying to crunch time, Nessa quickly grabbed her hair dryer and a brush, growing through each wet lock and grabbing her toothbrush from its holder with her teeth. She pressed play on her stereo with her toe, her i-pod already attached and set to shuffle. An old Taylor Swift song rung through the bathroom, and Nessa hummed along as she set down her dryer and grabbed her tooth brush at the same time. Dancing through the hallways in time with the lyrics, Nessa made the three foot walk to her room and found her bikini suit already laying out on her desk. She tugged off the tags and hurried back to the bathroom to spit in the sink, trying to tug the swim wear on at the same time. When she finally tied up the back, her straightener was blinking green, and Nessa ironed out her hair in record time. After applying a touch of water proof mascara and eye-liner, her i-pod switched to "Double Vision," so Nessa popped her i-pod out of the player and stuck in the ear buds with one swift movement. She spun in circles all the way back to room, slipping on a pair of cotton shorts and a white halter top as she danced. She grabbed her prepacked beach bag, decorated in layered styles, and removed her hot pink flip-flops from the top. She shouted a "See ya later!" to her parents even though she had no idea if they were even home to hear and slid her feet into her shoes. With her music still blasting into her ears, Nessa jogged down the street, not paying attention to the cars that were practically non-existent. Everyone just walked places most of time. It would only take her five minutes to get to Travis's, but her time was delayed a few seconds everytime she paused to break into a dance move.
Jackson set down his sandwich and whiped his hands off on a napkin as his phone vibrated against the polished wood of the table. It took him a few minutes to find it, looking behind his drink, under his sketch pade, and finally found it hiding beneath the picture. He didn't even glance at the caller ID before sliding his phone open. "Hello?" he asked in the mumbled voice of a person with a mouth full of food.

Madison nodded to Stacy, gathering all of her neatly folded clothes and placing them in the dresser. She particularly didn't like closets, but they had their pros and cons. Setting each article of clothing in a different drawer, Madison clapped her hands together and pushed all the drawers closed. Going back to her duffel bag, she pulled out a pair of hot pink converse, black flats, and black boots that laced in the back. Setting the shoes on the floor beside her dresser, Madison grabbed a collapsible mirror and set it on the wall just above her dresser. Setting all her extra things and knick knacks on top of it, Madison walked back to her duffel bag and continued to unpack other necessities. Typically Madison was a fast unpacker, always eager to get it done and have the rest of her time to do anything she wanted. Right now, all she wanted to do was get completely unpacked and rest all afternoon. Grabbing her blow dryer, toothbrush, hair brush, and straightener, Madison heard Janess jolt awake in the bed next to her. "Good morning, Sunshine." Maddie said jokingly. She always said that when people woke up, morning or evening. _____ Angela watched through her window as Cale ran through the trees to get to the lake and the rest of the coven followed eagerly. Suddenly have a change of mind, something that Angela did often, she swung open the doors to her closet and pulled out a brand new, dark blue bikini. Slipping into the silky material, Angela walked into the bathroom, brushing her hair thoroughly and putting on waterproof mascara.Grabbing her favorite hot pink towel, Angela walked down the carpet stairs and quickly stepped into her simple white flip flops. Swinging the door open, Angela took a deep breath and felt the chain around her neck rustle before stepping onto the wooden porch and closing the door behind her. Casually walking down the street, Angie decided to take the "Human Way" instead of the "Vampire Way" that Cale had taken. The lake wasn't far away, only about two blocks from the house, and Angie decided she wanted to admire the nature and trees that swarmed around the neighborhood. Turning the corner, Angela could see the lake and the muddy beach in the distance. As she got closer, she could hear the screams of children and yelling of adults. As much as Angie hated those sounds, she ignored it and kept of confident stride. Reaching the boardwalk close to the beach, she walked over to a huge cooler of free water bottles and took one - drinking it quickly. Throwing the empty bottle into a recycle bin, Angie scanned the beach for the rest of her 'family'. ______ Nicole watched as Luna pulled on her usual boots and Rafe walked to the front door, stepping out onto the porch and holding the door open. Motioning for Andrew to follow, Nicole followed her 'brother' and stepped out onto the porch. Behind her, Andrew followed happily, taking the steps down to the sidewalk and glancing down the street. Dainty's Diner wasn't very far, so he guess that they must be walking. Nobody ever really drove anywhere in NightShade. Everything was pretty much around the corner from where you were. As they were waiting for the others, Nicole spotted a caterpillar on the porch and reached down to pick it up. "Hey little guy!" She said, examining the green, furry worm. Andrew blinked and laughed, "Nicole, that things filthy! Put it down!" He said, amazed how Nicole could just pick up anything and not be fazed by it. ______ Lia walked down the white cement sidewalk, listening to the music coming from Dainty's Diner as she walked by. The Diner closely resembled a 1960s diner and she liked it there, but she wasn't going to Dainty's today. Walking past the restaurant, Lia spotted Travis's house and sped up, glad to almost be there. She stopped in front of the darkwood porch and walked up the three steps onto the wide porch. Ringing the doorbell eagerly, Lia waited a moment for him to answer the door. She looked around the porch as she waited, looking at the flower pot that rested on the ground just to the side of the door.

Janessa nodded ever so hesitantly. It was almost as if she was afraid to speak now due to the effect the dream left on her. Though, she wouldn’t allow vampires to do such a thing to her, whether they were a part of her mind or not. “Very,” She replied to Stacy. To start a pause, Janessa just continued unpacking. She headed to the closet and gave a faint smile. “I’m glad you two left the closet to me. I hate having to dig through my clothes to find what I’m looking for…” She trailed off, fingering a white blouse she had just set on a hanger and looped onto the metal bar. She turned suddenly to the two and asked, “We’re going to make sure these… things… are destroyed right? The vampires?” She asked. For the moment, only the fanged creatures occupied her mind. The werewolves weren’t a factor yet. Janessa knew that she was the one who worried most about the blood suckers, if you didn’t count Madison. Stacy always seemed more concerned about werewolves. It was no wonder, after what had happened to her so long ago. However, Janessa’s dreams had only heightened since they’d gotten closer to this town. It was almost as if she could sense the presence of supernatural beings here. Though, she knew that would be most likely impossible. She dragged her suitcase over to the closet and continued storing her things into it, still awaiting an answer to a question that she should have known the reply to. ~~ Isabella ran immediately after Cale. The giggling had subsided for the most part, and she was now her usual, non-speaking unless she felt like it, self. She ran, though, enjoying the cool breeze on her skin and allowing the feeling to take her over. She took a look around her. While most things seemed to be blurring together, her excellent vision allowed to make out the outlines of things even as she passed by them at supernatural speeds. The trees with their long, beautiful trunks made of wood that if shaved the proper way, could kill any of them in a single moment. Its branches looked magnificent, and even though Isa knew that it was a death sentence if someone were to fling her onto that sharp edge with her chest in the way, she couldn’t help but admire them. The sky was a beautiful blue, tainted by the rays coming from the sun. Those of which, should have also been a death sentence to her. Isabella knew very well that these things, beautiful in themselves, were also the things that could kill her with the snap of a human finger. She still chose to glorify in them. She had her gorgeous silver necklace to keep the sun from harming her. So she could marvel in that beauty. There was no one around who knew she was a vampire besides her coven. Whom, it was quite obvious, would never throw her onto the wooden stake of nature. She was soon by Cale’s side, having taken in the nature around her in a fresh, new way. She was done looking at it for the moment, and now she just really wanted to soak herself in the cool lake water. Ashton, on the other hand, lagged a bit behind. He had been ready to follow Isa and Cale, when he heard the door behind him open with a slight creak. He noticed Angela walking out, and he narrowed his eyes ever so slightly as he watched her walk down the human way. Why would she do that? He wondered. Then again, though, Angela had always been the type to have it her own way and change her mind with a wave. He shook his head as she disappeared out of sight, and looked in front of him to see Cale and Isabella’s figures disappearing too. He used his top speed to catch up, and his shirt nearly flew out of his hands because of the wind flurrying through so fast. He managed to catch up with them quickly. It wasn’t so hard, after all, when you could run faster than a jet propelled airplane. Soon, he skidded to a stop, just before the trees, their shield from the human eye, stopped growing. Out beyond the trees was the beach around the lake. Ashton grinned, something he didn’t do often. Though, when he stepped out of the trees, the grin was gone as if someone had slapped it away. He now felt uneasy. Too many humans… though, he was with his coven. That helped a bit. And he had had a blood bag just before he came. That helped a bit more. He’d have to get himself through the rest. ~~ Zac followed them, no sound coming really from his lips. He was more interested, like some of the rest of his pack mates, he guessed, in the food. His stomach rumbled again, signaling that it needed the substance desperately. He was about to tell them to hurry up again, though they ended up coming out of the door before he said anything. He walked beside his pack mates, falling a bit behind, but refusing to be last in line. When Nicole picked up a caterpillar and Andrew commented on it, Zac couldn’t help himself from laughing. It was simply too much to the werewolf to have to stifle his laughter. “And you think we’re not dirtier than that pesky little critter?” He chuckled, letting his laughter die down a bit. “Dude, remember the moon. And our jokes.” He grinned a big, heavy smile. One that would reflect the same on anyone else who looked. They always made jokes that people called ‘dirty’, and despite that, they always got down and dirty in the mud and sand on the nights of the moon. By the time they came home normal again, they were caked from head to toe in substances unknown, mostly dirt and grime, but still. ~~ Travis quickly headed to the door when he heard a ring. His parents weren’t home, again, so he had the freedom of being able to run anywhere he wanted in any matter he felt like. He nearly crashed into the door, though he was able to stop himself from slamming into it. Instead, he grabbed the handle and turned it, only to see a very familiar face. “Lia!” He said excitedly. “Awesome timing!” He gave her a friendly hug and took a few steps into the house, holding the door open. “After you. Nessa should be here soon, so when she comes, we’ll go head to the lake. Sound awesome?” He smiled. ~~ Carrie suddenly heard the phone pick up with the familiar sound of Jackson’s voice saying hello in question form. Carrie felt her heart skip a beat before she answered, “Jackson?” She knew it was a stupid thing to respond with, but she hadn’t talked to him for so long. And, after all, she could never be sure how he would answer back once she asked him the question she called for. “Listen, I’m here at the lake and stuff. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come? I was planning on calling Heather too,” She said.

Stacy had just grabbed a simple blue bag from inside her duffle when was headed towards the bathroom with all her toiletries banging together as she moved when Janessa suddenly turned away from the closet and asked the question that had been on everyone's mind since they arrived. Stacy paused for a moment before spinning around quickly and raising her head in confidence. "Of course," Stacy stated matter-of-factly, a wide yet forced smile on her face. It felt like Stacy's duty to be the strong one on this mission since Madison had a past with vampires and Janessa was much more worried about them than werewolves. Even though Stacy had to admit they were frightening creatures, she found them rather easily disposed of. They left an easy trail of drained bodies and could only be found at night. Even though some of the blood suckers were smart enough to live of the blood supplies in hospitals, the missing bags were noticable and one of the reasons the three huntresses were here in NightShade. "We know their here, and now all we have to do is find 'em and stake 'em." Stacy shrugged like this was an easy task, and her mind had convinced itself that it would be. Returning to her walk to the bathroom, Stacy set her bag on the counter, unzipping it to find a hair band. She scrunched her hair up into a tight bun. Her fingers brushed against the thin material of her sleeveless turtle-neck that covered the worst of her scars. As she stared at herself in the mirror, her mind flashed back to the moment when she thought she was going to die. She shook away the memory and focused on that fact that there were only vampires here, not werewolves. She strutted back out of the bathroom and scooped up her other duffle bag from the floor. Inside lay all her weapons, aside from the ones she kept on hand at all times. She shoved this bag under her bed for save keeping. "The undead don't stand a chance against us," she said before unmaking her bed covers so she could crawl in beneath them. "But we do need our rest for tonight as we begin this little hunt. So I'll be sleeping off that horrible car ride if you don't mind." Laying her head against the pillow, Stacy tried to sleep for only a few moments before her body obliged.
Cale glanced over his shoulder at Isa and Ashton, and saw the uneasy look all over Ashton's face. "Feeling alright there, Ash?" Cale asked with genuine concern. After living in this town for nearly three years, Cale had learned that Ashton didn't always want to blend in with the humans. Or at least he didn't want to be anywhere near them. At first, Cale had just assumed the urge to kill was too much, but lately he was noticing Ashton act the same way after a full bag of blood, such as today. Although Cale delt with the thirst just as much as the others, he felt less unclined to actually hunt a human out in the day like this, no matter how good the smell was. Cale still valued human life even though he no longer could be counted as human. It was a trait he had long before his cross country road trip. Sometimes, though, Cale wondered if the others in the coven thought of humans the same way as him.
Luna finally finished tying up her boots, and raced outside to join the others on the porch. She rolled her eyes at Andrew's disgust of the caterpillar. "Oh, calm your little werewolf butt down. It's just a bug. Besides, Zac's right. We're not exactly the cleanest creatures roaming the earth." After saying this, Luna continued down the porch and walking down the sidewalk in the direction of Dainty's. From here, and with her werewolf senses, she could already smell the greasy meat and fresh bread and it smelled heavenly to her empty stomach. "Now, if you all are done playing with nature, can we go get a burger?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips to show her frustration that they weren't moving fast enough. "We're coming, we're coming," Rafe said, heading to the sidewalk as well. "I don't think I can wait much longer either." He started heading towards Dainty, leaving Luna motioning to the others to hurry up as she walked behind him.
Ooc:// Going to let Lia and Travis have a moment to themselves while Nessa walks/dances to the house since she would arrive a few minutes later.
Jackson swallowed the chunk of sandwich while Carrie explained where she was. He took a quick gulp of his smoothie to wash down the door before replaying. "Yeah, I was actually planning on heading over there today anyways. As soon as finish my lunch here at Fresh, I'll be right over."

Maddie finished unpacking and putting her stuff in the bathroom when she walked back into their room. Looking around, she decided sleep wasn't something she wanted to do and unlocked the door. "I'm going down to the lobby." She said as she stepped out into the hall and closed the door behind her. As she walked down the dimly lit hallway, she looked around at the paintings that were positioned upon the wall. The air was heavy with the scent of cigarette smoke and she was happy to leave it as she stepped into the airy lobby. Walking past the front desk, she sat down at a table in the small cafe.
She observed the people around her and wondered if any of them were the vampires they were looking for.
_____
William frowned at Luna. He had never really liked her, but he put up with her attitude because she was Nicole's 'sister'. "You do understand that the only reason I said it was filthy and to put it down was because we are about to eat?" He retorted.
Nicole flashed him a look and followed behind Rafe and Luna, happily humming to herself.
_____
"Yeah! So how have you been?" Lia asked, stepping into the house and setting her things down on the floor. She leaned against the wall and looked around the house. She hadn't been there in a long time and it felt like home to be back again.
