Ok, I know that some of you guys and gals might not agree with me on this, but, if you listen to Simba (adult) singing his first line in the Hakuna Matata song, he sounds a bit like a girl. Do you guys agree with me?

He sounded like a young Jonathan Taylor Thomas to me.

Why is his voice so high pitch even though he's an adult?

Generally vocalist can sing in higher octaves than their talking voice. in this case they used a stand in for Mathew Broderick (Joseph Willliams ) Still a Adult Male singer....

i have a pretty deep voice but i have both baritone and Tenor ranges on a musical scale.

For a up-tempo song like "Hakuna Matata" it fits better. if you listen to "Can you feel the love tonight" a lower tempo song he sings in a lower pitch.

The first time I heard him sing, I thought he sounded like an unusually high-pitched guy, but certainly not a girl.
