This book is an awesome book; anyone read it? If not, then I'll post a summary.

Below is a summary of the book, as well as my opinion (we had to do a book review in class, and this book is one of my personal favorites).

Devin O’Hara is a small boy in Ireland, and has normal problems and a normal life. The town bully, Paul Chandler, beats him up, he doesn’t like going to school, etc. But, what will happen when he discovers three wolf pups that are being hunted by Squire Watson, a hunter who’s out to destroy all wolves in Ireland. Can he, his friend Katy, and his mother hide the pups from a hunter’s cruelty, or will the last wolves of Ireland be at the mercy of a killer?
The Last Wolf Of Ireland is ingeniously written, and I must say that Elona Malterre did an excellent job with the plot. Using the age-old (and getting-old) fear of wolves as an element in the story was a nice touch. I believe that this book (that I give a full five stars) is good food for thought, especially to those who fear wolves (though I don't believe anyone on this site does, but, hey; that's just my thoughts).

That book sounds brilliant! I'll keep an eye out for it...

I'm 1/4 Irish... and I go over to Ireland for a holiday every year. Do they really have wolves there? :D

They used to. Not-so-fun fact: the last wolf of Ireland was killed in Barnes Gap in 1770.
