The apocalypse is coming.

People are stubbornly refusing to believe that their world is coming to an end and are blind to the destruction around them. But among these people are two werewolves and two vampires who, never having met each other before, come together as the world crumbles underneath their very own feet. They learn about a project - something that will save them from the end. The group sets out on a journey to China, to find the great construction site where they are building arcs, which will save them from the great flood. People are dieing as the world slowly comes to its end and the group must find a way to get to China. Gaining new enemies, loosing old allies - will they survive the apocalypse?

Personality: Nicole is a girl who gives off an intimidating aura without meaning to. Although she looks like someone you would be afraid to talk to, she is actually a very friendly and worldly person. She won't judge a person for how they look but for how they treat her. She is not friendly to everyone though - if someone gets on her bad side, she shows it.
History: Nicole was born in Glen Rose, Texas and lived there with her mother and father for three years before they moved to New York, New York. Her parents were Broadway stars and their passion for the theatre grew on Nicole. When Nicole was eight years old, her mother was mugged and killed as she was walking home alone. Nicole's father retired from his career and spent five years locked up in his room due to grief. When he finally came back into the world, he became an alcoholic and completely ignored Nicole, rejecting her existence.
When she turned fifteen, Nicole became a cast member on Broadway. She never had a main role in any of the shows, being a extra in the background or member of the chorus. Without her mother, she could not bring herself to do what she really wanted to do - become an actress.

Personality: Rodney is a stern, speak-his-mind kind of a guy. If someone is in the wrong, he will make sure they know it. Sometimes he says things without thinking of what the consequences may be. This caused him to be beat up a lot in high school and he has a scar over his left eye from a when he got punched in the face Junior year.
History: Rodney never knew his parents. He spent the first four years of his life in an orphanage in Pasadena, California until he was adopted by an elderly woman who took very good care of him for ten years. When Rodney was twelve, the woman was diagnosed with cancer which eventually killed her when he turned fourteen. He was sent to a foster home in New York until he went to live on his own when he turned eighteen.

Personality: Claire is a pretty soft-spoken girl. She is not as outgoing as Nicole but she isn't shy either. Claire is not one who quickly makes friends because she feels as though she has to get to know someone well before they are a "friend" in her book.
History: Claire has always lived in New York, New York but she has been to quite a few schools. In the first grade, Claire got upset and got kicked out of the school for beating up a girl in her class and hitting the teacher. The other times she got kicked out were pretty much the same, other then the time when she was caught stealing the answers to the state test in eighth grade. She became emancipated and went to live with her best friend, Nicole, who she had met in the fifth grade.
Junior year, Claire met her boyfriend, Jackson and started doing drugs because of him. When she stopped she tried to convince Jackson to stop but he couldn't. One night, Jackson and Claire were walking home from the movie theatre and he was stabbed to death by the people who got him involved in drugs. A few days later, Claire discovered that she was pregnant with Jackson's child.

Personality: Rafe is very stubborn and can seem very cold-hearted and untrusting of the world. He has a good heart though and honestly doesn't want to hurt anyone or see anyone get hurt. When he feels responsible for someone, he can be very over protective. He is very honest to the point of almost cruelity, but he is also quick to make up for the hurtful things he says.
History: Rafe grew up in the rich part of town and attended the local private school with his three younger sisters. Although they were all perfect angels, Rafe became the trouble-maker of the family, spending hours in detention and many days off on suspensions. Early on in highschool, Rafe got involved in the drug world, but he learned quickly that selling was better than buying. Being a werewolf, Rafe often helped in intimidation when a buyer didn't seem like they were going to pay. One of these people was named Jackson. When he become very late on his payments, Rafe and a few of his back-up men went out to get the money in whatever means possible, or so were the orders from the main drug dealdf (and Rafe's 'best friend') Shane. When Rafe and the boys jumped Jackson and his girl, things got a little carried away, ending in the knife and claw death of Jackson. After Rafe came to terms with his part in the killing, he stopped staying with the gang and used up the rest of the money he had collected from working with them.

Personality: Scarlett is pretty full of herself and is very confident. Although she is younger than the others, she feels superior to most of them, maybe not in strength, but in looks and stealth. And, of course, she thinks her voice is magical, which it sometimes can be to the human ear.
History: Scarlett didn't grow up with the best family or on the nicest side of town. She often locked herself in her room even when she was barely out of her toddler years while her parents and older brother fought it out in all the other rooms. Over the sound of breaking glass, Scar taught herself how to sing and dance. As soon as she was old enough to, she began to audition in every broadway musical possible. As she became older, she gained more leads and was able to support herself in her own apartment, away from her bickering family. She never really noticed the werewolf in the background, but Scar doesn't really notice anyone except the other stars of the show.

Personality: Haley is very friendly, but not necassaily trusting. She is weary of strangers, but once someone is her friend, Haley is the greatest friend and will always be there. She never holds back when she has something to say and never backs down from a fight, which can get her into trouble sometimes. She is also very brave which also makes her reckless since she doesn't always think before acting on impulse.
History: Haley has had the normal though spoiled life of an only child, and she has always had an interest in the supernatural. She looks for things that don't quite make sense and creates a story in her mind for why that thing is so. Although she is actually very bright, Haley never did impressively well in school, always day dreaming and gazing out of the window.

Nicole Worthey stood outside Parks High School, waiting for the early bell to ring. It was her last year of high school and the year could not end soon enough! It was late April but most of the people living in New York still had to wear sweaters, unbuttoned, to keep out the slight chill in the air. Nicole shivered the slightest bit at the wing blew her hair behind her ears. Listening intently for the school bell, Nicole didn't even notice her best friend, Claire, who walked up to her.

"Hey, Nicole!" Claire exclaimed, making her friend jump.

"Isn't it great?" Claire began, "Senior year, I mean. We are almost done with High School!" She smiled and listened as Nicole began to say something in response but was distracted by a flock of birds who had landed a few yard in front of them and were now pecking at the concrete eagerly. Claire looked back up as Nicole finished her sentence and nodded like she had been listening the whole time.

"You're starting to show, by the way." Nicole said, not failing to notice that Claire hadn't been listening.

Somewhat startled by what Nicole said, Claire looked down at her slowly perking stomach. Nicole and Haley were the only ones who knew, and she wondered when others would start to notice. "Y-Yeah I can't wait! All those years in elementary school, junior high, and high school seem like they went by in a flash. I almost wish I had more time." Claire said, looking up at her friend and smiling.

Nicole was just about to answer Haley when she heard footsteps heading toward them. Turning to see who it was, she heard the school bell ring inside the school behind her. Nicole decided to ignore it until she saw who the footsteps belonged too. She was a curious one, especially when things were not very important.

Rodney Schaffner walked up the front steps of the school and walked right past the three girls who seemed deep in conversation. One of the girls watched him as he walked by but he ignored her and pushed his way through the front door and into the school.

Haley loosened her death grip on her locker as the ground stopped shaking violently. Her fingers felt sore as she slowly stretched them out, not realizing how tight of a grip she had had on her locker shelf. Her small pile of books had fallen out of her hands and now laid scattered on the ground. She sighed as she bent down and began to gather them up, tucking loose pieces of paper into random notebooks, not knowing or caring if they belonged there or not. "An earthquake?" she asked, puzzled by this. "But I don't think we've ever had an earthquake here before. Why would we have one now?"

Scarlett let out a smile shriek as the whole building shivered and clung tightly to a water fountain she happened to be passing by. With the shaking, her notebooks fell out of her arms, scattering the loose leaf pages all across the hall, mixing in the the papers of other students as they also lost their grip on their notes. Scar groaned loudly, swiping her now emtpy folder from the ground along with a few papers. She stuff them back into the folder, not planning on taking them back out. It seemed she would be destined to fail this history exam. "Scr*w it," she muttered as she tossed the notes back into her locker.

Ooc:// Do you think school should be cancelled for today because of the earthquake?

Ooc:// Yeah

Bic:// Nicole thought for a minute. "Earthquakes are extremely rare in New York. Major ones, anyway. It could possibly not have been an earthquake but what else could shake a whole school?" Pausing to think about what else could be the cause to what had just happened, Nicole heard a scream come from the end of the hall. Three girls, who looked like Sophomores, were standing against the wall, looking terrified at the ground. Stepping closer to them, Nicole saw that they were looking at a huge crack in the floor.

"Yep. Definitely an earthquake." She muttered.

Claire peered around her friend and squinted her eyes to see what they were looking at. Noticing the crack in the ground, she gasped. She knew things like this happened in California all the time, but here? Suddenly, the loudspeaker overhead turned on and one of the ladies in the office spoke;

"All students report to your homeroom class immediately".

"I hope so," Haley said, wrapping her arms around herself and finally starting too feel as scared as some of the other students looked. "I would feel a lot safer in my own home than where at school." She chewed on her bottom lip, a nervous habit that had developed when she was in middle school.
