Animation Source Forums

One of our animation source friends just sent me an interview he did with Chuck McCann--the voice behind Dumptruck and Gibber. Here's how it went:

1. What was it like playing Dumptruck and Gibber on Talespin?

GREAT FUN GOOD CAST..ALL FRIENDS.

2. How did you come up with the personality for the character?

EASY I LOOKED AT THE CHARACTER AND FIT THE VOICE TO HIM BEING CAREFUL TO NOT SOUND LIKE ANY OF THE OTHERS.

3. If you had the chance, Would you reprise the role again?

IN A HEARTBEAT.YEAH!

4. Do you have any favorite lines from the show?

LUNCH!

5. The sky pirates seemed like likeable bad guys. What are your thoughts on them?

?????

Hmmm...I guess Mr. McC didn't have any thoughts on them....still, this was a nice interview.

Wow!!! That's not the answer you would expect

Cool interview, thanks for sharing it Jer! Would you be able to post it as an article on the site?

I could give it a try; how would I do it though?

Go to the site, then click "Send to the site" (under the banner), choose "article" then follow the instructions!
