Ok so this role-play takes place before the current events of http://www.animationsource.org/board/stay-alive-t32679.html. It's me and Egg, rping our anthro characters.

Egg's Char:
Cole (maybe his parents and family etc.)

Mine:
"Scotty" (And his parents)

(We might add more later, I don't know yet!)

Here we go!

"Scott!" a voice echoed as the young anthro slept. "Scotty!" the voice chimed again. Scotty groaned burying his head in his pillow. "You're gonna be late, son! You have to go meet Cole this morning!". Scotty's eyes shot open and he sat up looking at his Dad. "Awww man!" he yelped jumping out of bed and hurrying to get his clothes on and brush his teeth.

Scotty raced out of his house with his hat in one hand and his skateboard in the other.

"Scott! Aren't you gonna eat first?!" His dad called looking out the door after him while sipping his coffee.

"No Dad I'm good! Tell Mom I love her and we'll be at the skate park, bye!" he shouted all in one sentence before jumping onto his board and speeding down the side walk, pulling his hat on then flipping it backwards, the dog tags on his necklace clanged together as he used his right foot to propel the board forward and gain speed.

Scotty slowed down when he saw Cole. He had to jerk the front of his deck up though due to his speed and nearly fell as it skidded to a halt. "Hey Cole!" Scotty barked when he stopped and picked up his deck.

As they rolled down the sidewalk, Scotty could faintly hear him humming. That made Scotty think of when they were younger, Cole use to love singing. Scotty would play a song on his guitar and Cole would instantly start singing along. Scotty missed those days.

Cole slowly glanced at Scotty out of the corner of his eye, remembering the days when he would sing alon to Scotty's guitar playing, and how he would sing for money and they'd split it. He missed singing. He sighed, and took a shaky breath in, and looked at Scotty, his one and only best friend.

ooc: I was thinking, Scotty would talk to Cole knowing he listened, but he just talked to him, ya know?

"I'm pretty sure I messed my deck up!" Scotty began slowly swerving back and forth "Ya know when I tried to grind the hand rail at school? Well I think my wheel came loose." He said looking at Cole not expecting an answer but knowing he'd listen.

Cole looked at him, and chuckled the lightest he could under his breath. He jumped a crack in the road and skated down to the rink, where many others skated happily.

Scotty followed him, he ollied turning into a kick-flip over a rail. Then he dropped into the half pipe with a few other skaters. Completing a 360 when he reached the top and rolling smoothly back down making a few other skater applaud.

Scotty landed on the top of the pipe, and began examining his wheel. He heard a few guys laughing and looked up to see the skate punks who always found some one to pick on. He grabbed his deck when he saw Cole and slid off the pipe approaching them.

"Hey!" Scotty shouted dropping his deck and racing over to them. He shoved the biggest guy back away from Cole and stood in-front of him. "You guys need to get, lives!" he snapped "What'd he ever do to you?" he growled clenching his fists.
