To me Balto's a hero, and the movie made me feel a sort of amazement and awesomeness for him. The true story was bent a lot but i still loved it; he's a wolf-dog hated by the town, and he saves the town!... And my liking to has given me a sort of happiness. And I've had good memories of this liking to him! What makes Balto so special To You?

Nostalgia.

It's a great film with a good story and characters [and as mentioned in previous topics], will always be one of my favorite animated films. But for the most part these days, it's for the nostalgia.
