Miroku was polishing his staff up when he noticed Sango and Kagome walking towards him. "Hello ladies, back so soon?" He asked. He vagely remembered they left to go talk about boy troubles, go figure.

Kirara mewed as she saw her master comming.

"Kirara!" Shouted Shippo, prancing up to play with the two-tailed cat and pulling out one of his favorite toys. "Do you wanna play with this?"

Kagome smiled light-heartedly at Shippo's remarks, watching the little fox dance around Kirara. Inuyasha scoffed. "What a kid."

"Yeah, we're back," Sango said in reply to Miroku's comment. "And what have you been doing in that time?" She cocked an eyebrow curiously.

Kirara replied with a "Mew!" and danced around Shippo's short legs.

Miroku laizly waved his hand in responce to Sango, "Oh, this and that. Talked with the villagers." He shortly explained.

Sango nodded curtly. "Ah."

Inuyasha stood from his place on the ground. "So, now that Kagome and Sango are back, aren't we gonna get going? Naraku's probably just getting stronger."

"Awww, but I wanted to stay for a while!" whined Shippo.

"We don't have time to stay for a while," hissed Inuyasha.

"But it's fun here!"

"You little--"

"Kagome!"

"Osuwari!*"

Inuyasha fell face-first into the ground, pulled by his beads. Shippo laughed.

"What was that for?!"

ooc: *"Sit". I don't know whether you watch the Japanese version or the English version, but whatever.

Miroku sighed as he watched this, "Please, Inuyasha. " He stood up. "You are being very immature in front of these fine ladies." He commented with lisure. Kirara watched Inuyasha doubtfully.

Inuyasha stared at Miroku with an irritated scowl, face still in the dirt, but said nothing else.

"He might have a point, though," Kagome interjected. "Naraku is getting stronger all the time."

Sango nodded. "That's true. Think about your Wind Tunnel, Miroku..."

Shippo sighed. "I still don't see why that makes us have to go so soon." He turned and shook his head, mumbling, "Grown-ups! They make no sense!"

Miroku looked at shippo with kind eyes, "because if we are too slow we'll never defeat Naraku."

Shippo sighed in defeat. "But we could still stay a little longer," He pressed, smiling and spinning his top for Kirara to chase.

Kirara purred and chased after the top.
Miroku smiled a little, "Well Inuyasah?"

Inuyasha didn't answer for a moment."Fine," he huffed at last, "But not for too long!"

In the village there was a hut, it was a damaged old hut and smoke came out from every exit. Inside a older demon built away at metal.

Miroku glanced to the village. "Is that a fire?"

"Finally, something interesting's happening! I bet it was caused by a demon!" Shouted Inuyasha, jumping to conclusions about as fast as he jumped towards the flames.

"Inuyasha, wait!" Called Kagome.

He didn't.

"Well," said Sango, "We'd better go after him. Come on, Kirara!"

The older demon was battle tired, his armor cracked and skin covered in soot. He made his way towards his workshop when he heard Inuyasha. "What?" He called out.

"Inuyasha wait!" Miroku shouted.
