PLOT: In the valley of Death, there is a small laboratory where a small group of scientists have gathered... they experiment with the materials around them... which are humans and animals. Amongst the midst of their madness, these scientists have combined the human DNA with the animal DNA, forcing humans to mutate into animals and vice versa. The experiment is a success and the lives of which they had stolen are ruined forever. The scientists laughing, they force their experiments into the wild.

The specimen, disgusted by their identities, cannot return to their homes. But what is soon discovered is that the scientists did not severe the bridge of possibly shifting in between forms...

With nowhere to go, these group of experiments journey to find a cure or a way to return to their original forms.

The journey begins...

Personality: Hyper, bubbly, and in-your-face basically describes her. She has a very sarcastic and snarky nature about her but most of the time she is very eccentric. She's very neutral and tries to see both sides to an argument and never usually takes sides unless she comes up with a conclusion she agrees with. Sometimes she can be impulsive and not think things through. With horse DNA now in her, she is becoming more stubborn and more jumpy.
History: Dana was born and living in the state of Oklahoma until the day she was kidnapped by the group of scientists who needed people to experiment on. She was drugged and thrown in the back of van and driven to Death Valley where the lab is located. She was in the group of people to be transformed into animals. The animal her DNA was combined with was a horse and so when she became fully conscious, she discovered that she was a horse. After escaping and figuring out how to shapeshift, Dana shifted back into human force and now only uses her horse form when she needs quick speed. However, having horse DNA within her has made her very stubborn and more jumpy to certain things.

Personality: Gluttonous and never seems to have a full belly. Angelus will love to stuck her mouth full of something if it were possible of her. She does so as a human, which kind of confuses people. Being a pack animal, Angelus will want to quickly assert herself as the dominant female and treat others as her loyal pack members and friends. So in one way she's definitely a social person, but what makes her hard to get along with others is her dominance instinct.
History: How the scientists manage to capture her in Africa no one will ever know. However there are rumors that there are institutes out that far too. However the case, Angelus was captured and shipped over to America, where she was taken to Death Valley to be used in their experiments. Angelus was one of the subjects used to determine if she could truly become human. When Angelus awoke, she realized she was no longer the spotted hyena she was when she was conscious and now had to deal with being in a human's body.

Personality: She has an interesting, complex personality with many aspects. She can be loyal, but is independent at the same time. She hates to rely on anyone but herself, but will defend her friends with her life. She often keeps her emotions hidden, except for anger. That, she will often show. It can take a bit of coaxing for her to be social and friendly, but she truly does have a good heart. She finds emotional, mushy situations awkward, and has almost no interest in a relationship with a male. She is curious, but not impulsive, thinking before sticking her beak/nose into anything. She can act a bit like a leader, and is strategic and clever.
History: First a hawk, she somehow found herself caged in a labratory. It wasn't long before she realized she was also human. After escaping and figuring out that she could switch between the two forms, she found that it is more convenient to be a human, in terms of communication. However, she still spens quite a bit of time as a hawk, her natural form.

Personality: Travis is very outgoing and happy-go-lucky. He is very friendly and will make friends with almost anybody. He can walk up to a person and pretend that he's known them for his entire life. He's very bubbly and sarcastic. He's also very talkative. He can also be very stubborn and annoying, and when he's angry or annoyed, he's very snappy.
History: He was born in Minnesota, and the youngest of three. He loved to climb trees and fell off one when he was seven. He loved watching the sunsets at his house, and absoultley loved the snow. He loved to fish and overall he loved water. Once when he was ten, h tried to make friends with a bully at school, but the bully refused and punched him, they got into a fight. The bully brought a pocket knife and cut him on the arm. He has a two inch scar on the side of his arm. But that didn't stop him from being friendly, it just taught him to be more careful around people.

Personality: Stripes is very timid and shy for a tiger, he doesn't really like to be around anybody. But when people get to close he growled and tries to bite them. He hates being annoyed and sometimes small children. But he can be gental and caring to the animals/ people he knows.
History: Stripes was born in a zoo in North America, he was the main attraction. He hated it when children would press their flat faces againts the glass and look at him. He hated being confiened and tried to escape several times. But ended up getting tranqulized and put back into his cage. He had never known his parents because his mother died, and his father was tacken away to a diffrent zoo. They ended up putting another tiger in the same cage, and they got into a fight. He has a scar running down his back, and a small on on his cheek. After that he was shipped some where, he was put to sleep for the entire ride, whhen he woke up he was in a cage. He managed to escape, but was as a human. He found out how to switch back into a tiger, and enjoyes being human and tiger.

Personality: Drew is exactly how his born form suggests, sly like a fox. He doesn't always cause mischief, though. He mainly does things in secret, being very cautious about it. He's rarely caught, but whenever the off chance he does comes, he always has a Plan B for what to say or what to come up with: a story. He's able to influence very well, but at the same time, he's also easily influenced himself. He's a bit of a loner, because he's never been and doesn't exactly know how to be 'one who has friends'. But if you open up to him you'll be able to show him that it's not all that bad. He's also afraid of humans with guns or weapons. He's had bad experiences.
History: When he was a young kit, his parents were killed for their coats by humans with guns. Their bodies were taken away and Drew never got to see them again. This devastated him to the point where he turned almost into a complete loner. This also ruined his outlook on most humans. Only later did he learn that only the ones with weapons were bad.

Personality: Avienda (sometimes called Avie) tends to keep to her isolated and independant nature. Because of her life as a snow leopard, she is very wary of humans and shies away from any human contact. Although she usually doesn't say much and keeps to herself, she is a great listener for anyone who just needs to vent. She doesn't usually give any good, logical advice, but she'll leave your company with a comforting word or touch. Avie doesn't like to pick fights and she won't help a person in a fight unless they are a good friend to her or mean something to her. However, if she does feel in danger or if someone she loves is in danger, Avie is a feirce feline and becomes blinded by rage. When she's like this, she's not one to let her enemies go when they give up, instead she won't stop the attacks until her enemy is dead. After one of these killings, Avie never feels much regret and blocks out any guitly feelings she may have.
History: Avie grew up wild in Siberia, the single kit of young snow leopard. Her mother taught her to stay away from humans, and Avie listened to every word she said. When Avie set out on her own, though, she find it easier to escape the human eye than her mother made it out to be. Avie grew cocky and no longer watched out for signs of humans. Then, when she was hunting, a loud humming metal bird flew over the land and shot Avie with some sort of thorn. Avie tried desperately to get the thorn out of her shoulder, and ran away as fast as she could when she finally did. But then the word became fuzzy and her legs no longer works right. Just before she blacked out, she noticed a small group of humans marching towards her. When Avie woke up in a cage in the back of that same metal bird, she realized it was humans her had caught her.

Avie learned to rely on the other animals and humans in the lab, though she didn't trust any of them. She figured that if they were all in the same trouble, they could at least help each other out. After being released from the lab, Avie just wants to return home to Siberia, and knows that the only way to get there is by one of the metal birds that she will learn are called planes. And she can only get on one if she's in her human form. While traveling, Avie stays in her snow leapard form for the majority of the time, but changes to human when it is conveniant.

Ooc:// Moki Hunter and Black Rose - Both accepted! Now we may begin the rp. We're starting from where the experiments are left in the wild and are coming up with a plan of action. At the beginning they really haven't figured out how to shift between forms, so the humans are stuck as animals and the animals are stuck as humans for now.

She couldn't believe it. Once she was a human. But now looking down at herself, she was no longer human-like. Four legs, each rounded off with a strong and solid hoof. Her neck was long, her chest wide out and broad, her eyes big and all seeing, she even had a tail! Dana Michaels was no longer Dana Michaels but Dana the horse. Yes she was now a horse, an animal, which was on the exact opposite ratio of the scale. She was born a human, lived as a human, but now lived as a horse. This was all part of the experimentation the scientists had done not only to her but to many others at a laboratory from which they had been turned loose.

Dana's ears flickered and she snorted and began to kick at the dirt in frustration when she thought about them. She couldn't speak for everyone else, but knew that none of them were having a very pleasant experience in the forms they were in. The humans were now animals and the animals were now humans, all to be a part of a sick game.

But now they were turned loose. Where else was there to go? "So guys," neighed Dana, who quickly backtracked and wondered how she was able to do that but remembered that she was a horse. "What're we going to do now?" She didn't have any idea if they would even get along with each other but there was still a flicker of hope in Dana that they would at least tolerate one another.
