PLOT: A heavy blizzard has blown through Kaltag, Alaska, leaving many of its residents to leave and find shelter in other parts of the state. In their haste, the people had forgotten they had left behind a kennel filled with new/former race dogs who don't have an idea that the blizzard was even happening. Hungry and needing to run, these dogs escape from their kennels and expect a warm world of delight to greet them...

... however, they were wrong. Now forced to work together in order to survive, these dogs must migrate on the same trail their owners have in order to find them too. But, with some many dogs and so many different ways of thinking, will it be as easy as they think it would be?

* NO GOD-MODDING. Your character is not invincible. Also, no Mary-Sues. Your character isn't perfect either. Make a flawed character; it makes it more fun to rp
* THIS IS AN ADVANCED RP. That means that sentences should be at least 5 or more sentences long
* NO WOLF-DOGS. They make very poor sled dogs. We'll be using real sled dog breeds. Look here for the list of breeds: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sled_dog
* NO FUTURE MATES. Have a relationship develop over the course of the rp

Personality: Mishka is very hot-headed and competitive, making her kind of hard to befriend. In fact she doesn't have a lot of friends. She immediately assumes herself to be a leader, though there are other dogs who are much, MUCH more wise than her. She doesn't really think of what she's going to say before saying it, so she can say something hurtful without really thinking about her words. She doesn't really like to be told what to do. Every once in awhile Mishka shows her nice side, but overall she is more or less likely to make a sarcastic comment about you.
History: Mishka came from a litter bred by two skilled racing dogs. Therefore she has the racing blood in her. She lived on a racing farm where she was mentored by an older and very grumpy former race dog who did not take mercy to teaching her. Therefore this was when she developed her 'hardened' personality, which she had gotten from him. She was spayed by her owner because he wanted her as a racing dog, not as a breeding dog. Eventually she was sold off to a mushier in Kaltag and was put in the kennel with a bunch of new and former race dogs. Then the blizzard hit...

Personality: Bouncy and happy go-lucky. Unlike Mishka, Maxwell is one of the most laidback race dogs. However, that doesn't mean that he can't get serious. He is very serious when needed to be. He tries to look out for everyone and feels like he has to be the responsible one in the bunch of race dogs.
History: Maxwell was sired by a racing legend and lived with his mother, who was a breeding dog, for a short period of time before being taken away from his family. As he was the first born, this made him more valuable because he was big and strong. In no time Maxwell was taught the basics of dog sledding and was lead dog for his own team for a short period of time before he was outclassed by a stronger Siberian Husky dog. Since then he was a team dog, which he liked as a position and didn't really mind that he was no longer lead dog. During one of his races, there was an accident, and Maxwell broke his leg. He was taken for medical assistance where his leg was treated, but unfortunately was never the same. So he now walks with a limp.

After this, Maxwell was retired from racing and became a breeding dog. He has sired many litters and over this time has developed a fatherly-complex, not to just his pups whom he never met, but to any other dog who comes within his vicinity. He was living with some of his former teammates in Kaltag when the blizzard hit...

Personality: Color is a very 'colorful' individual. He is often nervous when around other dogs but gets used to them very quickly. He is not the strongest sled dog and for that he is a wheel dog, which he doesn't mind in the slightest. Around females he is often tongue-tied. He is dorky and clumsy, but he's not trying to hide it. In fact he embraces himself for who he is. Color is very neutral and friendly so he really doesn't have many enemies as far as he is concerned.
History: Color used to live in the Southern USA with his parents. Eventually when the owner studied the breed he realized a hot environment in Oklahoma was too much for husky breeds and they moved to Alaska. Color was on a few other sled teams before, always moving around and never really having a permanent team to be on. Not that he minded, Color liked to see new faces. He, unbeknown to him, was actually on a team with Maxwell before Maxwell's accident, but neither remember the other. Color is a bit concerned about Mishka's attitude.

Balto-Kodiak - It seems that you have not read the rules. I specifically wrote that wolf-dog's are unacceptable to this rp. Also, judging by how your bio is, I don't think you're advanced for this rp, unless you'd be willing to provide me a sample post.

History:Scarlett was born in a barn during the mid of summer. Her mother died because of having been in dog fights and getting hit good enough in the stomach causing great internal bleeding. She had an older brother when she was birth. But a human had found her in the barn and took her home. There she has been the whole time and she still search for her brother.

Personality: She can be rather hot-headed and impulsive, and is very stubborn as well. She is loyal to those close to her, but hates having to ask for help or rely on anyone.
History: Keesha was originally just born to a breeder who raised huskies. She had five siblings, of which two died from random birth defects. Keesha was the runt of the litter, and the breeder was forced to practically give her away. Keesha grew under the loving hand of a newly-wed couple who loved dogs. However, the wife died from cancer when Keesha was two. Keesha was forced to leave because of neglect, as the husband was absorbed in grief, barely able to take care of himself. Keesha soon found herself training to be on a sled team, where she has been for a few months now.

Personality: Jinks is very secretive and cunning, she isn’t one to start conversation or show any sign of happiness towards others. She’s very elusive with everyone and has a very short fuse. Although she isn’t the best with others she usually is pretty good at doing her job (Even though she hates it) she would love to be wild and is known for disappearing quiet often. Of course, she lacks the knowledge of how to survive so she usually comes back. She can be described as the quiet one, not your favorite girl, but rather the one girl you hardly know about until she blows up on you.

History: Jinks was born into a rater large litter of six, she was the middle pup. Not the biggest, not the fastest, not the strongest, and defiantly not the most lovable. She was born into a breeder who was sweet and loving, though, Jinks never shows affection, she was quite fond of her owner. Jinks was never sold, for she had a lack of ‘fire’ which was understandable. And so her owner shipped her off to training kennel. The kennel didn’t help nor harm her; she was content with her life for the first few months. Yet, after a period of time she longed for the feel of fresh snow on her pads, and cold wind ripping through her fur. And so, she became the routine ‘bad apple’ of the place. She’d snap, claw, howl, and bark, but would never directly speak with the other dogs. Jinks isn’t quiet sure if the other dogs hate her or not, but, to be honest, she doesn’t care.

"D*** this cold," growled Mishka as she heard the wind howling greatly outside. "We can't even leave! What kinda weather is this?" She licked her lips and paced back and forth restlessly. The dogs had escaped from their kennels but when they ran to see the outside world, they were greeted with a lick of disaster. A blizzard was going on, and so all the dogs had retreated back inside. "I hate this! Where is my mushier? Where are my humans?!"

"Calm down Mishka," whined Color patiently as he watched the malamute pace back and forth. "Please stop pacing, it makes me nervous." He shuddered as the wind began to pick up and thrashed itself against the walls of the kennel. It was only because of the walls that they were not yet ambushed by the wind. "I wish we could go home..."

"This is home you idiot!" snarled Mishka. "Well it was home... until the humans left us!"

"Please Mishka..."

"Everyone calm down!" cried out Maxwell, an older Samoyed who stood up and who awkwardly leaned more on one leg than the other. "Arguing and yelling isn't going to help us out of this mess!" A calmer individual, Maxwell preferred to examine the situation with reason. He was finding Mishka's restlessness and overall meanness to be very, very annoying. "Mishka, nut up or shut up." He chuckled a bit at the joke but otherwise retained his calm exterior.

Personality: He talks but not that much. Every so often he would run around trying to think of something to do. He is Helpful in times of need and does a lot of work. Hes loving and Caring. He also can't stand being alone.
History: He was born in russian but was moved to akaska where he joined the sled team. He never knew his parents and never even spoke of it. He didn't know if he had a brother sister or even a cousin. Ever since he can ermember he has been a sled dog. Well other then his puppy ages.

RP Example: Lesher was trying to find a way to stay warm it was so cold out, He found a place where he can stay warm and ran inside of it and he meet up with the rest of his old team there. "Man its cold." He said and he was looking back outside. Then he said "I never remember it being this codl before." He looekd back inside and layed down waiting for the storm to stop.
