One night a babysitter came over and shooed the cats away and called animal control to take them because she hates cats. When the cats get there, they are immediately freed by a female dog and they befriend her and she introduces them to her boy "friend". The cats don't know how to get home and they set out together to find the cats' home. Sapphire's blue-green eyes gazed down the long staircase of her master's home. She watched the strange lady come into the house, and wondered what would become of her.

Ruby walked over to Sapphire and said "She looks like a bad lady, Sapphire. She may be a cat hater by the way she's glancing at us. I can't believe our humans are letting this lady into our house."

Sapphire nodded, and carefully stepped her dainty paws down the first ledge, laying there and winding her tail around her feet. She saw the strange-woman glance at her in a hateful way, and Sapphire couldn't help but lash her tail back. She glanced back up at the white cat behind her. "What do we do?"

Ruby shrugged and said sadly "I don't know Sapphire. I just know that she's a cat hater and we have nowhere else to go."

The woman, glaring at the cats, wandered over to the phone and so happened to dial the animal control number. She patiently waited for someone to awnser.

Ruby looked at the lady and said "I wonder what that lady is doing. She looks like she's doing something that she's not exposed to."

Soon after the woman hung up, she laid out a carrier with some canned cat food in it, waiting for it to lure the cats in.
Sapphire, quite gullible strutted right in.

Ruby walked into the other one and started eating. He smiled and said "That was nice of her. This food is good."

Sapphire, her mouth full, just purred enthusiasticly. She jumped when the carrier door slammed shut.

Ruby hissed and tried to scratch the lady as she shut the door. He yelled "You can't do this, lady! Our masters will get angry at you and get you in deep trouble."
