I'm going to make two separate polls on this. THIS poll is out of all the disney sequels, which one was the best compared to their previous movie!! (NOT which was the best out of the other sequels.) And if your best isn't listed, select "other" and tell me in the comments which movie you picked. You CAN change your vote if you want to. NOTE: I did search for this kind of topic and nothing came up, but if I happened to miss something, please don't hesitate to tell me. Thank you!

However the only one I think about equal is probably "The Rescuers Down Under". It was made when they still had excellent animators AND writers. ^this jeesh Roi, you always take the words out of my mouth! xD Lol

The only one I liked was the Little Mermaid sequal, but it wasn't better than the first.

Patch's London Adventure and Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamps Adventure were both very well done sequels. Both had style and flare, and both added to the stories instead of infringing upon the original classic masterpieces that they stemmed from. Some sequels tend to do that a ton at least in my opinion.

I would say The Lion King 2. (which is not listed in the poll) I also quite liked "Kronk's new groove" (sequel to "Emperor's new groove") pretty much (not listed either)
I've never been so fond of "The Rescuers", neither the original or the sequel. But it's clear that the animation in the sequel is *much* better than the original. It's the only "true" Disney sequel ever made, because it was released in theaters and made by the true Disney Feature Animation teams. (whereas the DTV sequels were animated abroad)

I think Brother Bear's sequel was pretty good compared to the others. But yeah, Bambi 2 was pretty well made for a sequel so... X3 Though most of the other sequels listed there kinda sucked... in my opinion XD

Honestly, none of the Disney sequels could ever be as good as their predecessor, but I can think of a couple that, to me, come close to being as good or better than the original:
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride - Probably one of the most successful animated Disney sequels ever. The story is well continued, though it could stand on its own if you hadn't seen the original.
The Rescuers Down Under - First animated sequel and considered the best overall. I need to rewatch it again, but from what I remember of it, it was glorious.
Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure - I think the story was predictable, but the added backstory between Tramp and Buster, as well as continuing the authentic look of the original film, makes this superior to many other Disney sequels.
And Return to Neverland gets an Honorable Mention in my book, mainly for the more realistic time period and the surprise at the end.

Honestly, in my opinion, there are very few Disney sequels that top the originals. I think the best ones are The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, and The Rescuers Down Under. Other than those, the other sequels listed don't pick up my appeal at all, or just weren't as good as the original to me.

It's the only "true" Disney sequel ever made, because it was released in theaters and made by the true Disney Feature Animation teams. (whereas the DTV sequels were animated abroad) surprisingly, on the Tangled DVD.. there's a countdown of Disney's 50 animated films.. and Fantasia 2000 is listed as one of Disney's 50 films, but then so was Dinosaur, (which is only limited animtion(the Dinos and the Lemurs) against live action backgrounds)and produced in a some secret lab ) so I don't know.. I know that F2000 was also done by WDFA, so that and Rescuers Down Under and maybe the new Winnie the Pooh movie (don't remember if WDFA did that) would be the only true in Sequels/Spinoffs in my book... well, I did enjoy F2000 very much not as good as the original but kinda close.. and I'll always have a soft spot for RDU, though the original has a better storyline..
