Inside the hospital room, a soon-to-be mother lay, ready to give birth. Only moments later, a healthy baby girl was born, placed gently in the mother's arms. Pride shimmered in her blue eyes.
Soft cries echoed through the midnight air as the baby opened her mouth, wailing.

Her eyes opened, the full moon reflected in their amber depths.

----Plot----

The legend of werewolves is wrong. While they do exist, they are not humans forced to change into rabid animals under the light of the full moon. No, they have to be born under the full moon, at the stroke of midnight. While incredibly rare, Terra happens to be one.

She discovered when she could shift on accident, when she was ten. She has kept it secret for four years, afraid of what might happen. But as events start to unfold, it gets harder and harder to conceal. Desperate for help, she turns to her friends, only to find the same shocking truth. Despite the slim -almost nonexistant- odds, they were werewolves too.

They soon find themselves being hunted by an ancient tribe, led by the scarred werewolf Marius. They seek to destroy the humans, believing it is their rightful place to rule, werewolves being a superior species in their minds. Prophecies have been foretold about a group of four werewolves, who instead of destroying on world, join them together.

The task is hard and dangerous, but it's better than the alternative. Can Terra and her friends bring the two worlds together? Can they even survive?

~I do want this to be at least semi-advanced. Please, post around two paragraphs. (A paragraph means five detailed sentences, by the way.) Just one is fine for the slow parts, but please try not to let it get that short. The occasional case of writers' block is excused, but try not to lean on that excuse.

~You may not get accepted; it depends on your entry. If you aren't, feel free to ask about it through PMs, though please don't be rude about it.

~No cussing (that includes the other word for "heck"), even censored. Also try to refrain from using the Lord's name in vain. (This won't be enforced as strongly. But please try not to do it too often.)

~You can have up to three characters, though only one can be Terra's friend, and one has to be part of Marius' tribe.

Personality: She can be gentle and almost motherly at times, but has a temper that flares easily. Though she would never kill, she certainly isn't afraid to injure any of those who try to harm her friends.
Fiercly loyal and almost too trusting at times, she would always back the underdog in a fight, and will stick by her friends through thick and thin.She can be rather impulsive, and when paired with her strong curiousity, she is given a tendency to jump head-first into things without thinking.
Physical Description: With a tall, lithe build, she has the looks of an athlete, though she's rather clumsy in reality. Terra has dark hair that looks almost black, a small wave giving it a bouncy appearance. It's often messy and tangled, framing her curious face. Her eyes the usual amber, she has the barest hint of freckles across her nose, and a small scar on her cheek.

Personality: He can be rather quiet, plotting and scheming rather than acting. He'll often let others do the dirty work while he delivers the verdict. Prone to mood swings, he's unpredictable, and often dangerous.
History: His parents were incredibly superstitious, and when he let it slip he was a werewolf, even they shunned him. Eventually, he left home, starting a life alone, an outcast. He began taking in other outcasts, forming a tribe. He convinced them that they are the superior species, that they should rule, that they should no longer have to hide. He was corrupted by the thought, almost driven mad by the desire to destroy all humans, and to build a new world for himself, out of the ashes.
Physical Description: Three jagged scars run across his face, cutting though his right eye and blinding it. He is rather pale, and his amber eyes are a slightly darker shade than usual. His face has an almost gaunt look to it, the features sharp and angular.

Fear(s): Going to the dark side and leaving his friends unprotected.
Personality: Kaden is a hard figure to match. He is mysteriously secretive a lot of the time, and he always seems reserved to thinking. His strong physic make for a hard enemy if you're trying to get to him, but he doesn't let it go to waste. Although he makes himself seem like a loner, he cares about his friends deeply and knows if it weren't for them he would be bitterly alone. He would pay back their kindness with his life, and willingly puts himself at risk for that reason. He does a lot of things that seem stupid and reckless, but ultimately are for the better. He tends to sacrifice parts of himself and never allows others to know it. If they do figure it out, he acts standoffish and almost cold. He doesn't like saying exactly why he gives away so much, or why he does things after a lot of thought and not just out of impulse, but if someone were to figure it out, let's just say things may get strange.
Physical Description: Kaden is a strong, athletic looking type, but not with bulging model muscles. It's more of the 'hardened after time' physic you would get from playing many sports over the years. He had course, black hair and fiery amber eyes that a lot of the time just seem dark brown matched with his hair. His skin is tanner than average, but not too dark either. You would usually see him wearing a short sleeved shirt with perhaps a jacket and jeans.
*His wolf form has the same coat color as his human hair, and his eyes of course are the same color as his human self's.

Kaden worked his ways around through the forest, weaving and twisting through the dense paths. He put his nose up to the air and let it gather the scents of the city before following it's trail. It finally led him back home. He sighed in relief. He put his hands in his pockets and swiftly maneuvered through the buildings and streets crowded with people.

He was late for school... oh well. It probably didn't matter anyways, he decided. After all, one day missed of school? Did it really matter? He continued off in search of something he didn't know.

Personality: Generally kind, but has a short temper. She tends to 'lurk' though she doesn't mean to. Diana walks very lightly, as to not be heard, but this is a natural thing for her. She tends to be slightly attracted to dangerous situations, but can handle herself easily. She is also really good with animals. To people who don't know her, she seems rather strange and most people don't like it.
Physical Description: About average height, fit body, hair that is dark blond (almost brown) at the top and gets lighter as it reaches the tips, and amber eyes. Roleplay Example:

Diana looked around at all of the eyes on the ground. Again, she had gotten herself into trouble. But what was she to do? She wasn't about to let gang of people mercilessly beat her into the ground. The group had jumped, well...tried to jump her, as she was walking away from the school. So, as a result, she went haywire. She put one of the people in the hospital, but what do you expect from a werewolf? Not that any of them knew that, but still. At least the police weren't involved this time. This wasn't the first time people tried to gang up on Diana. She was too strange and people didn't like it at all.

The principal of the school walked back into the field that Diana and three other people, the names of which escaped her, stood silently. The principal, Mr. Sanders, understood that Diana was constantly picked on and didn't blame her for going haywire on the group. Still, fighting on school property was prohibited. And with that, he had to suspend the tree other people and Diana. Mr. Sanders handed them their slips, and sent them on their way, stopping to apologize to Diana, whos response was,"Hey, rules are rules," and she walked away, leaving Mr. Sanders feeling a little less guilty.

Personality: Leah, most of the time, seems very high strong and impossible to bend. She acts on impulse a lot of the time, and has to deal with remorse after. She would scarcely seem like the gullible type, but the facts are that she's terrified of being left alone. The sole reason she joined Marius' tribe wasn't because she wanted to dominate the planet, but because he promised she wouldn't be without company. This, along with not being killed, seemed to be a pretty good deal. She's influenced very easily and can tend to be too trustworthy. But if she finds out you've been using her, all hell breaks loose. She's desperately in need of a true 'family' though. She wants to be with a group who will accept her for who she is and won't take advantage of her. She lets Marius and his group do this because she doesn't want to get kicked out and left behind. This becomes a difficult problem when Marius wants Terra's group to join... Because Leah becomes determined not to let them fall into the same trap. And perhaps even of joining them...
Physical Description: She has pure, beach blonde hair with eyes that glint blue most of the time. Though when she seems fierce or when she's close to her wolf state, they turn to their natural color: Amber. She has an athletic build, but is fairly attractive too. She's very tomboyish but has fears that are her weak spot.

Physical Description: Malcom has a very slim build, but is very tall (nearly 6'2''). He has black hair and amber eyes of course! Personality: Kind, sweet, very caring, loves nature and music. He will die for his friends and sacrifice everything for them, just to make them happy. Very lonely inside though because he has no friends and all of the friends he gets, uses him and then leaves.
Physical Description: White but his skin was tanned due to being outside all of the time. Black hair, bright amber but very piercing like he can see into your very soul.

Roleplay Example:

Pan was walking through the woods, just enjoying the outdoors and his music, when he stumbled into a wolf. It was bigger than an average day wolf but it quickly ran away like it was just a dream. He started singing lightly "Dance with the Devil" and attracted a whole audience of wild animals to him by his beautiful singing. He started back up walking again and finished his song a few minutes later.

When he was done, Pan shifted into his wolf skin and ran through the woods, howling and enjoying himself. He was always at peace when it came to music and the outdoors and this was no exception. He thought I hope that beautiful wolf comes back because I want to see who that was and maybe become friends with it. That wolf looked very startled though. I wonder why that would be. He finally came across a spring and started lapping up water. After a little while of drinking the water, the wolf came back but it seemed like it wanted to be alone, so he left but he got a good look at the wolf before dispersing into the woods. All that he could think about while leaving the woods was that wolf which was tan and white.

Terra's amber eyes flashed, the full moon filling her with energy. It was nearly impossible to sleep on these nights; the same moon that had made her what she was overhead, urging her to shift. So she did. Running through the forest lightly, her footfalls soon changed to the sound of four paws thumping lightly over the freshly fallen leaves. It was glorious.

Her ears pricked and tail wagging with the sheer pleasure, Terra's nostrils flared as she let the familiar scents of the nearby forest seep in. Her pace increased, and the trees began to blur at the edges. She hated running on two legs, but on four...it was just different. Momentum from her back legs made her spring forward, but her front legs helped out too. It made running easier, and all the more amazing.
