Yes, this is a brief teaser for Ti's story...I know this has been an ongoing process, it'll still be a little while before its finished but, I couldn't resist xD

Also, this story is titleless so I would appreciate ideas for this.

Plotline: Titanium is the result of Steele and Anna's second litter. All his life he was always looked down upon by his
father and his older brothers, Cobalt and Iron. But soon he meets a certain girl who changes his outlook on life and things are
looking up, for they are quickly expecting a family. Yet, when tragedy strikes, and the long anticipated litter abridges to only
one pup being born alive, how will the young lovers handle it? And how will their young daughter cope with the stress? Note:
this takes place after CatWhoHas14Tails' "The Reddest Race."

Titanium was adopted before his first year, just as his brothers before him, by Mr. Simons, a rather lanky man,
who despite his sleek frame was quite a well respected sled racer throughout Nome.

Mr Simons had heard about the famous sled dog Steele, and his equally talented sons; Cobalt and Iron, and had been
extremely ecstatic to find that Steele had produced his second litter.

Although, at first Mr. Simons wasn't sure about the only male in this litter, Titanium, due to his smaller size compred to his
older brothers, but the man decided to give him a try. He would prove useful somehow, right?

Titanium's father, Steele, on the other hand, thought his son to be a burden, his small size could not compare with the sheer
vastness of his first two sons. So early on he decided this son was a mistake and would never amount to anything.

Being disapproved by his father, Titanium grew cold, bitter and sought refuge with local street dogs that became a sort of
adopted family.

1 Year Later

One spring morning when it was rather warm out, or atleast by Nome's standards, and the snow was turning to slush,
Titanium could be seen making his way down towards the post office. Mr. Simons at his side. The man's strawberry blonde hair
tousled a bit by a light breeze. Mr. Simons took Titanium's leash and tied it to a nearby light pole and with murmmers of 'you be
a good dog now', he patted the brown male on the head and walked inside.

As Titanium turned to sit down to wait, his tags rattling, he caught sight of a larger blonde mix heading his way, its nose in the
air, tail curled over his back, and chest thrusted out as if he owned the town.

Titanium rolled his eyes, this is exactly what he wanted to avoid...

"Hey runt, your human come to his sences and abandon you yet?"

....Conversing with his brother Iron. Titanium laced his ears "No" he growled.

"Man, why is he tolerating a runt like you? I mean all you'll do is slow down his team" Iron snorted.

"As it is, father basically disowned you" Iron sniffed disdainfully , looking down on his younger brother.

The darker mix snorted "I'm just as fast, if not faster than you and Cobalt" refering to his other brother.

"You said what?!" the blonde mix asked sarcastically, raising one eyebrow.

"You also need strength, which you lack, not just speed."

"I could beat you any day, any time" Titanium replied

Iron snorted as he turned his back on his little brother. "Not even in you dreams runt. You'd better stick to those street
mongrel frieds of yours." The large mix sniffed as he sprinted off.

Probably trying to go see Quinn, and apologize for about the billionth time...Titanium thought to himself, rolling his azure eyes.

He really couldn't understand why his brother even tried with the red hybird; she obviously wanted nothing to do with him,
after all, who could blame her for what he had done to her and their daughter Stunner?





Critique & Suggestions are Welcome!

This is some quality writing, destined to be a great story. There's a few gramatical errors, and when Titanium and his brother are talking i lose track for a few lines on who's saying what. Also, just on a character critique standpoint, i'd like to see Titanium have a complex around his brother, at least when speaking to them. If he's been the runt and verbally - possibly physically abused for so long - i think he might be quiet and sort of shut in while his brother abuses him. Meanwhile in his head he has all the answers and comebacks and the will to beat his brothe down. Then maybe later in the story he breaks through this self imposed wall. It's sort of the underdog story, we want to love him becasue he is flawed. But this is just a suggestion.

Couple of things I'd like to ask about Titanium's story, if you wouldn't mind.

1) In regards to his father (Steele) is his mate, Anna, from a fanfic? Or what exactly? I've seen every film, and never knew he had even gotten a mate, nor do I remember any character that's name was Anna. Not trying to be rude, just curious, unless Anna is your own idea of course.

2) I personally like the way you set up the story so far, just had to say that. ^_^

3) Since Steele was around the same generation as Balto, would the pups have ever interacted with Balto's litter? Anyway... I wish you the best of luck with your story, and look forward to reading more.

1.) Anna is DrewTheWolf's character, she is a "fan-mate" of Steele, and a rather popular, well known one.

2.) Thank-you. It needs a lot of work as I've been changing plots a lot.

3.) Not necessarily, Titanium's brother Iron is the mate of Saba(Quinn) who we all know is Balto's daughter. Titanium and his sisters (from his litter): Lydia and Bridgette, are from a second litter, therefore are about a year younger then Steele's first litter.
