Did you think that he died or would not wake up?

If you didn't think so then explane why.


When i started to watch the films back in Febuary When balto hit the rock at first i though he died until Star say 'Ohhh, Look." Thats when i got in shocked..

I didnt think he died because its not something that could kill him I didnt think.. and they wouldnt kill of the main role in a kids movie. Plus there was a Balto 2 and 3 XD.

I'm saying when you first watched it did you think he died or would not wake up. i know he didn't die.

Yes I know, I watched it in 2009 or something which means the other 2 movies where out.

I don't remember, I first saw the film ages ago when I was little.

Well when I was little was when I first saw the movie so yeah, I thought he had died. But if I had seen it later on when I was older, I wouldn't have thought that. Or probably would have, but would have common sense to know that people almost never kill the main character. Otherwise, there'd be pretty much no story X3

He's the main character, and the main character never dies - especially not in kid's films. It was a shocking scene, but I knew he wouldn't die. It was just obvious. Fake death scenes usually bother me *coughAlphaandOmegacough* but Balto did an alright job of it. Still didn't convince me though.

I saw it when I was little, so I probably did think he died. I don't think I cared though because Steele was my favorite back then. XD

I don't remember if I though he will die, but he definitely shouldn't wake up after this or be badly wounded/knocked for longer time. Then POOF and 5 minutes later he's completely alright! xD

But I don't recall thinking he died when I first saw it. Like most who posted, I don't remember clearly as I was young watching it the first time.
I do recall thinking that it was more like a sign of defeat. It was a fairly violent scene, and watching it you think Balto would give up. ...well obviously he didn't.
That's what I remember thinking anyway. It certainly did look painful enough to give him quite a headache, but I didn't think he'd die. Be knocked out for a while perhaps, but not die.

I never thought Balto would die, but if he did and steel returned the medicene that would have been unexpected..

Like several others, I don't remember clearly... But I don't think that I thought he'd die. I saw him as a strong character, a strong enough character to survive almost anything. But gosh! It must've hurt lol.

I was pretty sure he just passed out. He's the main character, and knowing the true story I knew he'd make it back to Nome. But i do think he would've AT LEAST gone into a coma or something, had some brain damage... poor buddy :p
