I doubt they will make a Balto 4. Balto 3 did not make enough money to fund another sequel, anyway. It would be cool and surprising, but I doubt it will happen.

There are certain story lines that have the potential to make good movies, but that's what fanfics are for in this case. Besides, don't need the Balto movies to be turning into a Land Before Time thing where they make many un-needed sequels. This...I can only imagine what awful story they'd come up with.

If you want this to happen, don't go see Universal films like "Despicable Me" and "Hop"; and buy plenty of Balto DVDs.
In three words : when pigs fly.
The "direct-to-video" era is over, and there isn't anymore traditional animation companies in the western world. (save for a few rare TV series, which are progressively moving to CGI too)

A CGI Balto film? I don't think so. Although a CGI Balto game might be fun. It could make for a good click-and-explore adventure.

Besides, don't need the Balto movies to be turning into a Land Before Time thing where they make many un-needed sequels. I agree with this completely. I much prefer fandom to anything official anyway - and since the sequels were so badly made and made so little money, what hopes do we have for a decent (unneeded) Balto sequel? It ain't never gonna happen.. and it's definitely for the best. They should've just left the first one alone.

There are still several out there; even if they're not professional companies everyone has heard of. Yes, because they're not professional and high-budget companies like Dreamworks and Universal the progress is extremely slow, but we could still very well see some traditionally animated films in the future. ---------- As for the letter, I don't see why sending a letter would hurt, but don't get your hopes too high. The budget could be a crazy amount of money to work with, even with traditional animation, and with that budget they have to be comfortable with a fact that there would be a greater amount of feedback money from people who bought the film. That means around millions of dollars for a Balto film, which, in my opinion, doesn't seem likely at all to happen. After Balto 3 everything seemed to crash.

I like being a pain, DC comics still does traditional animated films. In fact the next one thats comming out is Green Latern : Emerald Knights (DC comics can be concidered a "big" studio I guess. Just depends)

I totally agree with Dragon Tamer They should make a second Balto and talk about his dad.... They should also talk about why that white wolf appears out of nowhere in Balto II Wolf Quest, Let me some it up in four words: they should start now! I miss the Balto movies and have them on my iPod, but they skip for some reason and don't know why! I think they should make a Balto movie and make it on Balto's dad instead of all of this stupid stuff on sleddog racing (I like that idea though) and I think Balto should tell Kodi about his wolf herritage instead OF KEEPING IT A SECRET ARE YOU INSANE UNIVERSAL! They should also get Steele back and spoil the wolf herritage secret and start making fun of Kodi and Balto says "Kodi I want to talk to you now!" This is all I've got to say
