Hanou always had suspicions, but reality was shocking. Mind-blowing. In the care of her mysterious uncle, she had always wondered how her parents died; he refused to talk about them. A dark secret remains in the shadows as Hanou struggles to figure out her parents' story. A single fact comes to light; they were murdered.

But how? Why? And by whom? She draws the attention of her uncle, who forbids her from uncovering the truth. Oddly defiant, Hanou secretly pieces together the facts. One clue leads to the next, and as she grows closer to finding the answer her uncle grows closer to committing murder once more. Unable to prevent it, Hanou seeks refuge from her friends.

Though danger looms in the future, Hanou will not give up her quest for knowledge.
What happened to her parents? And what secret were they protecting?

~I do want these posts to be semi-advanced; at least two paragraphs.
~I would prefer you to use font colors other than black for a character, to make it easier to read.

~Not everyone will be accepted, depending on your entry. I do require full biographies, as well as a detailed, well-written roleplay example.
~No god-modding, power-playing, auto-hitting, etc.

She can be slightly judgemental at times, though she tries not to be. She finds it hard to trust people automatically, and it takes a while to earn her friendship.

Name: Tanner
Pronunciation: Tan - er
Nickname: Tan (but prefers Tanner)
Gender: Male
Age: 15 years
Personality: Reserved, the only friend he seems to be able to talk a lot to is Hanou. He is very mysterious, and a lot of things stay unknown about him, making him a very suspicious person to be around. He himself judges situations based on the facts he gathers, and all his quiet habits tend to lead to a lot of learned information. He can be very resourceful, but it takes an extreme amount of time to gain his trust. Not many people find they can trust him, either, considering just the aura he carries around him. No one can figure him out all the way, no one ever knows what he's up to, and he's just all around hard to get inside the mind of.
Role: A suspicious character that is Hanou's friend. Some expect he has something to do with the murders, but he doesn't really. He just would rather keep quiet than prove his innocence right away.

Fear(s): Having any one person know every single thing about him (if it's alright, Hanou helps him later on to get over the fear since she's the only one who can)
Crush: A slight one on Hanou (if that's okay), but no one really knows for sure.
Family: He lives with his older brother. His parents have been away for months. They'll come back eventually, but not any time soon.

Roleplay Example:

Tanner was sitting alone at his house, as usual. He was enjoying the quiet time. It gave him moments to think when he couldn't around crowds or people. Then, suddenly, as if the world knew he was relaxed and wanted to ruin it, his brother slammed the door on his way in. "Hey lil' bro, what's up?" He shot. Tanner groaned. Why did his brother have to be so obnoxious?

It was written all over his face, the way Tanner reacted. "Alright, alright. I'll leave ya alone. But, Tanner?" Tanner turned towards his brother's hard, but stretched from smiling face. "You know you have to go to school sometime, right?" Tanner nodded. "You've already missed two days. A third ditch wouldn't be smart."

Tanner was ignoring his brother's advice on the inside. He didn't want to go back to school. Not just yet. Though he pretended to listen as he nodded a 'sure'. And with that, his brother was off upstairs.
