What do you guys think is the scariest moment in the film?
There are a few scary moments in Balto, but I have to say Steele's psychotic breakdown at the end of the movie was for me. Its just the fact he was rather smug and composed and he's just completely snapped and attacks Balto so brutally. It's just scary.
The coffin scene also freaks me out.

Well, no part in the movie actually scares me, but if I had to pick the scariest part, I'd say the coffin scene.

I remember when I was younger I actually had a nightmare about that coffin scene, so I'd have to agree with it being the scariest part of the film. To this day it still gives me a haunting chill.

Nothing's scariest really, execpt maybe, the coffins part. Someone is going to die kinda feeling. It was real eerie!Just they way they were placed in the dark was kind of spooky. Like there was an evil there in those coffins. But the way they where palce in the dark creeped me out!

I don't find anything in this movie to be "scary"

Balto-kodiak wrote: Not even the coffin scene or when balto hit the rock? No. It may seem scary to other, that's fine. But I first saw Balto when I was little, so I don't remember any of what I was thinking or feeling. But since then I've seen the movie many times, so there really isn't a reason to be afraid. But I guess I would have to go with the coffin scene to be the scariest moment for someone who may be at a younger age who hasn't seen the movie.
