Ruling your side of the world?

If you could rule your side of the world for just one day. What would you do for your country? New laws? Paint all the houses polka-dot? What would you do?!

Well, 24 hours is a very short time. I'd probably do what any politician would, try to gain as much money as possible then run off 5 minutes early...

I shall decree that my govt. isn't so strict. Keep Church and State separate and let people marry without government interference. Also, I think that there should be a Metalhead president, and every meeting starts off with a 5 min concert, and let him to actually be smart and let him and the people together in harmony.

That would most certainly end in a Nuclear explosion...

Hm... not much. I don't think I'd change many laws... maybe to make bullying illegal in EVERY state instead of just a few. And put down laws to help endangered wildlife... and get rid of all the laws against pit bulls, wolf dogs, and other misunderstood breeds, fund for various pounds and shelters so they can get more room for dogs so they don't have to euthanize as many each day... and stuff along those lines I guess. Call me an eco maniac for that day LOL XD

Actually, to add to my post; I would also ban speed limits on motoways.

- Make a public announcement to men that abortion is none of their business and to let us ladies handle it.
- Make abortion legal (with exceptions).
- Kill off the church, jk, just those insane religious people who are violent or generally annoy the rest of the population in the name of their religion.
- Make all marriage legal (as long as all sides consent).
- Use government funds to buy out all the puppy mills and turn them into nice animal shelters where all the animals can be happy until they get adopted into a good home.
- Have Miley Cyrus shipped out to that island of garbage that's gathering in the ocean, because that's where she belongs.

Well, that's my political agenda (more or less)... Some of these are based of arguements I've had with people in my government class.
It'll probably take more than 24 hours though XD

Meh. Maybe do what Hunter said, and then I'd also raise the punishment for animal abuse, make abortion illegal, excep for people that really can't have the child.
And help with the political stuff. So we wouldnt be into this much debt.
