I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a lot of screencaps from the Balto movies. I am currently capping Wolf Quest (I have over 400 caps from the opening title until the end of the adoption scene; more to come soon!), but I plan on capping all of them.
I'm going to post a link to the zip file whenever I upload all of the caps (will also be posted in my Live Journal, if anyone's on there).
Oh, if this is not allowed, just tell me so. But if anyone decides to use them for icons, sigs, etc., please be sure to credit me. Thank you!

Make icons with them . . . . ^__^ and put them in my Live Journal for anyone to use. Plus, I would probably post them on here too!
I'm such a weirdo . . . . I haven't even reached 30 minutes in the film already and I have over 430 caps. (Will probably have over a thousand by the end of it)

Cap update: I've gotten to the part where Aleu runs away. I hope to finish it all by this weekend.
One more thing: I'm trying to get caps that I haven't seen anywhere else online. They look cool so far!

You guys make it hard on yourself. Why not just create a stem program that automatically takes frames out of the movie and converts them to any picture file type you want? All you gotta do is just use Borland ADV or Zealsoft and then add the preferenced you like.
example)
systemrec$FRAMENO-ALASKASJ~ (name of your computer)
BOOT CODE$_STARTUP-4-79.BPL
AUTOTRACE ON/OFF
LOCK #1 IF AUTOTRACE = "ON"
EXECUTE.DESIRE photoedit4-1.exe
CONV/OPN TO photox.png OR photox.bmp OR photox.jpg2000
ONLY LET x = command1-1
etc. (you get the idea)
Or you can all take the long way and print each screenshot by buttons. Either way will work, but I [refer to get all 700,000 frames out onto my external harddrive for editing with the program I made.
Anyways, good luck!

Yet another update:
I'm about halfway done! Currently at the part with the bear (near when Balto joins Aleu . . . yay). I think I'll be done by Friday if I keep this up.

Well, not everyone knows how to do this...And automatic screenshots are often not very good.

Umm, that isn't html, or javascript, so I give up, what is it? And if I do want to do that, where would I type it? Notpad? And then where would I put it? lol, lots of answers needed!

I suppose this is a custom language used by the programs he quoted. (Borland ADV , Zealsoft)

O__O That was confusing.
To make my screenshots, I used a program called Media Player Classic (not the same as Windows Media Player). It was easier than I thought!
*starts capping some more*

Obviously, making automatic screenshots is much more quick than making them manually. I may try "Alaskas Jenna" method in the future...
