I really wonder why TaleSpin isn't part of the Disney Afternoon Hour anymore. I think there were a misunderstanding at Disney because you can't except new people to know if the series belongs to the Afternoon or is part of the Jungle Book.

Does no one has any contacts to people who worked with Disney in the 80ies and the Disney Afternoon? Maybe they can confirm that the series is a standalone and part of the Disney Afternoon or even call someone from Disney.

I don't see any reason why Boom Comics should be restricted by their own licence.

i think we should do the talespin comic if boom does it when they finally do it they would hire some cheapy artist who cnat draw a stick figure or have aputer do it for them and make it lamer than watching a documentary on woodworking for 3 years, if we all get together and make comic stories form our hearts they will be real, strong and full of life and greatly drawn who needs boom of is should say fizzout.

Well you probably didn't entirely get my point when I stated "TaleSpin is not a Disney Afternoon property".

OF COURSE TaleSpin is a Disney Afternoon show. They even released Disney Afternoon vinylmation officially, which includes TaleSpin.
BUT when it comes to licencing (to third parties), Disney does not include it. Which is why Boom cannot do anything with it. And this sucks.

Err...Have you SERIOUSLY looked at the Boom Studios comics? They're all very professional, and the art in Darkwing Duck and Rescue Rangers is AMAZING. In no way they can be called "cheap". And in no way us fans will be able to do such amazing work. But we'll try to get as close as possible!
