I was browsing the Internet today and I came across a new book by Joe L. Wheeler, best known for his "Christmas in my Heart" compilations. This book is about Togo, best known for his role in the serum run in 1925. The book can be found here. http://www.adventistbookcenter.com/Detail.tpl?sku=081632431X I haven't read it myself, but it looks pretty interesting, especially if you're interested in the true story of Balto and all the other dogs.
